The Room was clean, and it was great that the bath and toilet were separate. Since this trip was partly for work, the breakfast hours were not an issue, but if staying only for business, a 7:00 a.m. breakfast start feels a bit late and might make this Accommodation less likely to be considered.

From check-in to the room, everything went smoothly, and the Onsen, coffee, newspapers, breakfast, and parking were all free. There were also plenty of dinner options at the places you recommended, and we were very satisfied. We’ll be switching from other Business Hotels! This was my first visit to Kamikochi and my first stay overnight. The location is excellent—just 30 seconds from Kappa Bridge—and the building is very clean throughout. The dinner and breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and we were very satisfied. Neither my companion nor I drink alcohol, but there was a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well as craft beer. We toasted with a Shine Muscat sparkling drink. There is no TV in the Room, which encouraged us to go to bed early and fully enjoy our stay surrounded by nature. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy the starry sky.

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

The Room is compact yet equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet, especially the customizable seafood rice bowl, was delightful and highly satisfying. Guests can also enjoy Dormy Inn's signature night soba noodles and post-bath services, ensuring a classic Dormy Inn experience. Additionally, some rooms come with a washer-dryer, making it very convenient for long stays or travelers looking to pack light. On the other hand, the sauna-equipped large public bath can get quite crowded depending on the time of day, which might be slightly disappointing. As this is a popular Hotel, it may be best to plan visits during less busy hours for a more relaxing experience. Overall, this Hotel offers an excellent balance of location, service, and dining options and serves as an ideal base for sightseeing or business in the Namba area.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit cold on the day of my stay, possibly due to the seasonal change, and it was unfortunate that there was no heating option in the air conditioning system.

We stayed here the night before heading to Sado. Since we booked on the day, we received a discount and it was great value for money. The Room isn’t large, but it was comfortable enough. The shared area had manga and massage chairs, and the kids enjoyed them too. The buffet breakfast on the 10th floor was very reasonably priced—so cheap I felt it might even be less than buying food at a convenience store. There was a good selection, and the rice (from Niigata) was delicious. At the Hotel entrance there was also a shaved-ice service (mainly for kids?), and although it was only available for a short time, we had a pleasant stay overall. One thing that confused me: we parked in the affiliated multi-story parking garage right in front of the Hotel. When asked about our parking ticket, I handed it over thinking it would be free, but at checkout it only went from 1,200 yen to 1,100 yen. The website also says 1,100 yen, but I couldn’t tell whether that is the regular rate or the discounted rate. Since the front desk took my ticket, ran it through their machine, and returned it without any explanation, I think some guests may mistakenly assume parking becomes free.

The front desk staff were very kind, and we were especially well taken care of by the restaurant team. When I asked where the nearest convenience store was so I could buy ice for watching a baseball game outdoors, they told me, “We have some here—please take as much as you need.” They gave us plenty, which was a huge help. We would love to stay again.

I stayed for three nights. During my stay, the front desk staff were very courteous, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. Thanks to them, I truly enjoyed a pleasant stay. Thank you very much. I used a twin Room, but because the TV is positioned slightly toward the front, it felt a bit difficult to pass through when moving to the bed at the back. This may be unavoidable due to the Room layout, but it was something I noticed. As for the bathroom, it was kept clean with no water stains, and I was able to use it comfortably. On the other hand, there was a small gap between the bathtub and the wall where water could easily get in, so I was slightly concerned about possible mold in the future. Sealing the gap with rubber caulking might help keep it cleaner. Overall, the staff were helpful and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

Although I was told it was a bit far from Otaru Station with some elevation changes, it was an easy walk. I enjoyed strolling around the town of Otaru along the way. Breakfast was excellent and very delicious. The Room was also spacious, and I could truly relax. All the staff were very kind, and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much. I would love to stay here again when I visit Otaru.

We visited with 11 people from 4 families to celebrate the owner's birthday. After visiting Honpukuji Temple by Ando architecture and being impressed by its magnificence, we entered the Hotel with high expectations. Our expectations were not disappointed, as we could feel the art museums and Hotels of Naoshima throughout the building, which made us feel nostalgic and happy. I was particularly impressed by how pleasant the person in charge during meals was. Thank you very much.

The Onsen water had a very silky, slippery feel—unlike anything I’ve experienced before—and it was wonderful. Since it was before Golden Week, there were very few guests and it was quiet, so I could relax. Dinner was extremely luxurious, and I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it all. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Onsen.

This was the final Accommodation of my first trip to Niigata, a 3-night, 4-day journey. Our Room was the 2nd-floor Western-style twin [Marronnier]. The bathroom, with a separate toilet, was very convenient and made our mother-and-daughter trip extremely comfortable. The closet was spacious, and there were plenty of hangers. Just before check-in there are shoe lockers, and you can walk around the building barefoot or in socks. From the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the Room and along the corridors, you can enjoy views of wine grapes vineyards and the mountain range stretching from Mt. Yahiko. I visited looking forward to Vinespa’s aroma hot stone sauna, but I was told it is no longer available after renovations—such a shame. Still, the open-air baths placed throughout the garden offered wonderful scenery, and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking both after dinner and before breakfast. Restaurant Cave d’Occi is beyond a European-style garden that is carefully maintained by gardeners. The April menu—beautifully presented and truly delicious—featured local ingredients (hairy crab, celeriac root celery), spear squid), wild boar meat), flounder), roast beef smoked with branches from wine grapes vines), etc.) without feeling overdone). At the winery shop, I had my favorite Zweigeltrebe and unoaked Chardonnay shipped home). The next morning’s Japanese breakfast surprised me—in a great way: zaru tofu with olive oil was delicious!! At checkout time) pizza toast) grape juice) at the library café tasted so good it made leaving hard). It’s an Accommodation that made me genuinely envy those who live nearby).

It was a new and very clean Hotel. The unmanned check-in and smart key made everything easy. What made us choose this Hotel was that MaxValu is within walking distance, parking is free, and there is a large public bath! We booked two Rooms for our family of seven, and with that many people, waiting your turn for the bath can be quite stressful, so it was great that we could all go to the large public bath at night and bathe at once. However, there didn’t seem to be much security for the baths (anyone can enter from the 1st floor), so women should be careful late at night. There were also about 10 washing machines available, so we could use them without waiting. The location is excellent, so we would like to stay here again.

The road to the Accommodation includes steep slopes and narrow sections, so guests who are not confident drivers may find it challenging. On arrival, we received a warm welcome and had a pleasant check-in. The Room was spacious, spotless, and filled with great natural light. However, the Beppu view was blocked by overgrown trees outside the window; please trim them. There were many types of baths, and the iron-rich indoor bath in particular had excellent water quality. The private family bath and open-air bath also offered superb views, which we really enjoyed. Dinner and breakfast were luxurious, featuring only delicious ingredients—very satisfying. All-you-can-drink beer in the lounge is an irresistible service for beer lovers. It seems there are even more wonderful Accommodations in your group, so I’d like to try another one next time as well.

I made a Reservation not for myself, but for a family trip for my uncle and other relatives. As they are elderly, we had detailed requests regarding Room assignments and meal arrangements, but you responded quickly and courteously to our emails in advance, and we were very satisfied. My uncle said it was a wonderful Ryokan—the food was delicious, the all-you-can-drink alcohol was great, and being able to have a beer after the bath was the best part. I’m sure our large group caused some inconvenience in various ways, but thank you very much. If I have the chance to return home and travel myself, I would love to stay with you as well.

I had to book after noon on the day due to a sudden business trip, but fortunately there was a vacancy and I was able to stay. This was my second stay, and the front desk staff were courteous. We stayed as a family of three. Free parking is available. The Room was spacious, so we could relax comfortably. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all large and clean. It was helpful that they lent us a phone charger and an extension cord. There are also restaurants and a drugstore near the Hotel, which was convenient. We would like to stay again if we have the chance. One downside was that the entrance door opens inward, so it was a bit difficult to get in and out when shoes were in the way, but the staff were kind and the service was great, so I give it 5 stars.
