We stayed from 7/18 to 7/21 as a family of four: a couple and two children (6th and 3rd grade). We’ve stayed at several whole-house Accommodations before, but this one is by far the best!! This time we stayed in the Plumeria Room with a private pool, and the kids were thrilled! Whenever they had free time during our stay, they were in the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, so we cooked dinner twice during our stay (one was a BBQ) and made breakfast every day without any inconvenience. Basic seasonings such as oil, soy sauce, and salt were also provided. The large refrigerator had complimentary water and canned tea that we could drink freely, which was incredibly helpful. The Room was very spacious and stylish. The bathrooms were kept very clean, which made our stay comfortable. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two toilets, which was very convenient when we came back from the beach and everyone wanted to shower. We requested BBQ equipment rental on the morning of the day, and when we returned from going out it had been set up on the terrace. The kids loved their routine of eating meat until they got hot—and then jumping in for a swim. During our stay we even found stag beetles by the poolside about twice—our son was beyond excited! Stag beetles, shiny jewel bugs, geckos; tons of crabs and hermit crabs on the beach; plus unlimited swimming in the pool—this place is paradise for kids. If we can come back again, we definitely will!! It became an unforgettable summer memory.

The Onsen water quality was excellent. Since it was a very affordable Plan, I honestly didn’t expect much from breakfast, but it was delicious and satisfying—a well-balanced meal served in small portions. I will definitely stay again.

I stayed here during Golden Week. The staff were very courteous, and I felt truly comfortable throughout my stay. The meals were excellent—I could enjoy freshly cooked rice, and I could really feel the care put into serving warm food. I was very satisfied. The bath was also wonderful. The items in the Showa-era room were full of nostalgia, and it was fun to play Super Mario on a Famicom! What impressed me most at first was the small chilled rice ball placed alongside the manju when I checked in early. It was delicious, just the right amount, and it made for a relaxing start to my stay. Thank you for two great days!

Although I checked in late at night due to a night flight, the front desk staff provided courteous service. The hotel is a 1,500 yen taxi ride from the airport. The building felt like a converted apartment, but it was clean and comfortable for just sleeping. Amenities were minimal but sufficient. I did laundry and used the bathroom dryer, and everything was dry by morning, which was very convenient! There is a car rental service right below the hotel, making it easy to get moving. Affordable prices, kind staff, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

I was able to stay in a quiet location and relax. The Facility was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay.

This was my second stay. They prepared a slightly larger Room for me, so I was able to relax and enjoy my time. After check-out, I realized I had left something behind; since I was still nearby, I returned about an hour later and informed them, and they responded immediately and found it for me. We stayed here with a friend couple the night before visiting Kamikochi. The Accommodation has been beautifully renovated and was very comfortable. The bath water was on the lukewarm side, but since it was summer, that worked well. Dinner sukiyaki was a little sweet, but delicious. At 4:00 a.m., a sandwich boxed breakfast had been prepared in the refrigerated locker, which helped us so much. Everywhere in Kamikochi that serves food had long lines, but thanks to the packed meal we could go without worrying about finding something to eat. We really appreciated the sandwiches, yogurt, and bottled tea. It was also great that we could leave our car here and walk to Sawando Bus Terminal. Thank you for taking care of us.

It was my first time staying here. I was looking for a Hotel where I could stay at a low price without any unnecessary Plan options, so it was perfect for me. The parking lot is right in front, so carrying luggage was easy. The Room was clean and I was satisfied. Since it’s available throughout The whole country, I will definitely use it again.

I had the privilege of spending New Year's for the first time at Kinjohro, one of Kanazawa's most renowned ryokan. With my mother being from Kanazawa and having spent six years studying in this city myself, it had always been a dream to welcome the New Year at Kinjohro. However, I hesitated for a long time, feeling that such a prestigious and traditional ryokan might be beyond my reach. This year, I finally had the opportunity to visit Kanazawa with my son and fulfill this long-held dream. The elegant architecture, refined furnishings harmonizing sophistication and grace, exquisite Kutani ware and Kaga Yuzen kimonos—everything exuded timeless beauty. The traditional Kaga cuisine featuring local specialties like yellowtail fish, crab, duck dishes such as kamo-jibu stew prepared with care using authentic ingredients—and even the osechi New Year’s feast—were simply exceptional. The room and bath filled with the soothing scent of cypress wood added to an unforgettable experience. Above all else was the heartfelt hospitality provided by staff who embody over 130 years of tradition in this historic city of Kanazawa. It felt as though we were transported back in time to experience the grandeur of Kaga Hyakumangoku culture. On New Year's morning after enjoying osechi cuisine, we joined other guests along with the owner, proprietress (okami), head chef, staff members and their families for a mochi-pounding event at the entrance. The friendly atmosphere shared among everyone under glimpses of blue sky through clouds made it truly special—the taste of kinako-coated mochi will remain etched in our memories alongside our stay at Kinjohro. Thank you so much to everyone at Kinjohro! I look forward to experiencing more seasonal delights from Kanazawa’s rich culture through future visits here.

Because of a sudden change of plans, we made a last-minute Reservation and stayed here, and it was far more enjoyable than we expected! In the lobby right by the entrance, there was a kids’ play area, board games, and a small complimentary ice cream service—our child was thrilled. Meals were buffet-style, with a wide variety of items stylishly displayed, which made dining fun. We were especially impressed by the many dishes featuring ingredients from Ibaraki. Even though our Reservation was last-minute, they handled food allergies very carefully—for example, providing us with a detailed list—which we really appreciated. Our Room had not been renovated, so we noticed a slight musty smell and some humidity. If we stay again, we would like to reserve a renovated Room. Overall, the staff were very kind and made our stay comfortable.

We stayed in the Luxury Suite as a family of four. The Ryokan slippers were a bit hard and uncomfortable to wear. Other than the distance and cold walk from the Room to the large public bath, everything was excellent. The rental yukata and hair accessories were lovely. On snowy days, we recommend avoiding the Yamanami Highway. We are grateful for the front desk's kind advice on the best route home.

You can enjoy the view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge up close, and everything—the location, the Accommodation’s atmosphere, and the Facility—is excellent, so we have stayed here many times. If I could ask for more, the bathroom window has no curtain and is fully visible from outside, so I would really like you to install one. If there were a sofa bed in the second-floor family room, we could relax upstairs as well, and it would be convenient for multiple families to sleep there. We all look forward to staying here again as a family.

I traveled with my dog and my elderly parents. Because my mother was undergoing breast cancer treatment, we ruled out Accommodations with large shared baths that would be used together with other guests. That’s why this kind of private, whole-house rental traditional farmhouse Accommodation was truly appreciated, and it was our first time staying here. We also found the service very comfortable—welcoming and thoughtful, yet not intrusive, with just the right sense of distance. Since the interior is a renovated old house, most areas are wooden floors except for the tatami Room(s). To be honest, that can be hard on a dog’s paws, but if you bring blankets or similar items and make sure your dog has soft places to rest and walk on as much as possible, it isn’t an issue at all. The meals provided were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. There was even a massage chair in the spacious earthen-floor area, which our family took turns using. It seems there are several other Accommodations in this series as well, so next time I’d like to visit a different one too.

I often drive to Kanagawa, so I always stay here. The free parking with no Reservation required is very convenient. It’s also nice that there is a large public bath. However, there are two disappointing points. This may be a bit picky, but the complimentary black tea and green tea bags are not very good. Is this the same across all Route Inn Hotels? The other issue was that there was no yogurt at breakfast.

Although the exterior is not particularly impressive, the Room was spacious and affordable, and it was excellent with meals and complimentary drinks provided, plus a great selection of amenities. There was also inexpensive parking nearby, which was very convenient. I will use it again.

An “Onsen set” was prepared in the Room. It was raining on the way there and my shoes got wet inside, so I stuffed the towel that was provided into my shoes. As for the Onsen, it was difficult to get to the open-air bath, so I didn’t go. However, some guests did manage to go. The Wi‑Fi password was written on a notice in the Room (the one stating that antisocial groups are not allowed), but that Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the Room and could only be used in the dining area for dinner and breakfast. I should have taken a photo of it with my phone before going to eat. Also, there were only two available outlets after unplugging the TV and refrigerator, so bringing a power strip with multiple sockets may be useful if you need to charge several devices such as a phone, tablet, or digital camera. Dinner was a feast, including grilled tsukihi-gai scallops and shiso leaf dishes. For breakfast, since we had a bus to catch, they moved our start time from 7:00 to 6:30. They were very accommodating—thank you. It also gave me enough time to brush my teeth.

Thank you very much for your flexible support. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. We were able to rent a yukata for our dog—something she rarely gets to wear—and took some adorable photos. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Because our stay was on a tight schedule, we couldn’t go fishing this time, but our dog happily ran around in the spacious dog run, and we were very satisfied with our stay at this Accommodation. When we visit Nanyo or Shirataka again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

The Room had only the bare essentials, which was a bit surprising at first, but anything needed could be borrowed from the front desk without any issues. The staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of side dishes. I had a very comfortable stay. Although I didn’t use it myself, there were many comics available to borrow freely, so if you find something that suits your taste, you can enjoy that as well.

It was a clean and cozy guesthouse. The food at the bar was very delicious.

The neat, clean feel here completely erased the unpleasantness from the cottage-like place we stayed at the night before. Everything was new—the Room and the Facility—and it was simply very comfortable. It may be standard in Okinawa, but having both a washing machine and a gas dryer was incredibly convenient. We booked a Room with four beds, and for the first time we could separate them for pre-bath naps and for sleeping at night—my spouse and I kept remarking on how comfortable that was throughout our stay. We stayed as a couple with one daughter, and overall this is an Accommodation you can’t go wrong with. If I had to mention a downside, parking is paid in nearby lots (the reasonably priced ones are quietly a bit far). At check-in, the guidance made it seem as if there were an affiliated parking lot, which threw us off. A Hotel I can recommend without hesitation.
