We stayed as a family of four, including a child who will turn 2 in a week and a 6-year-old (preschooler), with the main plan being to visit the Churaumi Aquarium on the second day. The location was easy to find thanks to clear signage. Since the parking lot is a bit far, we recommend checking in early, leaving your luggage in the room, and then heading out for activities. The room had two large beds, which was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and it was helpful that you could take off your shoes before entering the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. We rented extra towels for our children at an additional cost. The room was clean and comfortable; however, we had trouble with the shower as it didn’t provide consistent hot water despite operating the water heater switch in the room—it only lasted about 30 seconds at one temperature. Perhaps proper instructions would have helped resolve this issue? For families with long-haired children like ours, bringing your own hair dryer is recommended since the provided one has low airflow strength. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our stay; otherwise, I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful ocean views from the balcony. The next morning we received bread for breakfast along with portions for our kids as well! However, note that their orange juice has a fizzy or tangy taste more suited for adults. Another reason we chose this accommodation is its excellent location—very close to Churaumi Aquarium! We arrived right when it opened and enjoyed watching whale sharks peacefully from in front of their large tank during quieter morning hours. Overall, considering its proximity to attractions and staying within budget limits made this stay very satisfying—thank you so much!

The space is so large that it feels almost too much for just two people. However, the spaciousness allowed our dog to run around freely. It was great even on rainy days as it didn’t matter. I felt it’s perfect for large families or group accommodations.

Just a 1-minute walk with direct access to a beautiful beach. Although there were many other guests, it was very quiet, perhaps because the Rooms were spaced apart. The bath was a pleasant surprise: a spacious jacuzzi.

Stayed during the Obon holiday period. A budget Ryokan with no meals. I didn’t expect much, but it was surprisingly good. The private Beppu Onsen bath is available in 1-hour slots, so you can relax and take your time. The temperature was just right. If you like a charming Onsen Ryokan with a traditional atmosphere, you’ll want to come back. The female front desk staff greeted us with a smile and made a great impression. There’s also a large department store and convenience stores nearby, so you can shop on foot and won’t have to worry about meals.

It was a Twin Room. The view from the window was disappointing as it faced the wall of the neighboring building, but I was satisfied because it was affordable. It's a bit of a walk from the station, which might be tough in summer. However, it could be worth repeating during a more pleasant season. There were many foreign guests. The front desk staff were very kind!

The Room is equipped with a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, fridge-freezer, microwave, and basic cooking utensils, making it suitable for long-term stays. A large dryer is also available on the first floor, and the Room has a balcony where you can hang items such as fins. Hangers are provided as well. There is a beautiful beach just a short walk away, perfect for swimming. Convenience stores and supermarkets are nearby, making shopping easy. The Room was also kept very clean. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Due to a sudden change in my work schedule, I made a reservation and stayed on the same day. The building and facilities show signs of use but are well-maintained with no issues. The atmosphere and service felt homey in a way! Since I had an early departure, I chose the No Meals Included option, but the dining area was open with an izakaya menu until 9:00 PM. This is a reasonably priced hotel that caters well to businessmen and craftsmen in this industrial town. Without a car navigation system, you might need some courage at the final turn towards the hotel (laughs). I'll remember this as my top choice for stays in this area for work!

I had a relaxing and leisurely time. It was enjoyable. Having a rice cooker was very helpful.

Stayed here during a trip to Osaka to help my son move. The room was assigned randomly, but it was smaller than expected. As a slightly larger couple, moving around the room and using the unit bath was a bit challenging. Also, my husband was disappointed that there wasn’t a large public bath since we had assumed "Super Hotel equals large public bath" (though it’s my fault for not checking properly when making the Reservation). Regarding meals, the staff guided us to our seats, so we didn’t have to worry about securing one and felt at ease.

A cost-effective, family-run inn. Parking is available, and there is a bus service, but it ends early. The male owner can drive you to Nikko Station in the morning, which is very convenient. The place is very clean, and the dinner is a buffet where you can eat to your heart's content. The desserts, made by the female owner, are particularly delicious, and personally, I find them tastier than the main dishes. There is a bath area that you can use as long as it's not occupied, which is very convenient. The first floor is especially charming with many rabbit-themed elements, showing that the female owner is someone who loves life. Highly recommended!

The Room was spacious, and having a tatami Room was very helpful since we had a crawling baby. There was no elevator, but there was a freight elevator, so they carried our luggage up to the upper floor for us. The entire Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke, so I’m deducting one star.

I stayed for one night on September 16th. When I contacted them to inform that I would be late for the scheduled check-in due to sightseeing, they responded kindly, which was very touching. The facility is a bit old, but the room I stayed in was spacious, well-cleaned, and comfortable. The dinner had a wide variety and was very delicious. There was a bath exclusively for guests, allowing for a leisurely soak. For me, the water was a bit lukewarm. The hotel staff were all very homely, kind, and nice. Thank you for taking care of me.

I stayed with my child. The location is convenient, as it's close to Shin-Okubo and there’s a convenience store nearby. The Room has a large bed, and the nightwear is separated into top and bottom pieces, which is wonderful! A slightly disappointing point was that the hand mirror seemed to have makeup stains from previous use, and there was only one chair—having an additional small portable chair would be helpful. The services are excellent, so I will definitely stay here again next year!

This was my first time staying at a youth hostel. There were no bath towels, yukata, or toothbrushes provided, but I didn’t find it inconvenient. I chose the plan with two meals included, and since the Accommodation Fee was low, I didn’t expect much. However, the meals were more than enough. There was also a large bath that could fit about four people. The Room had bunk beds and futons that you set up yourself, but the sheets were in a sleeping-bag style and easy to use. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, but on a clear day I’m sure the views would be wonderful. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Amanohashidate.

Although it was slightly expensive due to the Obon season, it was still cheaper than nearby ryokans for a solo trip with two meals included. Being a public accommodation, I didn't have high expectations, but the onsen was flawless with natural flowing water, and all the staff provided warm and pleasant service. The room was a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room where sounds from neighboring rooms could be heard, but the neighbors were quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious even without using luxurious ingredients (perhaps there is also a plan with more luxurious ingredients).

Regarding the meals, breakfast is good, but although dinner offers many dishes, nothing in particular stands out as memorable. For example, since you grow plenty of vegetables in your fields, I think it would feel more special if the vegetable tempura were more substantial and served on a larger plate; there is no need to serve meat on a ceramic grill. Fresh vegetable tempura is a treat in itself, so I would appreciate that.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in a warm, home-like atmosphere. The meals were more than we could finish, and the fresh local fish was excellent.

Plenty of crab, delicious breakfast, and very satisfying. The Onsen was nice, though a bit small.
