The Room wasn’t exceptionally clean, but I felt it offered better value than the price. The amenities were minimal—neither particularly good nor bad. The pillow is low and the bed is soft. Personally, I liked that style, so I was satisfied. I didn’t notice any noise or voices from the neighboring Room at all. I was also very grateful for the free breakfast service. It includes two pieces of bread, a boiled egg, and coffee. It’s first-come, first-served, so if you go later it might be gone. The front desk staff were also efficient and helpful. Above all, the location near the station is amazing! I joined a two-day bus tour and had early mornings, and since the Hotel was on the side of the meeting point it was very convenient. If I come to Nagoya again, I’d like to stay here.

This was our first time staying here. We made a Reservation with a very good-value Plan, but one person suddenly couldn’t make it. When we informed the staff, they handled it very flexibly, which truly helped us. It was our daughter’s birthday, and they also arranged a birthday cake separately. The staff and other guests offered congratulatory words as well, and our daughter was delighted. The meals included some items prepared in advance, but the Joshu beef sukiyaki and fresh sashimi were especially delicious. Rice, miso soup, dessert, and drinks were served buffet-style, so we could enjoy seconds without hesitation—this was excellent. The Room was very spacious; the tatami mats looked newly replaced, there were no areas that concerned us in terms of cleanliness, and we stayed comfortable throughout. Needless to say, the large public bath had wonderful water quality. There was also a cooler “refreshing bath” available only in summer at a lower temperature, which made it comfortable for the children too. All employees were kind and helpful. Above all, it left an impression to see energetic senior staff cheerfully greeting guests while pushing large carts. Everyone worked so efficiently that it gave us energy as well. I’m sure there are various Reviews out there, but for our family this has definitely become a place of wonderful memories—thank you very much! Also, the flowers were properly arranged with fresh blooms; I admired how well they are maintained despite how much work that must be. Next time we’d love to return with the person who couldn’t come this time as well.

With dinner and breakfast included, the Room was clean, and I felt it offered excellent value for money. Amenities were limited to a toothbrush and comb, but it was a satisfying Hotel that’s easy to stay at. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed with two adults, one 4-year-old, and one 2-year-old. The meals were amazing! Great value for the price, all-you-can-drink alcohol, and they even lent us small forks—very helpful when traveling with kids. Also, when our child insisted on sitting at a table for six in the dining area, a male staff member wearing glasses kindly let us use it. Thank you so much! All of the other staff were pleasant as well. I think it’s more worth staying here than at a Hotel that is simply clean but overpriced! My back usually hurts from sleeping on futons in Japanese-style rooms, but this futon was thicker than those at other hotels, so it helped a bit. Since this is a historic Hotel, there were some areas like cobwebs in the Room and a slightly dirty sink, but I think the quality is more than sufficient for this price. We had no problems during our stay. We’d love to stay again!

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights) on weekday nights in July (Thu–Sat). Breakfast and dinner were included, and dinner was a buffet with all-you-can-eat crab. I didn’t expect much from the crab, but it was genuinely delicious! Everything—sushi, mixed rice, and even the snack-style dishes that pair well with alcohol—was great, and I think the food is this Hotel’s biggest highlight. The indoor pool was quiet, so we were able to enjoy it to the fullest. The paid kids’ parks (both indoor and outdoor), putter golf, and the lift were also fun. There are washing machines and dryers, so we did laundry every night and wore the same clothes each day, which helped us pack light. The large public bath felt clean and also has a water dispenser. There’s almost no view from the open-air bath. Overall, it didn’t feel like a place you go specifically to enjoy the baths.

We stayed for one night as a family. We were most looking forward to the breakfast and dinner buffets. The dining area was spacious and arranged to avoid crowding, and there were plenty of kid-friendly options such as all-you-can-drink alcohol, soft drinks, and ice cream. We also had plenty of time, so we could eat until we were fully satisfied. We enjoyed table tennis right up until check-in, and the front desk service was good (though the older man at the souvenir shop didn’t greet us and seemed unfriendly...). However, the Room air conditioner was an older type, and even on high it didn’t cool down easily, so we slept without wearing yukata.

This was our first trip with three cousins. Since each of us had different things we wanted to do and we planned to eat dinner out, we chose this Hotel. The exterior and front desk feel a bit dated, but once we entered the Room, it had been renovated and was very comfortable. We were on a high floor, and while looking out at the ocean from the balcony, we spotted a sea turtle—so lucky! We had breakfast at the buffet in the neighboring Hotel, and it was excellent. Amazing value for money.

I chose to stay nearby on purpose so I could relax. Overall, I was very satisfied. I think it’s a wonderful, calming Accommodation. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, with local specialties included so we never got bored. The bath was great as well, and I was able to unwind at my leisure. Since the building is old, there were a few areas that caught my attention, and I think an auto-lock would be better for the Room key. Because our meal time was late, there were food crumbs and some moisture on the floor around our seats, which felt unclean and was a bit disappointing. Also, personally, I might feel more comfortable in samue rather than yukata. I’d also like the in-room amenities to be a bit more complete. Despite these comments, I would definitely like to stay again in other areas as well.

I decided to make a last-minute one-night trip to Beppu and made a Reservation the day before. Based on my priorities, I chose this Accommodation after checking the Accommodation Fee and Reviews. Free parking and breakfast included—nothing to complain about. I wasn’t expecting much from breakfast, but it exceeded my expectations in a good way. There was a wide variety of dishes, a drink bar, and everything was delicious. I’m very satisfied. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Beppu.

We stayed as a family of five. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax. There was also a Shuttle Service for sightseeing, which made our trip very worthwhile. We enjoyed the buffet, and everything was delicious. The Hotel staff were also very helpful. We would like to visit again with our family.

I checked in at 3:00 PM and was able to park comfortably. I went straight to the large public bath and enjoyed being the first in—it felt great. The Room was spacious, and the semi-double bed helped me sleep well. The free breakfast was also delicious. I stay here every time I visit Fukuoka.

I stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday and mine. Even though I mistakenly made a Reservation for a twin room instead of a double, they kindly changed it for me. We also received celebratory chocolates, and as always, The Ritz makes me feel elegant every time I visit. The staff and the food were outstanding. I would like to come again next year. Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was our first stay, and we used it as our Accommodation in Namba after the Yoshimoto Shinkigeki show. [Room & Amenities] This time, we stayed in the “Swiss Executive Room King.” The amenities were standard, but the view from the Room was amazing—perhaps because it was on the 32nd floor. Since the Hotel is built above the Nankai Railway terminal, it’s a dream for train lovers. [Staff & Service] The front desk staff were excellent. Hotel parking is a bit pricey at JPY 3,300 since it’s in central Namba, but given how convenient the location is, it didn’t bother us. Also, because we stayed in an executive room, we could use the lounge. It was great to grab a bite before Yoshimoto Shinkigeki. [Onsen / Bath] The bathroom in the Room had a shower-over-bathtub setup. Since it’s an older property, I suppose that’s to be expected—nothing special, just standard. [Facility & Equipment] The Facility does feel dated in places, but as you’d expect from a Swiss Hotel, the clock near the entrance left a strong impression. The next morning (as part of Takashimaya), browsing watches at WatchMaison was also irresistible for watch lovers. We also used the pool—the glass ceiling made it feel wonderfully open and refreshing. [Dining] Dinner was difficult because Yoshimoto Shinkigeki ended around 10:30 p.m., and most nearby restaurants were already closed. Since our family doesn’t drink alcohol, we struggled to find somewhere to eat. However, venues on the 36th floor of the Hotel were open late. We had dinner at Table36—the view was spectacular and everything tasted great. Our daughter loved the view so much that instead of having breakfast on the 33rd floor breakfast venue, we chose to dine on the 36th floor as well. Breakfast there was also excellent. [Overall Satisfaction] Overall, we were very satisfied. We plan to stay here again when sightseeing in Namba. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed here many times back when it was Takimoto Inn, and the Room has been renovated and was very comfortable. I come mainly for Takimoto’s baths, but the indoor bath has also been refurbished, with wonderfully hot water. A luxurious Onsen getaway—I can’t wait to return. Next time, I might try breakfast at the café!

It was my first trip to Wakasa, and I made the booking after watching the weather closely. Part of the first-floor area was under construction, but it was kept clean and left a good impression. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. The view from the window was the sea. Given its age, some signs of wear are understandable. Overall, it felt like a quiet and pleasant Hotel. The meals were plentiful, and I thought they tasted great. Next time, I’d like to stay again when traveling to Mikata Five Lakes with my siblings and their spouses.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was very clean. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had poor water pressure. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again.

An unbelievably low price of 6,000 yen during the Obon holiday period. At this price, you can swallow a few complaints. Best for people who just want something cheap and don’t care about the details. Not suitable for couples or families. - After arriving at the Hotel, we were told we couldn’t use the large public bath. A nearby Onsen was already closed, so we used the Room’s unit bath. Hot water did come out properly. - The Room is old and feels a bit scary. - Breakfast is basically a free add-on: only a little bread, rice, and a small amount of side dishes. The miso soup tasted like it hadn’t been checked. - The staff were pleasant; I just wished the owner would improve things a bit more. It was fine because I stayed with friends. If it had been with family or a partner, the mood would have dropped…

Conveniently located with good access to various spots in Tsukuba City, and surrounded by convenience stores and supermarkets, this Hotel offers great convenience. The front desk staff and other employees were all very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked grilled fish. The guest room was clean; however, it was a bit disappointing that the air conditioning did not work effectively. I would definitely consider staying here again when revisiting Tsukuba.

The breakfast on the website looked delicious, so I stayed with a breakfast-included Plan. Every item was carefully prepared and tasted great. There was a wide variety of dishes, and I was very satisfied with the breakfast. As it is closer to a Business Hotel, there are fewer amenities and Facilities, but the entire Hotel is new and I had a comfortable stay. The only disappointment was the bathtub—the inside felt rough, as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Aside from that, it was a good Accommodation.
