I made a last-minute reservation the day before and stayed here. Although I arrived just in time for check-in, I was warmly welcomed, leaving a very good impression. The amenities were well-equipped, including a washer-dryer with detergent and a stand, which was very convenient for families with children! However, the filter cleaning light turned on quickly, which was concerning. The kitchen area was also fully equipped with plates, cups, and cutlery. Each room had air conditioning, making the stay extremely comfortable. Since the facility is surrounded by nature, there were large spiders and ants around; however, insect repellent was provided. Although this stay was unplanned due to sudden circumstances, I’m glad I chose this accommodation. I would love to stay here again!

The room I stayed in felt outdated overall, and the three-piece unit bathroom was particularly small and inconvenient. However, everything else was clean and well-maintained. The view from the accommodation lived up to its reputation as a "scenic inn," offering stunning sunsets. A sandy beach is just a short walk away, making it ideal for swimming in summer. Guests can enjoy a private open-air bath once for free. There are two options: a cypress bath and a larger-than-usual tub bath; I recommend the tub bath for its size. Although the public bath lacked scenic views, I had it all to myself during my visit, allowing me to relax fully with plenty of space. The meals were exceptional both morning and evening—highly recommended for sashimi or seafood lovers! The spiny lobster sashimi was sweet and incredibly delicious. The next morning's spiny lobster miso soup had rich flavors from the broth and was equally delightful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making this an accommodation I'd love to visit again!

The nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere was wonderful, and I was able to relax. The surrounding streetscape also had a lot of charm. It was a shame that my schedule didn’t allow me to have any meals. I gave it 4 stars because the hallway was dark, and I wish there had been a fan in the changing room.

I stayed with my dog, and we were able to relax together in a spacious area. The staff's response was excellent, and I would like to visit again.

Perhaps due to it being a weekday, there were few guests, and the parking lot had plenty of space. The rain was no issue as there was a roof, which was very helpful. It was also convenient that we could directly access the slope from inside the accommodation. We stayed in a twin room, and the beds were spacious with all necessary amenities well-prepared. When I asked about the location of the ice machine, they kindly brought ice to our room and even provided recommendations for nearby dining options—excellent service overall. The nearby Chinese restaurant they recommended was delicious and very satisfying. The hotel also provided umbrellas when we went out, which was thoughtful. One disappointment was that the large public bath on the 7th floor was for men only. However, I later learned that during times with fewer guests, it could be arranged as a family or women-only bath; I wish this had been mentioned at check-in. For breakfast, we chose a Japanese set meal accompanied by unlimited milk, apple juice, and coffee while enjoying newspapers available on-site—it made for a relaxing morning experience. Since there is no single room, I used a room for three people with a double bed and a semi-double bed for one person. The room was spacious, and the bath and toilet were in separate sections and were clean. There was also a small refrigerator where you can store drinks and food bought at a convenience store within walking distance. I would like to use this Stays again when visiting Kyoto.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Amanohashidate Station, the location was extremely convenient for sightseeing. It was also great to be able to view Amanohashidate from the Room window. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me, and I could relax and enjoy a long soak. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying. In particular, the shabu-shabu meat was outstanding, and it paired perfectly with the citrus-scented ponzu sauce. The steamed white rice had a natural sweetness and was very delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay comfortable. One concern was the smoking environment. Although the guest Rooms are non-smoking, there is a smoking area in the hallway, so cigarette smoke drifted into the Room. As a non-smoker, this was disappointing and was my only complaint. Overall, it was an Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction. It had an authentic Ryokan atmosphere that you can’t experience at a large Hotel, allowing us to fully enjoy our trip.

My son and I had a wonderful stay. The Accommodation owner was very kind, and we felt truly relaxed and able to rest well. The Room was far nicer than you would expect from the exterior, and the thoughtfully arranged space made us want to stay again. However, the bath and toilet were shared, and the toilet being far away was a slight concern. Even so, I think it is an excellent Accommodation. My son also said it became a great memory for him. I was just looking for a cheap accommodation to sleep, so I had no expectations at all. Despite being close to the airport, there was no airplane noise, the room was well-cleaned, and I could use the washing machine freely. The bed was very comfortable for sleeping. At checkout, the cleaning lady said "Take care," which made me feel like I stayed at a small ryokan. Since there were no meals provided, I went to Marushoku to buy bento and side dishes, but later realized there was a frozen food vending machine that would have been convenient to use. This solo trip around Kunisaki Peninsula became a wonderful memory for me. Thank you!

I stayed for 7 nights from May 3. The location was excellent, and the Room was spacious (double room) with a kitchen, a washing machine, and a gas dryer—more than enough for me. The staff were foreigners, but they spoke polite Japanese and were very kind. It was a Hotel I would like to stay at again in the future.

I’ve been making regular Reservations at this beloved Accommodation for about 10 years now. They always welcome me warmly, and the atmosphere is homey and incredibly comfortable. The Accommodation is also clean and well maintained. On top of that, the proprietress and the head chef are both wonderful people. The Onsen uses pure natural spring water, so the quality is excellent—it warms you to the core and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. And above all, the food is simply outstanding. Each dish is brought out freshly prepared, so everything is served hot. You can really feel the care in every detail—beautifully presented with refined flavors. Everything is delicious, but I was especially amazed by the breakfast miso soup. Personally, it was the best I’ve ever had! In every way, satisfaction here is consistently high—an Accommodation that makes you want to come back right away. I’ll be making another Reservation soon. Please take good care of yourselves—I’m looking forward to seeing you again next time.

This is a very clean Hotel. Popular, highly rated restaurants nearby can get crowded, so we recommend making a Reservation. There is a convenience store nearby, so you won’t have any trouble. The TV is a smart TV with YouTube and Amazon Prime (with membership), so you’ll have plenty to watch.

The reception staff and housekeeping were all very pleasant, and the Room was clean and comfortable, allowing for a quiet stay. It is close to the station, with a supermarket, market, and convenience store nearby. Even during the Nebuta season, it was only about a 15-minute walk to the venue—an excellent location overall. I’m glad I stayed here.

Spacious room, thorough cleaning, delicious meals, and the staff maintained a good sense of distance, which I appreciated. I thought it would be nice if the room had a brighter (even with bright lighting) area. However, it was very difficult to get into the bathtub. I am 160 cm tall, which I think is average, but even so, I was afraid my feet might get caught. I only got used to it during my Multiple Night Stay. It might be impossible, but could you somehow make it easier to get in? That was the only disappointment.

A stylish architect-designed Hotel in Naka-Karuizawa. As it is a wooden building, you should not expect strong soundproofing, but it may actually be a good fit for those who want to feel close to nature. It was disappointing that Buildings 1, 2, and 3 are on separate plots, so you need to walk along the sidewalk of the main road. The restaurant serves excellent food and is well worth trying. Since the Room’s shower area is inside the bedroom, I felt a glass partition would be better than a curtain. This Hotel has well-equipped shared spaces; guests who don’t mind other visitors around will enjoy it. There are many negative Reviews, but personally I think it was more than acceptable. I would like to stay again.

I have been using it frequently, but since around last year, possibly due to SDGs initiatives, the amenities have become less luxurious. It might appeal to environmentally conscious individuals, but for regular guests, it just feels like a downgrade in the Hotel's quality.

I had been wanting to stay at this highly rated Hotel for some time. In addition to the design, the restaurant and room service were excellent, and the Hotel’s facilities were well maintained, so I was very satisfied. Being able to enjoy records was also a great added value. Thank you very much.

Upon arriving at the Hotel lobby, I was greeted warmly and assisted in Japanese right away, which made me feel at ease. Most of the other guests were from overseas, and I didn’t hear anyone speaking Japanese during my stay. The Room was still quite new, so it felt clean and spacious. I also appreciated the height of the sink. It would be even better if the price were a bit lower.
