From the hostess’s warm welcome to the stunning third-floor Room and terrace with exceptional views. The Room has windows on three sides. Open the door and you’re greeted by a view of Cape Shionomisaki. A terrace where you can enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Every dish was delicious—we ordered two servings each of the meat course and the fish course, and ended up overeating. I was a bit surprised that access to the Room was via an outdoor staircase I hadn’t expected, but once you come down the stairs, Cape Shionomisaki is right in front of you. If it had been raining, getting around might have been tough, but luckily the rain from the previous day had cleared, temperatures rose, and my mood soared too. The bath is not an Onsen, but while it shows its age, it was clean and felt well maintained. Another thing I loved was the “duvet cover.” It felt so nice that I want to find one for home—I wish I’d asked what brand it was. The Room itself was so comfortable, and it was great to just zone out while gently swaying in the hammock.

I stayed for one night on a work-related trip. Because I’m sensitive and not very comfortable with the distinctive atmosphere of Hotels, I was looking for a guesthouse and found this Accommodation. It had a homey feel, I could take a bath, and the breakfast was delicious, so I had a very meaningful night. It’s a bit far from central Nagoya, but the Accommodation Fee is low and it was relaxing, so I’d like to stay again when I visit Nagoya. Depending on the Room, the toilet and bath are shared, so as long as you keep that in mind, it’s extremely comfortable.

This is the Hotel where I stayed after having to find a place on short notice. Since I had work early the next morning, I checked in late, but they welcomed me warmly. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again!

The best points were that there were five parking spaces right in front of the Hotel available for 700 yen per day, it was close to the station, and the Room was spacious. A few disappointing points were that there was no power outlet by the pillow, there was no bidet toilet seat, and I would have liked coffee (green tea was provided). Overall, it is an older Hotel, but it felt clean and I could stay at a reasonable price, so I had a good impression.

I stayed here during a solo trip. It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it was a lovely space—clean, calm, and comfortable. The staff in the shared area chatted with me a lot, which made me really happy. It’s my best memory from the trip. I’ll be back. Thank you!

I had the privilege of spending New Year's for the first time at Kinjohro, one of Kanazawa's most renowned ryokan. With my mother being from Kanazawa and having spent six years studying in this city myself, it had always been a dream to welcome the New Year at Kinjohro. However, I hesitated for a long time, feeling that such a prestigious and traditional ryokan might be beyond my reach. This year, I finally had the opportunity to visit Kanazawa with my son and fulfill this long-held dream. The elegant architecture, refined furnishings harmonizing sophistication and grace, exquisite Kutani ware and Kaga Yuzen kimonos—everything exuded timeless beauty. The traditional Kaga cuisine featuring local specialties like yellowtail fish, crab, duck dishes such as kamo-jibu stew prepared with care using authentic ingredients—and even the osechi New Year’s feast—were simply exceptional. The room and bath filled with the soothing scent of cypress wood added to an unforgettable experience. Above all else was the heartfelt hospitality provided by staff who embody over 130 years of tradition in this historic city of Kanazawa. It felt as though we were transported back in time to experience the grandeur of Kaga Hyakumangoku culture. On New Year's morning after enjoying osechi cuisine, we joined other guests along with the owner, proprietress (okami), head chef, staff members and their families for a mochi-pounding event at the entrance. The friendly atmosphere shared among everyone under glimpses of blue sky through clouds made it truly special—the taste of kinako-coated mochi will remain etched in our memories alongside our stay at Kinjohro. We found this Accommodation while looking for a place where six people across three generations could stay, as we had plans nearby the next day. We requested a change to our Reservation right before our stay, and they handled it quickly and courteously, which was a huge help. First of all, the location—within walking distance of the Bikan Historical Quarter—was excellent. We checked in early and used the Accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing. On the day we stayed, the surrounding roads were congested and nearby parking lots seemed to be full, so we especially appreciated how convenient this location was. For dinner and breakfast, we brought back takeout from the Bikan area and groceries from a supermarket and ate at the Accommodation. There were plenty of easy options even with kids—pizza, yakitori, deli foods, croquettes, etc. There were also enough dishes and cooking utensils provided, so cooking was stress-free. The complimentary kuromame (black soybean) coffee was delicious too. The interior is a comfortable traditional house; while spending time on the first floor, we hardly noticed any outside noise. Mosquito-repellent items were also provided, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. The lighting was slightly dim for our taste, so we moved one of the upstairs lights downstairs to use it there. The bathroom has been renovated and is as easy to use as a typical apartment bath unit. With two toilets and two faucets at the sink area, even our large group could stay comfortably without inconvenience. The only thing that stood out was that when sleeping upstairs, we could hear cars passing on the road in front more than expected. Because of that I wouldn’t say we slept soundly through the night. Earplugs were provided—I assume this is why—and it might have been quieter if we had slept downstairs. In addition to that: an umbrella stand with spare umbrellas for rainy days; air conditioning already running when we arrived; plastic wrap; coffee with a grinder—everything you’d be happy to have was thoughtfully prepared. It was an Accommodation where you can truly feel attentive hospitality throughout your stay.

The moment we opened the front door, the view that greeted us felt like a scene from abroad. The location was even better than the website, and we were truly impressed. On the way back, the Aqua-Line was closed due to an accident, so we took the Tokyo Bay Ferry from Kanaya to Kurihama instead. The ferry was comfortable too, and it made us feel as if we’d gone on an overseas trip with our dog. The toothbrush came with toothpaste already on it, so next time we’ll bring our own toothpaste. Since the bath doesn’t have a reheating function, you need to get in soon after filling it.

Satisfied with the proximity to the station and the convenience stores around. The children were thrilled with the bunk beds. We were able to spend a relaxing time!

I often stay here when I’m on business in Osaka. It’s in a very convenient location, directly connected to Umeda Station via the underground mall. The Room is compact but new and clean, making it comfortable to stay in. There are many international tourists, but I’ve never been bothered by noise from neighboring Rooms. The bathroom has only a shower booth. The Room feels well designed to make the most of the limited space. Many Rooms face the street, so it doesn’t feel closed in. It would be even better if there were a desk suitable for working. There is no complimentary bottled water; instead, there is a water dispenser in the first-floor lobby.

Simple yet comfortable rooms, many of which have separate bathrooms and washbasins. Although there are no windows, the lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a space on the floor where you can enjoy tea and unwind. Breakfast is served in two shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with each shift lasting 30 minutes, which was surprising. It would have been helpful if this detail was clearly explained during the Reservation process. However, since there seemed to be plenty of seating available, we were not rushed even after the designated time had passed. Still, it made for a slightly hurried morning. The location is excellent with many tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

Conveniently located near the station. The front desk staff were courteous, and I appreciated the calm atmosphere. The room was also clean. I didn’t have breakfast because I had an early morning, but I’ve had lunch here before and it was delicious, so next time I’d like to stay with breakfast included.

It was very comfortable, with the station and restaurants nearby and a microwave in the room. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

Thank you very much for your flexible support. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. We were able to rent a yukata for our dog—something she rarely gets to wear—and took some adorable photos. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Because our stay was on a tight schedule, we couldn’t go fishing this time, but our dog happily ran around in the spacious dog run, and we were very satisfied with our stay at this Accommodation. When we visit Nanyo or Shirataka again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

I made a Reservation without realizing it was in an entertainment district. I wondered if it would be noisy, but it wasn’t a problem at all. However, to use the large public bath, you have to walk through the entertainment district to another building, so some people may not like that. Maybe because it’s a busy area, I almost couldn’t find coin parking at 9:00 PM. By chance there was one spot available, and I could park for the low price of 600 yen for 24 hours, but it was about a 5–6 minute walk from the Hotel. It was a No Meals Included Reservation, but there is a free light snack service: you can get two small rolls per person in a bag at the front desk. Hot coffee was also available. It seems to vary by day. The Room looked like it had just been renovated—it was very clean. Separate bath and toilet, electric kettle, microwave, and a large-screen TV. The mini fridge needs to be switched on before use. It seems like the Room is meant for up to four people, but since the beds are semi-double size, I wished they allowed up to six guests as well.

It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I chose this place for the location, price, and villa-style setup, and it was excellent. Having a washing machine and detergent provided was truly appreciated! There’s also a water tap near the entrance, which was helpful for rinsing off dirt. I was looking forward to breakfast as well since it’s a sister restaurant of a famous spot! You choose from a set menu, and everything was delicious. It also comes with a drink bar and soup bar. It made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful place. It made me want to visit Nayoro again just to stay here. Convenience stores aren’t too far away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I highly recommend it!

Located just steps from the JR railway station, the property offers a slightly retro charm and stunning sea views from the top floor on the 5th level. However, it is regrettable that payment methods are still limited to cash or credit card only.

I have stayed here several times. It is a clean Hotel with delicious breakfast. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby.

The smoking-friendly Room was perfect for smokers. Being a corner Room, the breeze was pleasantly refreshing, showcasing the unique warm climate of this area.
