We stayed here after visiting Universal Studios Japan. 4 adults: 69,000 yen. No BBQ, breakfast only. Since the park was open past 10 pm, we arrived at 11 pm and basically just slept. The place was spacious and the heating was warm (there were three heaters, but we only needed one). It was also nice to have two sinks. A few small issues: we found hair on the bedding in two spots, and although there were four adults, there were only three coffee packets provided. (There were about ten packets of sugar and creamer… compared to just three coffees.) I also wish there had been tea bags. Not everyone drinks coffee, so it would be nice to have a drink option for both morning and night. As for breakfast, the hamburger was very filling—honestly a bit too heavy for older guests. Also, some people can’t eat meat, so it would be great to have non-meat options. The juice choice was apple juice only. Maybe because of the heating, the futons felt quite thin. We brought our own blankets, so it worked out. It was pitch-dark at night, but when we woke up in the morning, the view was beautiful. Overall we were satisfied. It felt like a waste to stay somewhere this nice just to sleep—next time we’d like to try the BBQ as well. Thank you very much.

I often stay here during ski season. In Kannabe, dinner usually means a variety of hot pots, but here you can choose the proprietress’s chef’s-choice dinner. It’s outstanding—each time I stay the menu changes, and everything is incredibly delicious with generous portions. The price is also reasonable, so there’s nothing to complain about. Also, the hair dryer introduced this year is Panasonic’s top-of-the-line model—so good it brings back shine and softness to your hair. The futons are high quality and clean.

This was my first time staying at an Accommodation at Zenkoji Temple. The Buddhist vegetarian cuisine was delicious, the Room was spacious and well equipped with amenities, and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I also joined the Zenkoji morning worship tour the next day; the explanations were very thorough, and I could truly feel their deep devotion to faith in Zenkoji. It was a wonderful stay and worship experience.

I stayed here to attend an event with an early-morning departure. The front desk staff were easygoing and kind. The Room and bed were spacious, and the deep bathtub—rare these days—was especially comfortable. There’s also a large supermarket and a coin laundry nearby, which is very convenient! I’d like to stay again next time.

I stayed here for the first time on a business trip. It was nice that it was close enough to walk from the station. The welcome drink? I could also have alcohol, and it was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The bath was clean as well. However, since there is only one bath that alternates between men’s and women’s use, it was a bit inconvenient having to plan my bathing time around the schedule. Other than that, the Room was clean and I am satisfied. Thank you very much.

I got caught in a sudden rain shower before check-in and my clothes were soaked, but the front desk staff noticed right away and brought me a towel first. Everyone, including the housekeeping staff, greeted me politely and provided attentive service. The in-room pillows are on the firmer side, so if that’s not for you, it’s a good idea to borrow a pillow that suits your preference from in front of the front desk. I also appreciated being able to get plenty of vegetables at breakfast.

The price was reasonable, the night view from the Room was amazing, and the large Onsen bath was great, so we were very satisfied. Breakfast used local ingredients and tasted excellent—no complaints at all. The entrance and exit to the underground parking are a bit narrow, so those who aren’t confident drivers should be careful.

After seeing this on TikTok, we booked a weekday stay for three with the “Bountiful Boat Platter of Spiny Lobster, Flounder, and Abalone <1 night with 2 meals>” plan. Before dinner, we enjoyed the Onsen bath. The water was silky and pleasantly thick—better than expected and very relaxing. Then came the highlight: dinner with the boat platter. It was truly impressive in both presentation and taste. Of course, it featured spiny lobster and flounder as the main items, but it was also a well-crafted course with thoughtful touches such as juvenile fish and deep-fried fish scales. That said, the portions were huge, so we did start to tire of sashimi a bit. Since there were also sashimi options like bonito, spiny lobster, and flounder, we felt ponzu sauce or yuzu pepper would have made it even better. Amenities included only a toothbrush and face towel, so we rated that 4 stars; however, at this price point—and as a Ryokan—we were satisfied overall. As for the Facility features: the foldable hair dryer wobbled at the hinge while in use and was difficult to handle, so we rated that 4 stars. Still, although some parts are old, it’s clear everything is kept clean and well maintained. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

Stayed one night during Golden Week. Much better than the major Hotel we stayed at the previous day. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen seemed medicinal. There is a designated smoking area on the premises, available 24 hours a day. Dog crates are available for loan, and pet amenities are well provided.

The dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and the view was wonderful. The Room was very spacious, and I loved the interior design—it was lovely. The washroom is large, with plenty of counter space to place clothes and other items, making it very convenient. Even though it was a weekday, we were lucky to be able to see fireworks. I highly recommend this place.

I stayed in a twin Room with my wife for our son’s graduation and move. In addition to the unit bath, there was also a separate washbasin area, so we didn’t waste time waiting for each other during morning showers and could both make good use of our busy mornings. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

As it was right in the rainy season, the bed sheets, mattress pad, and duvet all felt damp. I turned on the dehumidifier, ran the air purifier, and even used a hair dryer to dry them, but it still felt hopeless. I asked the front desk for a dry bath towel and slept on top of that. All of the staff were very kind, and breakfast was delicious. The location was also great—everything was good except for sleeping.

We stayed here while visiting Gunma Flower Park, Tonton Plaza, and Mt. Akagi. Unlike Ikaho, the area is not crowded and is quiet, right in front of the Tone River. Dinner was plentiful; after a drink we were full and slept soundly. The bath was also great.

At first, the building’s age made me wonder if it might be a letdown, but everything was very clean, the food was delicious, and the service was courteous. I was very satisfied. I’d like to stay again when I’m in the area.

I found this Accommodation and made a Reservation the day before my stay. I loved the atmosphere, and headed to Yatsugatake with no Plan, hoping to relax. When I arrived, the owner was out walking the dogs, which immediately put me at ease. Once inside, his friendly wife welcomed me warmly, and I felt comfortable right away. Every dish at dinner had a gentle, natural flavor, and the portions were generous. Breakfast was a salad full of fresh highland vegetables. The bread was delicious too. Even though it was just a last-minute one-night stay, it turned into exactly the trip I’d hoped for—rich and fulfilling. Since I had no Plan, I really appreciated all their helpful suggestions about nearby sights. I wanted to see Yatsugatake’s starry night sky, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. The owner showed me stunning photos he had taken while hiking—truly breathtaking. I was amazed that the Milky Way could be that beautiful. They were precious photos. At night, surrounded by nature, I slept very comfortably. When it was time to leave, both dogs came out to see me off, and we even took photos together—I’ll treasure them. This was a special Accommodation that I would absolutely love to stay at again! Thank you very much!

A retro Hotel with an impressive train diorama. The separate bath area allowed for a relaxing and leisurely experience, and the mountain view from the guest room was wonderful. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including unlimited yogurt, which was very satisfying. When I asked for ice at the front desk, they provided it in a plastic bag, but having an ice bucket would have been nice. It was conveniently close to Ryusendo Cave, making for a great trip overall.

It was a very beautiful place! We stayed in Villa 2, but we couldn’t figure out where it was even with the map… When we went to reception, a very kind woman helped us and showed us the way. We were looking forward to the private Onsen, but we were told that since the villa has its own bath, we couldn’t use the Onsen… We were very disappointed. I’m giving it 4 stars in hopes that they will clearly state that the entrance and parking lot are further inside so anyone can find them easily. The room was of course clean, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. Next time, I’d love to take a walk down to the sea too!

Less than a 2-minute walk from Miyakonojo Station, and in a great location close enough to walk to AEON as well! I drove, and the parking lot was very spacious and easy to park in. The front desk is on the first floor, and all the staff were very kind. The Room’s bath and toilet looked newly renovated and were clean, with an overall fresh and spotless feel. Maybe because I tend to get hot easily, but the air conditioning felt a bit weak. Amenities are placed in front of the elevator, so you can pick up what you need before heading to your Room. The glass elevator felt humid (maybe because it was summer), but it was nice being able to see the view toward Miyakonojo Station. What made me happiest was having a mirror and chair that could be used as a vanity. Since many guests seem to be men, some business Hotels don’t have mirrors outside of the sink area, so I really appreciated it. There are plenty of izakayas nearby, a 7-Eleven within walking distance, and there was also a restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Miyakonojo.

Although it’s called a Hotel, the system felt more like a whole-building vacation rental—for example, you take the key out from a dial lock in front of the Room. [Location] It’s about 15 minutes to the center of Minami, so it’s not bad but not great either. If you walk from the Minami area through the underground mall (Namba Walk), there’s a large supermarket on the way, which makes it easy to pick up late-night snacks or breakfast and head back without much inconvenience. The nearest convenience store (Lawson) is also close. OCAT is nearby as well, which was very convenient for me as an Itami Airport user. [Facilities Overall] We used a family Room. There isn’t a kitchen like many vacation rentals have, but there is a microwave. Even at night, it stays bright outside due to lighting, and since the curtains are not blackout curtains, depending on the person and season it may affect how easily you fall asleep or wake up. An eye mask might be helpful. Amenities are well stocked. We had a Multiple Night Stay; when we hung out the cleaning request sign, they replaced towels and replenished amenities. Trash is basically disposed of in the hallway trash bins. [Beds] A single bed listed on their website wasn’t shown in photos, so I didn’t know where it would be until arrival. There was a dead-end-like space extending along the window from the table by the window, and that’s where it was placed. Since it’s a narrow space enclosed on three sides, some people might actually find it cozy. The mattress firmness is average. There are power outlets near all beds, so charging phones etc. is easy. [Bath/Toilet] They are properly separated into different rooms. The bath area is small but acceptable. The changing area is also separate. I felt there was slight odor coming up from the drain at times, but it wasn’t bothersome. [Service] When I contacted them by email with questions, they responded quickly and politely. However, I didn’t stop by reception on check-in day, so I can’t comment on front desk service in person.

I contacted you several times by email, and your responses were excellent. When I reached out thinking I might have left something behind, you handled it politely, and I truly appreciate it. It said to use the self check-in machine, so I tried it, but it asked for my passport. I was confused and ended up being assisted at the counter. I wondered if this could have been done at the counter from the beginning. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, towels and other items were prepared on the door handle for one day. However, although two of us were staying, there was only enough for one person—was that standard? The location was great, so I would like to stay again. Thank you very much for your help.
