I made a Reservation because this Accommodation was reasonably priced and fairly close for sightseeing in Karuizawa. On arrival, there was welcome coffee from Mikado Coffee, and amenities were provided as well. Please note that pajamas are not provided. The Room was spacious and even had two TVs. I was also happy to find Mikado Coffee drip packs in the Room. A few things stood out: the Room felt a bit dated, I would have preferred newer slippers, and I saw a small ant while taking a bath—so it would be great if there were screens or something similar (it wasn’t so bad that it ruined the stay). That said, the breakfast included was very luxurious and exceeded the price! Since Karuizawa has stylish cafes, I think it would be nice to have a No Meals Included Plan as well. Thank you for your courteous assistance with parking and for contacting me about an item I left behind.

Booked a great-value room at the last minute. There is an Onsen, free tea in the lobby, and all the staff were very helpful. They also introduced us to the stone-paved streets of Ochiai, which made our trip very fulfilling. Thank you.

The front desk staff were kind and helpful.

- The Facility was still very clean and well maintained, with effective air conditioning, so it was comfortable. - Heart Rock and Tokei Beach were just a short drive away, which was convenient. - The staff were kind and lent us packing tape for the cardboard box we needed to ship our luggage home, responding helpfully without any fuss. - Since there were five adults and three children, we rented two buildings; we appreciated that you arranged the Rooms to be facing each other. - The road leading up to the property is unpaved, and with the rain our rental car got covered in mud. - There was no dining table in the dining area, which made meals inconvenient. It would also be nice to have at least some basic seasonings. - We stayed for three nights and four days. Unfortunately it rained every day so the trip was a bit disappointing, but we still managed to swim in the ocean one day and have one BBQ as well. From the BBQ area we could even catch a glimpse of the sun setting despite the cloudy sky. I think it would have been much more comfortable in clear weather, so I’d like to come back again next time for a retry. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money.

We stayed here during our trip to Hida with our 2-year-old child. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful time. - The ryokan is old but well-cleaned and maintained, offering a charming and atmospheric room. - The private bath can be used freely when available, which is very convenient for families with small children or elderly members. - Dinner was served in the room as part of the plan, allowing us to enjoy it at our own pace. Each dish was carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. - The location is excellent, with attractions like Hida no Sato, museums, and furniture shops nearby—perfect for sightseeing purposes. - Lastly, the owner and staff were incredibly hospitable, making our stay truly pleasant. We would love to stay here again if we visit the area in the future!

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan, and everything about the stay was perfectly fine, but I was especially impressed by the excellent service from the woman at the front desk. If I have another opportunity, I think I will stay here again—thank you in advance for your kind assistance at that time.

The locally caught fish dishes were very delicious. Since it wasn’t buffet-style, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The open-air bath had a milky white sulfur spring, with a great atmosphere, and it warmed us up thoroughly. It’s far even from Aomori, but it’s a hidden gem.

Everyone at the Ryokan, especially the proprietress, welcomed us with such warmth and thoughtful attention that we felt truly happy throughout our stay. The Accommodation itself is old, rich with history and stories, and you can really feel how lovingly it has been cared for over the years. The Onsen water was soft and silky, gently enveloping you and soothing every ache and fatigue. The meals were exceptionally delicious—each dish carefully prepared—and nourishing for both body and soul. We were deeply impressed. Even the plain white rice had a mysterious charm that stayed delicious to the very last bite. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I heard that a colleague from work was staying here, so I decided to stay as well with a separate reservation. From check-in to breakfast and departure, the staff were very pleasant, and the stay was comfortable. We opted for a plan with breakfast included, and the freshly cooked rice and side dishes made for an excellent meal. Since there are few dining options in Fukudamura, staying with a dinner barbecue plan also seems like it would be enjoyable.

I stayed in the capsule-style Facility area. It was a weekday so it wasn’t crowded, and the facilities were good. There is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself, and both the washing machine and dryer are free to use. Amenities are provided as well. There is no bath, only showers, but they are practical. It’s located along the Kanazawa Ring Road (mountain side), so access is convenient. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance next time.

The dinner was impressively elaborate. It was incredibly delicious, and I believe staying here was worth it just for the meal.

It was a full moon night, and it was very quiet—yet not lonely at all. I took a short walk in the evening, and the beautiful streetscape made my stay truly pleasant. I could even walk to the shrine I had wanted to visit, which made this one of my most wonderful trips to Kyoto. Thank you very much.

Despite my last-minute Reservation during the off-season, you responded with great care. I believe I was the only guest, but both the Room and the bath were very comfortable. Having a washbasin in the Room was convenient.

With no plans for the Obon holidays, I was browsing various Ryokan websites just to get in the travel mood when... By chance, I found Sagiri-so’s last-minute deal and booked immediately because it was such a great bargain. Since it was so affordable, I didn’t expect much, but... The Room was more than satisfactory! (The futons were already laid out.) The bath temperature was just right! (The morning bath was amazing too.) Dinner was pork shabu-shabu! (I was so full that I even canceled the soba—there was more than enough food.) Breakfast was buffet-style, and everything I tried was delicious. Above all, the staff at the Ryokan were wonderful with their warm smiles! Five stars isn’t enough for their service lol. Next time, I’d love to enjoy the jingisukan. Our whole family was satisfied and we really enjoyed sightseeing in Nagano. Thank you very much.

The Room was kept clean, and we were able to stay comfortably. We stayed during a typhoon, but the building was sturdy, so we could rest without any worries. With a convenience store on the first floor, we didn’t find it inconvenient that there was no restaurant.

With a bus stop right in front, it was convenient for getting anywhere. It was also helpful that shopping at A-Coop and dining out were both within walking distance. The staff were very kind and pleasant. There is a large public bath, and there was also a cold plunge pool for the sauna, so I could cool my tired legs after Jomon Sugi and take good care of them. I found this Facility as a pet-friendly option in the Suwa–Matsumoto area that seemed easy to use and reasonably priced. As you make your way through a maze-like residential neighborhood, the space suddenly opens up and you’ll find the Facility there. The Room is small but unique and comfortable, truly living up to its name as a “secret base you can stay in.” The Room is kept very clean, with amenities and supplies well provided. Despite its size, it’s arranged so you can move efficiently and relax with ease. It was a great example of how to make the most of a compact Room.

The facility was operated by a young male and female staff on that day, so I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was surprisingly delicious. The open-air bath offers a view of a birch tree grove, and the lukewarm water allows for a relaxing long soak. Great value for money, and I would love to visit again.

I had a very comfortable stay—thank you. The room was thoroughly cleaned and pleasant, and the staff were kind and helpful. Just one thing: there is no clock in the sauna, so it’s hard to tell how long you’ve been inside, which could be a bit unsafe.
