I stayed from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day to see the first sunrise of the year. The location was excellent, with a stunning ocean view right in front. While some of the facilities showed signs of age, the accommodation overall was clean and well-maintained. As for meals, they were hearty and absolutely delicious, living up to the reputation of this accommodation. The food was so good that it made me want more rice! However, I recommend avoiding snacks before meals as you might not be able to fully enjoy such a wonderful feast if you're too full. I would love to stay here again not only during New Year but also in summer!

We had a wonderful auberge experience exactly as we’d imagined, and we were very satisfied. Thoughts on the triple Room (not mentioned in other Review): - The tabletop mirror prepared on the desk—also useful as an accessory tray—was extremely convenient for the three of us traveling together to get ready. - The toilet floor was tiled with a drain, and it felt exceptionally clean. - The loungewear wasn’t overly softened with fabric softener and felt smooth and comfortable. I think even those who dislike fragrances could wear it. - We stayed in February, and the sheets were pleasantly soft and slightly moist to the touch. Perhaps thanks to the mattress pad, nothing shifted at all, so we didn’t need to readjust the bedding until morning. Among Resort Hotels on Okinawa’s main island, Business Hotels, and long-established sightseeing hotels back home (in another prefecture) that we’ve used in recent years, this was our favorite. Ryukyu Ganebu wine and the cuisine, a charming Room, and warm hospitality—it was a truly lovely experience that felt like being shown one by one the treasures gained through all the challenges and adventures the owner couple have accomplished so far. I’m glad we chose “Tears” as our first wine toast with our daughters who have only recently become adults. It has become a precious wine tied to special memories, and we’re really looking forward to returning someday to toast here again. I had pain in my shoulders and lower back, and even daily life felt difficult—I was extremely stressed. The Facility feels a bit old, which can’t really be helped, but the Onsen was excellent. The baths were never crowded, and I didn’t run into other guests at all. I’d like to stay again, though it may be hard to get a Reservation.

We stayed here with five women for an offline meetup. This Accommodation truly offers thoughtful, attentive hospitality. The kitchen and refrigerator are spacious, the Facility is well equipped, and everything feels very clean. We enjoyed easily cooking the ingredients we brought and choosing our own “personal” mug from the cute set with 12 monthly designs. We had a wonderful time. The bathroom and changing area are also large and easy to use, and even the hair dryer and shower head are beauty-focused items. With plenty of mirrors and sinks, it was especially convenient for a group of women. When one of our group started feeling unwell, they kindly brought a thermometer and cooling gel sheets right away despite it being early in the morning. (She recovered quickly!) If we have another gathering in Nagoya, we would definitely like to stay here again.

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The facility was quiet, possibly due to the good manners of the guests. It felt like a great facility.

Tucked away in a small forest in the rolling hills of Hokkaido, this Accommodation stands all on its own. It features a beautiful exterior and a spacious garden with an English-style landscape. From the large windows of the wood-scented guest rooms, you can take in both the garden and the starry sky. Through the windows of the open-ceiling dining room, we were thrilled to see Ezo squirrels come by for a meal! Above all, the food was absolutely outstanding. It made us think deeply about food and was truly educational as well. The carefully chosen background music softly playing from BOSE speakers matched our taste perfectly and made for a wonderful time. When it’s time to light the wood-burning stove in the dining room, we want to come back again. Honestly, this is an Accommodation we’d like to keep secret—but we hope many others can share this same happiness! We’re also grateful to the wonderful owner couple.

Just a 1-minute walk with direct access to a beautiful beach. Although there were many other guests, it was very quiet, perhaps because the Rooms were spaced apart. The bath was a pleasant surprise: a spacious jacuzzi.

Stayed during the Obon holiday period. A budget Ryokan with no meals. I didn’t expect much, but it was surprisingly good. The private Beppu Onsen bath is available in 1-hour slots, so you can relax and take your time. The temperature was just right. If you like a charming Onsen Ryokan with a traditional atmosphere, you’ll want to come back. The female front desk staff greeted us with a smile and made a great impression. There’s also a large department store and convenience stores nearby, so you can shop on foot and won’t have to worry about meals.

I contacted the property as I was unlikely to make it in time for check-in, and received a very pleasant response over the phone. The Room was more spacious than expected, and having separate toilet and bath facilities was a plus. With a market and convenience store nearby, it was convenient for dining. I had a relaxing stay. I chose this Accommodation based only on the cost and Reviews, but the Onsen and meals were excellent.

I had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I’d like to take my time and enjoy meals as well.

Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, and the open-air bath in the Room was just the right size. The staff kindly shared information about nearby sightseeing spots, making our stay truly pleasant. I was especially surprised by how amazing the apple pie served as dessert at dinner was—I would have ordered another if I’d had a bit more room. Still, the dinner portions were perfectly filling and very satisfying. I want everyone to try it. The Shuttle Service from Futo Station was also a great help. At night, the road to the convenience store is quite dark, so I would have been happy if drinks and snacks were available for purchase in the Room. With only a few Rooms, we received attentive service, and this has become an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

This was our first time staying here. The owner was very kind and attentive. There was a hidden door that the kids enjoyed searching for, and they seemed to love the shower, having fun while using it. The space is spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably, and we were very satisfied. We would love to stay here again when we visit Kyoto. Thank you so much!

It was a traditional Ryokan with a sense of history. The hinoki wood bath was also excellent.

The building may be old, but it was kept clean. The open-air bath had a wild and natural feel, offering an extraordinary experience that was very enjoyable. The Room was spacious as well. Above all, we appreciated the thoughtful efforts to make our stay pleasant. It was also nice that rice and miso soup were self-serve with unlimited refills. We would love to visit again!

This is a wonderful Accommodation where you can relax and enjoy dinner while listening to jazz. The host and his wife were very welcoming, and we had a truly comfortable stay. Everything at dinner was delicious, and the Akitakomachi rice balls at breakfast were outstanding. We would definitely love to stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The meals—especially dinner—were very generous, so the late-night snacks and sweets we bought weren’t necessary. We also enjoyed the starry sky from the terrace (though we didn’t see any shooting stars this time). On the first day, there happened to be a nearby festival, and we could even watch fireworks. This was our first time enjoying a private beach; it was almost like having it all to ourselves. We borrowed an SUP and fully enjoyed swimming in the sea as well. We didn’t have enough time—haha. We stayed here for a surf trip as a parent and child. This was our third time staying. We usually choose a Japanese-style Room, but this time we splurged on a Japanese-Western style Room. It had three spacious rooms and a large bath, which completely washed away our surfing fatigue. The bedroom even had an amazing massage chair! The Facility itself has a slightly retro feel, but the kindness of the staff more than makes up for it.

I visited for a stay after skiing at Hoonoki-daira Ski Resort. The open-air cypress bath made by the owner's father was very pleasant, and I enjoyed it twice, at night and in the morning. I really liked the temperature of the water, its size, and the view. The food was also very delicious, and we ended up drinking too much sake, but both my wife and I were very satisfied. With skiing, onsen, and delicious meals, this is a property I definitely want to visit again.
