In the heart of Higashi Chaya District, this Accommodation lets you stay as if living in a Kanazawa machiya townhouse, and it remains one of the most memorable Hotels I have ever stayed in. As soon as you step inside, the gentle scent of wood fills the air and naturally calms you. While preserving the charm of an old machiya, the interior has been refined into a modern, sophisticated space, and my stay was comfortable from start to finish. The passage garden leading from the entrance to the living room reinterprets a traditional machiya layout as a contemporary art gallery, creating a distinctive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. With part of one living-room wall opened up, it retains that classic machiya serenity while adding just the right sense of openness. On the first floor, warmth from natural wood is balanced beautifully with a palette of brown, white, cream, and black. Everything—from pendant lights to furniture and small details—has been carefully chosen for a cohesive look that shows great taste down to every corner. The table in particular stood out: its texture evoked Noto washi paper and kurikawa-zome (chestnut husk dyeing), and it felt like local culture and craftsmanship were seamlessly woven into the space. The bath and wash area are modern and spotless in crisp black-and-white tones, and even the scent of Aesop hand soap and bath amenities was wonderfully soothing. Upstairs retains even more of the original wooden character of a machiya, offering a different kind of quiet calm. The bedroom lighting—soft like moonlight—was especially memorable and perfectly suited to the mood. Another unique highlight is being able to whisk matcha in your room. The tea kettle, bowls, and other tools are thoughtfully selected; using vessels that reflect Kanazawa- and Noto-area traditional crafts made preparing matcha yourself feel truly special. With clear instructions provided, it’s easy to enjoy even for first-timers. Unlike having tea at a tourist spot, making matcha in this quiet machiya setting felt deeply relaxing. Open the windows and you can sense both the stillness of this teahouse district and hints of local daily life beyond it. Rather than simply visiting as a tourist, being able to blend into the neighborhood is an experience that’s hard to find at an ordinary Hotel. Breakfast was at Miso Soup Club just a short walk away; I enjoyed a nourishing Japanese breakfast with hearty miso soup packed with ingredients along with egg over rice (tamago kake gohan) and small side dishes. This is an Accommodation I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to savor Kanazawa’s culture, craftsmanship—and unhurried quiet time—with care.

We stayed here for a two-night trip to Sapporo. Since it’s an entire house rental with plenty of Rooms, it should work well even for trips with multiple groups. The Facility is new, and both the building and appliances were extremely clean. With a layout like a luxury vacation home, it also seems ideal for longer stays. And the sauna is outstanding. It’s equipped to the same level as a private commercial sauna, and we were very satisfied. There’s also a balcony for outdoor cooling and an open-air bath, with perfect flow between them. (Of course, it isn’t visible from outside.) It’s about 15 minutes by taxi from central Sapporo, so you can enjoy quiet nights. With Vacation Rentals, communication with the manager often takes time, but they replied quickly even when we emailed questions, which was very reassuring. The manager was extremely kind. I was more satisfied than at a luxury Hotel. (Notes) Because the sink is right in front of the sauna, the wash area gets hot while using it. For makeup and similar tasks, I recommend using another sink or waiting until after you turn off the sauna.

We stayed for two nights as a family of three with our 4th-grade son. It was a wonderful villa with an exceptional sense of cleanliness. The Room and the pool were both spacious enough, and our child was absolutely delighted. There is also a sauna, and my husband said it was amazing that you can go straight from the sauna into the pool. The view of Kouri Bridge from the Room and the pool is breathtaking. There were lots of thoughtful amenities that are great to have, such as a drum-type washer-dryer and phone chargers. It’s a villa we would definitely love to stay at again!

We stayed during the Obon holiday with six family members and one small dog. First, we were able to complete both check-in and check-out without meeting anyone, and the villa felt very private, so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility was new and clean, with well-equipped amenities and supplies. In particular, the indoor bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was wonderful, and both the Onsen and the outdoor scenery were beautiful. The children had a great time playing in the private outdoor pool. Since it was cold, we added a little hot water, but we were surprised to find that it was also Onsen water. If I may make one request, it would have been helpful to have a washing machine. Also, perhaps because it is a new Facility, the towels were almost brand-new, and fine towel fibers stuck to our faces and bodies, which made them uncomfortable to use. However, the Facility was so excellent that our whole family was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

Drawn in by the phrase “Japan’s most luxurious villa,” six fellow business owners and I stayed for one night while visiting Ishigaki Island. In the end, it was an outstanding stay that every one of us raved about. What surprised us even before arriving was the pre-trip meeting with a dedicated planner. Their flexibility and ability to turn any request into reality—along with thoughtful suggestions—had us excited from the start. The actual stay was truly the definition of being fully taken care of. From Shuttle Service to and from the airport, to marine activities like snorkeling on our own private boat, and even a buggy experience on an uninhabited island reached by crossing Kabira Bay in an amphibious vehicle—everything was a one-of-a-kind experience you can only have here. The view from the uninhabited island’s private beach was more beautiful than anything we had ever seen, and it became an unforgettable memory. The villa’s pool and full-scale water slide were also high quality—six adults could enjoy them to the fullest. On top of that, everything was all-inclusive, from an Ishigaki beef BBQ to alcoholic beverages. We were also amazed by Mr./Ms. S, our dedicated veteran coordinator. With decades of experience escorting well-known public figures, their knowledge of Ishigaki Island and hospitality were truly world-class. Thanks to S, our trip satisfaction multiplied many times over. And since we could keep enjoying activities right up until just before our evening flight home the next day, it honestly felt like two nights’ worth—so much so that it seemed like a bargain. We absolutely want to come back, and this is a special place I can confidently recommend to other business owners as well. Next time, I’d love to visit with my team from work.

Due to company circumstances, meetings, training, and patrols overlapped in November, extending my stay in Osaka. The room was new, so the bath and bed were perfect. At first, I forgot my room wear and went to pick it up in front of the front desk, but as I got used to it, I no longer forgot tea, coffee, and amenities, and I enjoyed delicious drinks brewed in the pot in the room. There was a budget for the company's accommodation expenses, and it was a pity that I couldn't have breakfast this time. I look forward to enjoying breakfast next time.

This was my second stay, and it reminded me again how good this place is. The Room isn’t huge, but it’s easy to move around and very relaxing. The toilet has an automatic lid and automatic flushing, which is a big help for me since I have back issues. It’s also rare (and convenient) to have a sink inside the toilet area. The bathroom has a separate washing area, and the tub is spacious enough to soak comfortably. The pajamas are a two-piece set with a soft feel. What really earns high marks is the generous service: drinks, snacks, and bread are provided, and bringing items into the Room is also allowed. At other hotels, I end up having to stop by a convenience store just to make sure I have drinks—here there’s no need for that, which makes it much more relaxing. We don’t even need to add breakfast; bread and coffee are enough for us. However, it was disappointing that there were no croissants this time. I also didn’t know how to use the toaster, so it would be helpful if instructions were posted. And when I want tea, I’d appreciate a note explaining where to find hot water. Two years ago I wrote that I wished the TV could play YouTube, and I was happy to see that it can now. The staff’s service and smiles had improved compared with before. As always, the only inconvenience is that the space next to the sink is small. It’s close to Shinbashi Station as well, so it’s convenient not having to wait for a taxi. I think the Accommodation cost is reasonable compared with nearby hotels considering how good the service is. I hope these services won’t be discontinued because of inconsiderate guests. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

The stay was relatively short as the main purpose was visiting the Osaka Expo, but overall it was comfortable with almost no stress. The adjacent onsen facility had excellent water quality, and the facility as a whole was in good condition. The room was comfortable with no issues, and while the breakfast buffet initially seemed ordinary, as expected of Osaka, the taste turned out to be great. Minor downsides include the poor quality of toothbrushes provided. Additionally, although it didn’t bother me personally, most guests were inbound tourists making it quite lively. Overall, I would rate this above average in terms of both cost performance and quality.

The rooms and facilities are tastefully arranged, meticulously cleaned, and provide a comfortable stay throughout. Dinner was reserved separately, featuring a course meal made with local ingredients. The highlight was the abalone steak, complemented by a fresh seaweed sauce that enhanced its rich flavor—an unforgettable dish. My companion also loved it. Every detail, from appetizers to desserts, reflected careful attention to quality. During the meal, the beautiful tones of an automatic Steinway piano created an elegant and special atmosphere reminiscent of a concert hall. It’s worth revisiting just for the dining experience. The breakfast the next morning was equally impressive; the tuna sandwich featured marinated tuna—a unique touch showcasing the hotel's originality. It was evident that great care went into preparing this exceptional breakfast. The staff provided warm and attentive service with heartfelt hospitality that left us feeling truly cared for. This hotel is highly recommended for those seeking enriching moments of tranquility and comfort.

The Room is compact but comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. The bathroom and toilet, bed, and other facilities were clean and cozy. The breakfast-included Plan buffet was also satisfying, with a good variety of rice and side dishes. The area around the Hotel was safe and clean. I would like to stay here again next time.

Upon arrival, we were able to use the parking lot and leave our luggage, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in Hiroshima at a relaxed pace. The Room was comfortable and provided a peaceful stay. Breakfast was leisurely and enjoyable, leaving us overall very satisfied. The only slight disappointment was the weak Wi-Fi connection, possibly due to overlapping with group guests. We would love to stay again if given the opportunity—such a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you for your hospitality!

As there was a fireworks festival on my birthday (8/8), we stayed here. Both when I contacted them in advance and when they assisted us in person, the service was incredibly attentive, and above all, the female staff’s smiles were wonderful—the best. We chose a twin Room, so it was spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately the air conditioner didn’t cool well until sunset due to the western sun, and it was cooler out in the hallway. However, since only three groups were staying, we were able to use the private bath both that day and the next morning, which I had been worried about after reading other Reviews. Also, there was a shared freezer and ice machine in the lobby, which we really appreciated as drinkers. Every dish was delicious, and hot items were served hot—excellent. For light eaters like us, it was more than enough to leave us completely full. They even made dessert birthday-themed for us, which truly moved me. I’ve already recommended it to my friends!

The room and facilities were thoughtfully prepared, and the meals were incredibly wonderful. My friends who stayed with me were also deeply impressed. I would love to stay here again when visiting Daisen. Thank you very much!

Thank you for your hospitality! The room I stayed in did not have a toilet or bath, but it was not inconvenient as the toilet was next door. There was no elevator, but since it was on the second floor, it was not a problem. The main building was very close, and I enjoyed the open-air bath while viewing Amanohashidate, and the Onsen was great. It was very satisfying as it was close to the station and I could stay for half the price of the main building!

I stayed here about 10 years ago, and this was my second visit! Everything was very clean, and the futon was so fluffy that I slept really well. I stayed just before the Obon holidays, and there weren’t many bugs during our BBQ on the balcony. We made wonderful summer memories. Thank you very much!

The room was well-cleaned, and the front desk staff were very accommodating. The Onsen was available for use anytime except during the morning cleaning hours, featuring two baths—one hot and one lukewarm—as well as an open-air bath. The quality of the Onsen felt smooth and beneficial for the skin; I enjoyed it twice, at night and in the morning, and was very satisfied. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

I had used the day-use hot springs several times before and fell in love with the water at first sight. Wanting to spend more time soaking in the water, I decided to stay at this accommodation this time! The staff at the accommodation were incredibly kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. It has become a place I definitely want to stay again!

It was a wonderful Ryokan. Our Room did not have a bath, but there were many private baths available, and we could use any open one without a Reservation, so it was not an issue at all. The meals were more than we could finish, and even my son—who eats a lot—was full and satisfied. Everyone welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service, and we were able to spend a comfortable, lovely time.

We arrived empty-handed, but the staff kindly guided us to a nearby supermarket where we could shop for BBQ supplies. Although it was just the two of us, there were many children around on that day, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. After the BBQ, we relaxed in the Onsen with its clear and silky smooth water, which was incredibly soothing. The Room was in a log cabin style, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the warmth of natural wood. The breakfast was also delicious.
