This was our fourth stay. This time we brought our son as well. My spouse and I stayed as usual in the Hotel building on the 3rd floor, ocean side with a balcony, and our son stayed on the same floor on the mountain side. He also seemed to really like the rooftop tent sauna. I think how wonderful this Hotel is comes across from us returning for a fourth time... We stayed in late June, and although this Review is a month later, was everything okay after the Kumamoto earthquake? It’s close by, so we’re worried.

Everything—from the Facility and hospitality to the dining—exceeded our expectations, and it was a stay that our whole family genuinely enjoyed. Our child liked it so much they said, “I want to come again,” and we felt it is a Hotel that’s perfect for a family trip. This time we stayed for one night and two days because we were also staying at another Hotel, but considering the well-equipped Facility and services, I think a Multiple Night Stay would let you appreciate this Hotel’s appeal even more. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights. [Club Lounge] The staff at check-in were extremely courteous, and we were able to enjoy sweets and drinks while completing the procedures. They also prepared coloring sets for each child in our party, which left a great impression as our child was able to spend the time without getting bored. [Guest Room: Ryukyu Suite / Beach View] The in-room refrigerator was a large model with completely separate fridge and freezer compartments, making it very convenient even for families. The toilet was modern and very clean, so it was comfortable to use. Having an in-room drum-type washer/dryer is especially helpful for longer stays or trips with children. Also, because there is a tatami room, children can relax safely lying down; we felt it’s a guest room where families can truly unwind together. Since it’s on the 3rd floor, the view isn’t quite “breathtaking,” but we had no particular complaints and stayed comfortably. [Dinner: Roy’s] There was an excellent variety of sushi options, and the desserts were plentiful as well—everything was delicious. We were satisfied enough that we definitely want to dine here again next time, and I can strongly recommend it to future guests. [Breakfast: Four Seasons] As part of the club floor benefits, we could make a Reservation at check-in, which helped us avoid crowds and enter smoothly. All dishes were delicious—especially the pancakes. With seating overlooking the ocean and a great atmosphere overall, it made for a wonderful morning. [Large Public Bath] We used it around 9:00 PM. It was crowded inside, but there was always an available washing station. Towels were provided as well, which made everything comfortable. [Facilities & Amenities] While not large, there is an indoor pool; plus activities such as rock-paper-scissors stamp rallies are held too, so children won’t get bored even on rainy days. We spent comfortably everywhere—including the outdoor pool area and the beach. [What Was Disappointing] The club floor benefit “Dolphin Splash” and the suite benefit “Wake-Up Sailing” were fully booked so we couldn’t participate. Although this seems unavoidable since the website states they are first-come-first-served programs as well، I hope improvements can be made so guests are less likely to miss out on these benefits altogether.

This was my third stay, and each time I leave thinking, “I’m glad I stayed here—I’ll come back.” It’s a Ryokan where the artwork in the lounge and the amenities in the guest rooms are all wonderful traditional tools that showcase Japanese craftsmanship, and I’m happy to discover different pieces each visit. I was a little worried after hearing the chef had changed, but it was completely unfounded—the flavors and menu were both excellent. Since we stayed the day after my birthday, they prepared a beautiful dessert plate for me. I was impressed by the skill of the young pastry chef. The wine pairing was also great. Breakfast was thoughtfully arranged as well, and I think I’ll always remember how delicious it was to grill Onomichi ingredients over a hibachi. Every member of staff is pleasant, and I truly appreciate how they stay close while keeping just the right distance. We’ll be back in winter—thank you in advance.

The facilities were kept very clean, and the staff were kind and attentive, so we had a wonderful stay. Just as we had heard, the hot spring water quality was excellent, and the open-air bath was fantastic. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Room was thoroughly cleaned down to the smallest details, and we were able to stay very comfortably. Since our Room faced the river, we could hear the kajika frogs calling at night and enjoy a wonderfully luxurious atmosphere. Also, whenever we passed staff members in the hallway and elsewhere, they greeted us thoughtfully, and I was impressed by how many of them showed such attentive hospitality. The meals exceeded our expectations in both flavor and variety, and every dish was delicious. The dining area also showed careful consideration in its seating arrangement, creating a refined, high-quality space for dining. As for the baths, we could enjoy both Kinsen and Ginsen without leaving the property, with three different bath areas available—more than enough to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. At first I was surprised to hear that amenities are not placed in the Room but are picked up in the lobby to bring back with you; however, once we tried it, it felt flexible and actually more convenient. When we visit Arima Onsen again, my family agreed there won’t be any other choice.

I was truly impressed by the silky, rich quality of the Onsen water. It felt so pleasant that I wanted to keep touching my skin in the bath forever—it's rare to find water like this. After arriving, I crossed the bridge and went for a walk; the sound of cicadas was wonderful, and I ended up walking for about an hour. You can also go down to the river, which is another highly recommended spot. The meals were very generous, and I regret that I couldn’t finish everything. I’d be happy if there were an option for a smaller portion with a higher-quality course menu. The sweetfish and bonito were delicious as well. Thank you very much.

No matter how many times we visit, Osawa Onsen never disappoints. We were very satisfied again this time, including the attentive service from the staff. On the drive home, we were already planning when to come back next. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here. I had no familiarity with the area and hadn’t planned where to eat, but thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay. I will stay here again the next time I visit Maizuru. Thank you very much.

Tatami with beds, very relaxing. Traditional hospitality with tabi socks provided. The bath on the 18th floor offers a stunning night view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from the open-air bath. Breakfast exceeded expectations with New Year's osechi dishes. About 80% of guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, and the bath area was kept clean. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store across the street.

This Accommodation is located near a ski resort, and the building feels a bit dated. There was still a faint scent of old tatami in the room, but we didn’t encounter any stink bugs that sometimes appear at mountain lodgings, which was reassuring. The bath is an Onsen with a gentle feel on the skin and a slightly silky texture. I prefer soaking slowly in warm rather than hot water, and the temperature was just right for me. Dinner is served around an irori hearth. There seemed to be a tour-bus group staying that day as well, and the dining area was nearly full. Their menu appeared to be different from ours, but our hearth-grilled dishes were carefully turned at the right time by the attendant, and everything was delicious. This isn’t an Accommodation for those seeking glamour or luxury, but what impressed us most was the very reasonable price. It’s surprisingly affordable for a place listed on IKYU—about the cost of one night at a Business Hotel in Tokyo—and it even includes dinner for two. Considering the cool summer climate and this price point, it was more than satisfying stay.

The Room was clean and new, with the fresh scent of tatami. The cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious, and the innovative menu with delightful surprises left a strong impression. The Onsen was comfortable, and the river view from both the private bath and the large public bath was wonderful. Even the showers use Onsen water, and the cold water after bathing is tasty spring water as well. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

The Room was spotless, and despite it being a busy season, the large public bath was almost like having it to ourselves—I was able to relax and enjoy it both at night and in the morning. Above all, I was amazed by the incredible variety at breakfast! I’ve stayed at many places from budget to luxury, and I’d say this ranks among the top five in terms of selection. With plenty of both Japanese and Western options, I honestly think you should stay at least two nights just to fully enjoy the breakfast. I also loved that the bread selection wasn’t the usual lineup—there was a pretzel-like bread with a light salty flavor that was delicious. Also, my check-in happened to coincide with a time when a line had formed, but the staff were excellent—efficient and professional without being overwhelmed by impatient guests. (I didn’t realize my own mistake until right before check-in—thank you for your help.) You can go back and forth between the large public bath and the breakfast venue in loungewear, there’s even a coin laundry inside the women’s bath area (!), and beyond its unbeatable location right in front of Asahikawa Station with a convenience store on the first floor, this Hotel was truly full of charm.

The location is very convenient from the station, and the front desk staff were courteous, making check-in and check-out smooth. After checkout, there are lockers by the entrance where you can store and retrieve your luggage without needing to speak with the front desk, which is especially stress-free when you’re in a hurry. The welcome sweets and coffee were also delicious.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. The excellent Reviews and the spacious Room were what convinced us to book. For my husband’s celebration, you provided such warm hospitality that he was delighted, and our whole family was truly moved. The property was very clean, all the staff were pleasant (especially at dinner), and we were able to enjoy local dishes—everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied! The night view was beautiful. We would love to stay with you again on another occasion. Thank you very much for your thoughtful kindness.

It was excellent! The location is perfect, and there’s a FamilyMart on the first floor. In the morning, I thought it would be self-service, but the staff kindly prepared both a smoothie and coffee for us. Both were delicious, and we really appreciated it. It was my first time visiting Shirahone Onsen, and I’m glad I chose Yumoto Saito Ryokan. Everything was excellent. The service was attentive, the meals were carefully prepared and delicious, and the baths were clean and relaxing. The Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style room. It made me want to come back again!

The service was very thoughtful. The Room was extremely clean, and the amenities were well stocked. It is also very close to Narita Airport, making it highly convenient. This time I used Narita for an early morning flight, so my stay was short, but I would like to relax and spend more time here next time.

Great location with easy access—close to both the station and the bus stop. Both the Facility and the Room are new and spotless. You can eat and drink in the lounge 24 hours a day, and there are plenty of board games that kids will love. The front desk staff also provided excellent service— nothing to complain about!!! I’ll definitely stay here again when I travel to Kyoto!! This time it was just my son and me, so it felt very spacious, but for a family of four it might be a bit tight. Next time we’re four, I’ll choose a suite room.

The complimentary treats like popcorn and shaved ice were especially great, and we also enjoyed fun extras such as the bubble bath. Since children stay free, it’s an excellent choice for families with kids. If I have a chance to visit Osaka again, I’d love to stay here. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Surrounded by mountains, this Hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing, unhurried stay. At the front desk, you can borrow items such as soccer balls and badminton equipment. In summer, the indoor pool is also available, making it a comfortable choice for families with children to enjoy with peace of mind. The buffet felt slightly limited in variety, but everything tasted great and I went back for seconds several times. Depending on the season, there are also dishes featuring crab or abalone, giving the impression that guests of all ages can enjoy it. One small point to note is the shop: while there is a wide selection of souvenirs, there are fewer options for snacks and alcohol. You may want to buy those in advance at a convenience store or supermarket on the way. Also, because the building uses centralized air conditioning, there are no individual air conditioners in each Room. If you are sensitive to temperature changes, bringing lighter or warmer clothing may help you stay more comfortable.
