The building, interior design, amenities, hinoki wood bath, lighting, and even the washer-dryer were all understated yet high in design and quality, allowing us to have a truly wonderful time. Located in Miyagawa-cho, it is an extremely convenient spot for walking, sightseeing, and shopping while being in a very quiet location where we could enjoy a relaxed Kyoto stay as if living there. My husband and our two 15-year-old sons all unanimously said from the moment we arrived until departure that they would love to live here. The handmade bagels, scones, and cookies at the lovely café on the first floor were absolutely delicious and brought joy to my sons. The manager was incredibly thoughtful yet laid-back; they introduced us to Kyoto's craft beers and dining spots while also engaging in delightful conversations with us. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality. We would definitely like to stay here again during our next visit to Kyoto!

We stayed during the three-day weekend in February. We were very grateful for the pick-up service from the station. The location was also very convenient for sightseeing, as it was close to Omicho Market. We bought dinner at the market and warmed it up in the kitchen, allowing us to enjoy a meal together as a family around the kotatsu, which is one of the unique benefits of renting an entire house. The provided coffee and towels were well-prepared, making our stay comfortable. We would love to use this accommodation again if we have another opportunity.

Our family of four stayed for one night. This time it was just a one-night stay, but we thought a Multiple Night Stay would be great for enjoying sightseeing. There is also an Onsen Facility fairly nearby, so it’s convenient if you’re coming by car. This is an Accommodation we were glad we chose.

The location is excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive, making for a pleasant stay.

The atmosphere and decor of the building were excellent! Although it is a bit away from the city center, it is in a quiet location and very comfortable to stay.

The stairs from the parking lot to the building were quite numerous, and with all our luggage, it was challenging to carry everything in one trip. However, the breathtaking view in front of the building made up for it. Although there were no curtains and the west sun shone through, waking up to such a stunning view and witnessing the beauty of the sunset was an unforgettable experience unique to this place. We enjoyed using the BBQ facilities on both nights of our stay. Bugs were not much of an issue, and we had a delightful dinner outdoors. The sheets and duvet covers were very clean with a linen-like texture that felt wonderful against our skin. Although there were no curtains allowing sunlight to stream in, the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated that eco-friendly products like detergent and shampoo were provided. We would love to visit again! It was truly a memorable stay.

Conveniently located within walking distance to popular areas like Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Amerikamura. The nearest station is Nagahoribashi Station on the Sakaisuji Line, just a 1-minute walk away. I stayed here after visiting the Osaka Expo and enjoyed the late-night dining options nearby, including a delicious midnight meal at the yakiniku restaurant next door. This four-story private rental property features a home elevator (operating between the 1st and 3rd floors), making it easy to carry heavy suitcases up to the third-floor bedrooms. There are also bedrooms on the first floor for added convenience. The second-floor living-dining area boasts an intricate Japanese sake-themed design with an impressive wooden table as its centerpiece. Guests can even enjoy complimentary premium sake during their stay! With two toilets and two showers available, this property is perfect for families or groups traveling together. The highlight of this accommodation is undoubtedly the unique rooftop bath on the fourth floor—a massive wooden tub where hot water flows from a sake bottle-shaped faucet! Stylish swimsuits are provided so everyone can enjoy this extraordinary experience together with family or friends. I’d love to explore other Kominka-so properties in the future!

We stayed as three families. The spacious and comfortable Room provided enough private space for everyone. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and incredibly stylish! It was such a wonderful place that we definitely want to come back again.

I often visit the nearby shops, so I’d been curious about this place for a while and decided to stay. It’s set slightly back from the main street, but the attached bakery is delicious, and there are many great restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient location. The interior has a modern Japanese style, and the solid wood flooring feels great even barefoot. The standout feature is the large hinoki bath. Even tall guests can stretch their legs out comfortably, and the scent of hinoki is very relaxing. It’s rare to find such a large hinoki bath even at other Hotels. The tub can also be filled automatically, which was fantastic. All Facilities are up to date, and there was nothing inconvenient compared with staying at a Hotel. Since this is a renovated property with traditional-sized beams, guests over 180 cm may bump their head, so please be careful—it’s annoying at first but you get used to it. There are some downsides—like the TV being hard to figure out and the stairs being steep—but the biggest thing to note is that because this Facility shares space with shops, you can hear more noise than expected from early morning as the bakery prepares for opening. During the day as well, you can clearly hear customers and probably children of people eating in. From the large opening at the back of the second floor and from the rear garden area, you can also smell bread coming in from the bakery. Whether this feels noisy or adds to its machiya character may depend on personal preference. There were moments when it didn’t feel very calm, but overall it was a good experience. Eating out frequently can affect my health, so I prefer to cook with local ingredients. Recently, I’ve been using Vacation Rentals for my stays. This time, I found a wonderful condominium. 〇 The view from the large windows was stunning. Overlooking the vast nature of Rusutsu gave me a sense of freedom. Enjoying Sapporo beer while admiring the scenery was fantastic. 〇 The kitchen was well-equipped with almost everything needed, including dishcloths and plastic wrap, which were very helpful. The dishwasher was also incredibly convenient. 〇 For groceries, I used a nearby roadside station, convenience store, and a supermarket in Kutchan. If necessary, the nearby convenience store makes things quite manageable. Additionally, since the first floor connects to the adjacent Rusutsu Resort Hotel, dining there is also an option. 〇 A spacious closet near the entrance had both a washing machine and dryer, making laundry very easy to handle. 〇 The bathroom only had shower facilities; however, I used the hotel's Onsen once instead. Unfortunately, it was crowded at that time but still relaxing thanks to its spacious open-air bath and thoughtful design. This condominium is new and clean with wide hallways and ample space between rooms for extra comfort—it felt very relaxing overall! It’s truly an underrated spot during summer seasons. I'd love to stay here again in the future! Thank you so much for everything!

With the pool on-site, we were able to have a lot of fun even when the weather was uncertain. However, as we expected, it was a bit inconvenient that there were no tableware items other than wine glasses. Next time, we feel it’s essential to bring plastic cups, paper plates, chopsticks, and similar items. Other than that, everything was very comfortable. The location is also very close to Sesoko Island, and we could even enjoy Sesoko Island’s fireworks from our Room. Thank you very much.

A clean and spacious cottage, conveniently located about a 5-minute drive from the nearest Annupuri Ski Resort, making it perfect for enjoying skiing and snowboarding. If given the opportunity, I would love to stay there again.
