The front side of the accommodation faces a field, with a horse pasture in the back. If you're lucky, you can catch a distant view of Mt. Fuji, allowing you to relax and unwind. The owner is attentive and considerate to each guest, maintaining a comfortable distance. The room is standard, the toilet is modern, the bath temperature is perfect, and Wi-Fi connectivity is excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, making for an elegant experience.

The accommodation was even more comfortable than I imagined from the photos. First, the room was stylish, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. One of my companions even said, "I can't believe they have every cooking utensil here! I wish we had booked a multiple night stay!" For me, everything seemed to feature the latest facilities, which left me amazed throughout my stay. On top of that, having a bed that is comfortable for someone with back pain was absolutely wonderful. I would love to stay here again. **Note:** The only thing I found confusing was the key app. If it doesn't work properly: - Check if you have received a spare key. - Restart the app. This worked for me—hope it helps!

I stayed in a room with a double bed. It was very spacious! The TV was large, and I enjoyed watching Netflix. The room had a washer with a dryer, which was very convenient. For Multiple Night Stays, it seems cleaning is not provided, so guests need to take care of trash disposal and bath towels themselves.

The hostess and her daughter were very friendly, and it was a relaxing Accommodation. The Onsen was also free-flowing, and the open-air bath was wonderful. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was our first trip to Hakuba with my daughter, and we were very satisfied with this accommodation. With only four rooms, each uniquely designed, we chose the "Condo" room this time. The room featured beautiful interior design, offering a luxurious and private experience. My daughter was delighted as well. For us, the enjoyment of a trip heavily depends on the accommodation's room and meals, and Kunugi exceeded all expectations with its hospitality and cleanliness. One of the highlights was the bath facilities—three options including indoor baths and an outdoor Asian-style bath that required a reservation. The outdoor bath had a tropical resort vibe where we could relax while enjoying views of the garden. It was so pleasant that I ended up using it twice—once in the evening and again in the morning. Dinner consisted of a full-course menu featuring fish and meat dishes that were casual yet delicious. The French toast served at breakfast was also excellent, which made my daughter very happy once again. Having stayed at many hotels or ryokans before, I believe accommodations like Kunugi—with its originality and exceptional hospitality—are rare to find. While winter is likely their peak season due to increased demand, visiting during off-season periods like now through autumn offers more reasonable rates. Summer in Hakuba feels like experiencing Japan’s traditional landscapes—a truly unique region worth visiting. We will definitely return for another stay! You’ll also be greeted by friendly goats right in front of the house. The deck features a traditional Goemon bath where you can soak while admiring the scenery. For dinner, gather around an irori (traditional sunken hearth) and enjoy a leisurely meal while chatting with the hosts. The dishes are made with local ingredients and enhanced by homemade seasonings like soy sauce koji and nuoc mam vinegar—everything is delicious, perfectly paired with drinks. After dinner, sleep under a mosquito net for a nostalgic Showa-era experience. In the morning, try cooking rice in a traditional kamado stove using freshly harvested rice from the terraced fields—it’s so flavorful on its own! Pair it with grilled fish (barracuda on this day), large-grain natto from Takachiho, roasted seaweed over an irori fire, or tamago kake gohan (rice topped with raw egg). You’ll find yourself reaching for seconds! This accommodation is perfect for families or couples and is also popular among international guests. For those who aren’t comfortable eating raw eggs at breakfast, you can request alternatives like tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet). We’d love to visit again as a family!

A guesthouse we discovered after changing our travel plans. A gentler, more comforting time than we imagined. From the spotless Room, you can enjoy a panoramic view all to yourself. A body-pleasing steamed breakfast and lemongrass tea—an unforgettable, luxurious moment awaits you here. This is a place best experienced rather than described. We’ll be back. The signboard cat, Raby, and the warm-hearted staff. We’ll cherish this moving experience and do our best to value each day.

After enjoying a touring experience in Wakayama, savoring delicious Kue cuisine has become an annual pleasure. The sunset over the Pacific Ocean viewed from the dining Room was incredibly beautiful. Looking forward to next season as well!

I was a bit anxious traveling solo during Golden Week, but I had a very comfortable stay in the spacious Room. I enjoyed both the Fu Chanpuru set dinner and breakfast, and the rice was especially delicious. With the beach and village nearby, my morning walk felt wonderful. There were face masks in the Room, which were gentle on my sunburned skin—I really appreciated the thoughtful touch. I was also glad to be able to borrow a muumuu. I’d love to come again.

This was my first time staying at an unmanned property, but both check-in and check-out were easy with a QR code. The air conditioning was already running strong, so it was pleasantly cool inside. The layout leads to the guest Room via a corridor, and the Room had sufficient Facility as well. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

This was our 10th trip to Miyako Island, mainly for snorkeling, and this accommodation was the best we've ever stayed at! Absolutely flawless. Snorkeling gear can be dried in the garden, there's a drum-type washing machine with a dryer function, and items you don't want to put in the dryer can be dried using the bathroom drying system. Both the bathroom and room were spotless, and we were amazed by how well-stocked the amenities were! There are also toilets on both the first and second floors. It truly felt like staying in a home away from home! I couldn't wait to write a review about it. We definitely want to stay here again for next year's trip to Miyako Island! It was so good that we're slightly worried about potential price increases (haha). This time, we stayed as two couples—my husband and I along with our friends—and it was perfect for both families or groups of friends without any stress at all. There's also a large supermarket within less than a 10-minute walk. Overall, an absolutely fantastic accommodation!

True to its name as a fine sake inn, it offers a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, and the meals paired with them are excellent. A quiet Accommodation recommended for those seeking rest and relaxation.

It was very clean, comfortable, and a great stay. The kids were very happy to be able to play table tennis and darts. We have another trip next year, so we’d love to stay here again!

Last time, I enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. Although I didn’t have high expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by the stylish morning set, even if it wasn’t overly abundant. This time, due to a busy schedule, I opted for a paid breakfast (an additional 200 yen) at an earlier time. It was an onigiri bento box that seemed perfect for taking along on a picnic. Highly recommended for those who love onigiri! As for the bed, pet-friendly Rooms might only come with double beds. If you prefer relaxing in a single bed, it might feel slightly cramped.

A traditional Japanese farmhouse in a very quiet location near Lake Kasumigaura. It’s a relaxing space where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You can also enjoy their home-brewed craft beer as a welcome drink. The food was simply delicious. We also got to try splitting firewood. All the staff were very kind, and the nearby aquarium is also recommended.

We stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast included. The Accommodation was clean, and the fireplace and the scent of wood in the Room were very relaxing. I’m giving it 4 stars because there was no bathtub, only a shower. The meals were very satisfying. As an auberge around Asahikawa, it’s top-class so far. Once all guests are seated, the dishes are served all at once, but we were able to enjoy beer and other drinks beforehand. Taisetsuzan Beer is recommended. It started raining the next morning, and the Hotel staff brought us an umbrella. It’s a Facility that makes you want to come back again.
