The meals were so delicious and plentiful that we couldn’t finish everything. We also enjoyed talking with the hostess, who was very kind and welcoming. The building had a traditional old-style house feel and was very clean. If we have the chance, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit again. The firefly squid pasta was outstanding.

We stayed here as a family while sightseeing in Nagano. The manager was friendly and responded to us courteously. As this is an Accommodation at a temple, it does not have the latest facilities, but the toilets, bath, and shared spaces were well maintained and clean. Thank you very much.

The Onsen and the Room were both great. A relaxing place. I’ll stay again.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. I got completely absorbed in the golf simulator and ended up swinging for over six hours.

There was nothing to complain about—rooms, Onsen, meals, and hospitality were all excellent. Since I wasn’t very familiar with traditional herbal medicine, I had some concerns about the food before arriving, but every dish was wonderful. The Onsen was always available for private use and very relaxing, making this an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Stayed during the Golden Week holidays I didn’t understand how to unlock the auto-lock or pick up the key, so I called and received it that way. It turned out the instructions had been sent by email, but I hadn’t noticed, so that part made me panic a bit. However, the phone support was smooth, and I was able to enter the Room without any issues. It was a twin Room, but it was more spacious than a typical business hotel. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and I appreciated having a large refrigerator. It felt like a slightly larger studio apartment, so I could relax comfortably. The only slight disappointment was that the TV was small. It was also convenient for sightseeing—I could walk to places like Toyokuni Shrine and Sanjusangendo Temple. Above all, I’m really glad I could stay at an affordable price during Golden Week.

Spacious, spotless, and absolutely perfect! Everything was well maintained, from the cleaning to the Facility, and we enjoyed a dream-like stay. Everyone was very satisfied.

Because my mother has trouble with her legs and couldn’t climb the stairs, they kindly guided us in from the second floor. The very kind and wonderful proprietress soothed our travel fatigue. When we entered the Room, we were welcomed with homemade candied chestnut sweets and tea. The chestnuts were so delicious I wanted to buy some to take home. In a triple Room surrounded by lovely small items and chests of drawers, the bath was free-flowing natural hot spring water straight from the source. Our skin became silky smooth and our bodies stayed warm. We asked at short notice a few days in advance for dinner, and they prepared it for us. With sashimi, mountain vegetables, simmered sea bream head, delicious rice, miso soup, and more, we were completely full and very satisfied. Of course breakfast was also delicious just as the Reviews said—mountain vegetables, salmon, and more! Just as everyone’s Reviews said, it is truly a wonderful Accommodation, and we were able to spend an unforgettable holiday. It’s an Accommodation I want to visit again and again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

All meals are handmade from the seasonings up, and the koji-based dishes were tender and carefully prepared with quality ingredients. The rich, flavorful game meat was delicious. Our dog also finished all of the venison dish, asked for seconds, and looked very happy.

The Room was very clean, and we were also happy with the reasonable price and the free breakfast. This was our first time having dinner at TSUTAYA Kitchen, and it was also reasonably priced and very delicious. We will visit again.

I wanted to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and was looking for an affordable place to stay nearby when I found this Hotel. For the Onsen and breakfast, I used their affiliated property close by, Ivy Hotel Chikushino. I was able to enjoy Futsukaichi Onsen, and the meals were delicious as well. The front desk staff were very helpful, and thanks to their recommendation, I went to the izakaya “Gon (Hiko),” where the grilled yam on an iron plate and the grilled chicken on an iron plate were excellent—I was very satisfied. To get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, you need to walk 21 minutes to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station, so if you have difficulty walking, it’s better to use a taxi or bus.

Every dish prepared by the owner was delicate and delicious. We were especially impressed by the boat platter of Seki mackerel. The Accommodation staff, dressed in clean black outfits, gave a neat and professional impression. Although it is a two-story building, there is an elevator, showing thoughtful consideration for guests with limited mobility. The private bath had a charming atmosphere and was wonderful. The water temperature was just right for Kannawa Onsen (no added water needed). They served draft beer (with edamame) to our Room. Their phone support was accurate and courteous. We found it comfortable that they maintained an appropriate distance from guests without being overly friendly. This is an Accommodation where you can feel genuine hospitality, and we would like to visit again.

I stayed in a mixed dormitory Room with bunk beds. In addition to the front lobby, there were other spaces where I could relax, and every interior had a stylish atmosphere—staying only one night felt like a waste. Thanks to that, I was able to see Mt. Fuji at sunset. The staff—a kind handsome man and a cute woman—were very attentive, and it was an Accommodation where I felt safe even as a solo traveler. Thank you very much. If I may be greedy, it would be nice to have an electric fan in the shared washbasin area outside the shower room—just my personal thought. Overall, I was very satisfied with this Accommodation.

This time, we stayed in a villa with a sauna. It was a surprise trip for my partner, and he loved it—we’d like to stay again. The view was just as beautiful as in the photos, and the staff were very courteous. The dinner explanation seemed to be given by a new staff member, but they explained everything carefully even though they were nervous. The food was delicious, the Room was spotless, and we could see beautiful mountains and sky from the window. We also really appreciated that the sauna has a window. At night, we even got to experience a campfire—something we don’t usually get to do—making it a truly fulfilling getaway that felt wonderfully out of the ordinary. It was such a lovely Accommodation that I’d like to recommend it to others as well. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay, following our visit in March this year. With a spacious living room with beautiful sunset views, a comfortable kitchen, a relaxing massage chair, and a sauna, our whole family was very satisfied and able to unwind. The grandchildren were delighted with the morning harvest experience in the owner’s garden. The caretaker was also very pleasant—this is an Accommodation we’d love to return to.

Hirayu Onsen has milky-white, iron-rich waters. After a day of hiking, it warmed us up wonderfully. The open-air bath was especially nice. The meals focused on local specialties, and we were able to enjoy a full range of Gifu delicacies such as Hida beef shabu-shabu, hoba miso, and salmon sashimi. It was supposed to be the standard meal plan, but for us—a couple in our mid-50s—it was more than luxurious enough and very satisfying. As for hospitality, the woman at the front desk, the woman who served our meals, and the man were all friendly and warm. It’s also convenient—about a 5-minute walk to the Hirayu Bus Terminal for buses to Kamikochi. We had a wonderful trip.

After arrival, we were shown to our Room without much guidance. It was a clean and spacious Room. Since this is temple lodging, the Rooms are only separated by sliding doors, so you can hear voices and other sounds clearly. Dinner was carefully prepared and very enjoyable. The rice was exceptionally delicious—better than anything I’ve had in quite a while. I usually hold back, but I finished everything (lol). The next morning I had plans and made a Reservation without breakfast, but I was asked about breakfast; when I said it wasn’t included in my Reservation, it was still recommended to me, which left me a little unsure (the rice really was that good… lol). The service was very polite throughout. Thank you for taking care of us.

We stayed here during the Obon holidays—this was our second visit. Last time we stayed in Building 1, and this time in Building 2. It was very stylish, and the living room was spacious, so we were able to relax with our dog. On the day, we brought our own ingredients for a BBQ and asked them to handle all the setup, which made it comfortable and enjoyable to dine. It was quiet at night, so we slept well and had a great morning. For breakfast, since it was our second stay, they upgraded it for us; everything—from the bread to the butter—was carefully selected and absolutely delicious. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, giving a great sense of cleanliness and making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance. We stayed with our 10-month-old baby. We had bulky luggage such as a baby crib, and it took us some time to unload from the car. During that time, the front desk staff kindly kept the door from the parking lot open for us and even accompanied us until we got the cart into the elevator. We truly appreciated this thoughtful, natural kindness—it made us feel warmly welcomed. As for the Room, since our baby and we usually sleep in separate rooms at home, we were looking for a layout where we could place the baby crib as far away as possible. The Deluxe Twin was exactly ideal: it consists of two fully separated rooms—a living room with a sofa and TV, and a bedroom divided by a door. Being able to use separate spaces allowed us to rest comfortably. One thing that especially impressed us about the cleaning was how spotless the mirrors were. There were absolutely no fingerprints or water spots—every mirror looked brand new. They were polished carefully down to every detail, and we could really feel their commitment to cleanliness. It’s such an ideal Hotel that we were genuinely surprised, since we stayed without knowing anything about its reputation. When we visit Kitami again, we would definitely love to stay here again.

I chose this Accommodation because meals are served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, and I was also drawn to the private jacuzzi. I stayed in a jacuzzi Room in the annex. The Room seemed to have been recently renovated and was very clean, which was great! I could hear some footsteps from above, but I couldn’t hear voices from next door at all, so it felt fairly soundproof. The jacuzzi had already been filled with hot water, and it was nice that I could reheat it and change the light colors. Both breakfast and dinner were very delicious. All of the staff were pleasant as well, so I had a very comfortable stay!
