This time, we added tempura. We ordered the chef’s choice, and everything was delicious. They fry it right in front of you, so it looks great, and being able to eat it fresh right away really lifted our spirits!! It had been very hot lately, but on the day we stayed it was a bit calmer. In the evening we took a leisurely stroll, and when the breeze came through the shade of the trees it felt cool and pleasant. We’d love to come back again as soon as possible.

At first glance, the building feels a bit like the bubble era, but the inside has been renovated and is very clean. The bath in particular is on the top floor with outstanding views and a great sense of cleanliness. This time there happened to be few guests, so they upgraded our Room to a 14-tatami Room, which was wonderful. The food was fresh and very delicious. The Hotel is on a hill with great views; walking out is easy, but coming back can be a bit tiring! I used the bath three times and was able to relax.

Our family of three stayed here. The guest room with an open-air bath had an amazing view of the trees through the window. The meals were delicious, and we loved the post-bath ice pops, late-night inari sushi, morning coffee service, board games, and the excellent loan services such as a rotating hair dryer and a NanoCare hair dryer. It was relaxing and quiet, and we were able to unwind from everyday fatigue. The Onsen water was also wonderful. Highly recommended Accommodation.

I stayed in Room 103. The Room was very spacious, and the original traditional materials have been preserved, creating a wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary space where I could relax and unwind. The bath was also a hinoki cypress bath with a gentle cypress fragrance that was incredibly soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff kindly explained the carefully selected Chichibu ingredients, which made the meal even more enjoyable. This is a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again!

Staying at Kisshotei with my family this time was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, the room was clean and cozy, and the staff were all very kind. The meals and hot spring experience were excellent. My family had a wonderful stay, and it left us with great memories from this trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi and mobile signal were somewhat unstable, which made it a little inconvenient to use. If this can be improved in the future, the stay would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I visit Yamanaka Onsen again, I would love to stay at Kisshotei again!

We stayed here for a Disney trip with our grandchildren—8 people in 4 rooms. What we liked - The beds were very comfortable. - The Room was clean and we were satisfied. - Breakfast, just as rumored, was excellent. Coffee could also be taken back to the Room. - The late-night snack time (22:00–23:00) was nice. There weren’t many soba noodles and they ran out, and no staff were present. What concerned us - The parking lot was hard to find. - Some aging of the Facility is unavoidable. - The male front desk staff member seemed lacking in energy. Overall, we were satisfied. We would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Although it is a little away from the city center, Mitaka Station is the nearest station and it offers convenient access from Shinjuku. The Room meets Richmond’s reliable standards and is comfortable. Breakfast at Sizzler is also highly recommended.

Although the sky was unfortunately overcast, it was the perfect season to comfortably soak in the lukewarm natural spring water, and it felt wonderful! The meals are delicious and full of healthy options, and combined with the Onsen benefits, I feel better every time I stay. Perhaps because I kept coming back, my frozen shoulder has completely healed! The summer à la carte fried rock oysters were especially delicious—I’d love to have them again next year! This was my first Saturday stay, and I enjoyed listening to a jazz piano performance. It matched beautifully with the mysterious flicker of the bamboo lights in the garden and was incredibly soothing. There were familiar tunes and summer songs, and in the second half they even took requests, so there was a great variety of music and it was truly enjoyable. Ending with “Cradle Song” was also a stylish touch. I’m looking forward to visiting again in autumn.

This Accommodation offered excellent value for money. The paid open-air baths at the neighboring Yumotokan were wonderful—especially the one farthest from this Accommodation. You get a panoramic view of Lake Biwa. I recommend enjoying it both while it’s still light out and again for the night view. It was fun visiting different baths around the property. I had seen a Review saying there was no elevator, so choosing the second floor was the right call. I couldn’t help eating the ice cream in the lobby. The meals were delicious as well. I didn’t have time to use the recreation room, but it had manga, massage chairs, a table tennis table, and more—it looked like a lot of fun. When I first entered the Room, there was a slightly unusual smell, but once I turned on the Plasmacluster air purifier I stopped noticing it. The Room was clean, so maybe it was related to the plumbing? The staff were pleasant, it’s great value for money, and I highly recommend it.

You’ll head toward the mountains on a narrow road that might make you wonder if there’s really a Ryokan up ahead. When we finally arrived, it felt like a hidden Accommodation—so exciting! The building was spotless and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, making it truly relaxing. The Onsen had a sulfur scent, and the meals—centered around fish—were delicious down to the pickles. I couldn’t stop going back for more rice! We made our next Reservation as soon as we arrived—it was that wonderful!

For this trip, we decided to stay at Inumo for any sightseeing destination within a two-hour drive. Our whole family agreed that, after traveling with our dog and staying in various places over the past 10 years, this Hotel is the most relaxing, so we chose it. Above all, the Room is very clean. There’s no odor. The Room has almost all the dog amenities you need. They also provide diapers, so there’s no need to buy them for your trip. You can sleep together. The restaurant is also OK. Even if your dog only goes potty outdoors, there’s a large park nearby when you go out for a walk. You can take photos with Tokyo Tower and your dog in the park (nighttime is recommended). From here on are comments specific to our sensitive and timid dog: Our Shiba Inu lives in a lush green area and isn’t used to riding in a cart, so every year one of our worries was having to put our dog into the cart again and again to move around inside the Hotel whenever we went for walks. But at this Hotel, you can move around freely on a leash, which helps us a lot. Also, it really helps that the staff don’t talk directly to dogs. Even when passing by or walking past the front desk—this may sound odd—I think it’s wonderful that they don’t interfere with dogs. It made me feel they understand that every dog has a different personality. We would like to stay again.

Our family of four stayed in a room with an open-air bath. Even putting it modestly, it was amazing. The meals, baths, and views were all excellent. The food was generous and delicious, and at night we enjoyed a sky full of stars. The bath left our skin silky smooth—especially the morning bath, which I highly recommend. This was our first stay, but it’s an Accommodation we definitely want to return to. Thank you very much.

Arrived by motorcycle, and the Hotel staff came out right away to guide me to the parking area—covered parking, which was excellent! Although it’s not a natural Onsen, there is a large public bath and a sauna, which were great Facilities. The only disappointment was that the cold bath wasn’t very cold. Breakfast also had a wide variety: scallop sashimi, Jingisukan, plenty of egg dishes, and even Okoppe milk. There were many items I personally liked, so I was very satisfied. It was a Hotel that exceeded its price. I’d definitely like to stay here again when I visit Monbetsu!

The seafood-focused meal prepared for my partner, who can’t eat meat, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed both the taste and the generous portions. Thank you very much. The hot spring water was also pleasantly soft and wonderful.

Unlike other Smile Hotels, it had a homely atmosphere with various thoughtful touches, which was great. Both the station and convenience store are nearby, making it ideal for a short stay. It's only 30 minutes to Tokyo Station, so I felt the cost-performance was better than hotels in the city. It was worth more than its price.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay during our Obon trip to Yamaguchi. The detached Room was spacious, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen in the Room was simply amazing, and we enjoyed it many times during our stay (we even ended with a footbath before checkout because we didn’t want to leave). The staff were also very courteous. The meals featuring local cuisine were absolutely delicious. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, I imagine the chef had to work hard on the menu, but we were completely satisfied on both days. We’ll definitely come back to relax again when we visit Yamaguchi!

We traveled from Aichi Prefecture to visit Tottori and Shimane. After sightseeing at Matsue Castle, we made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Even though it was the day of our trip, the front desk staff were very helpful, and the Room and overall environment were excellent.\n\nIf you’re heading from Matsue Castle to Izumo Taisha, I highly recommend this Ryokan.\n\nThe morning clam miso soup was delicious.\n\nI would love to stay again if I have the chance. I was able to fully enjoy the Gion Festival. Last year I stayed at a Hotel near Kyoto Station, and getting around by subway was a hassle, so this time I chose this place near the Yamaboko-cho area. I had stayed here back when it was Mitsui Garden, so I already knew my way around and had a comfortable, stress-free stay. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and greeted me with smiles. Just one thing: after the first night, housekeeping may have been missed—there was only a bag of towels hanging on the doorknob, and the trash bins in the Room were left as they were. Also, the loungewear and bath mat weren’t in the bag, so I went to pick them up myself. The next day, I proactively put out the trash bins and used towels into the hallway before going out. I wasn’t sure how the housekeeping system worked, but it was within what we could handle flexibly on our side, so it wasn’t an issue. For the Gion Festival, this is my only choice—I felt like it’s a Hotel I’d like to return to again next year. Thank you very much.

The food was delicious, and I ended up drinking a bit too much for the first time in a while. The bath was just the right size, and I could relax comfortably and warm up thoroughly. The Room was cleaned carefully, and the toilet was kept very clean, making for a very pleasant stay. I would like to stay again. *The weather was quite cloudy and not ideal for seeing Mt. Fuji, but the clouds cleared briefly and we were able to see it.*
