We stayed here for a girls’ trip. The atmosphere was even better than in the photos, and the room was stylish and refined. Time seemed to pass slowly, and we were able to enjoy a truly special stay! The female owner was wonderful, and we really appreciated all her help. I think it’s perfect for a chic girls’ getaway, a family trip, or traveling with grandparents. We definitely want to come again next year!

It was unfortunately raining that day, so we stopped by the newly opened Izu no Kuni History Museum “Izushiru” before checking in. The welcome drink system, where you can choose your preferred drink from a vending machine, felt efficient and practical. I absolutely loved the gift zori sandals in our Room and will take good care of them. We used the private open-air bath again this time. There are now two washing stations, so even as a couple we didn’t have to wait and it was very comfortable. The slightly thick, silky hot spring water is wonderful. The floor chair in the Room had been replaced with a higher chair, making it even more comfortable than before. Since it was raining, we enjoyed soaking in the open-air bath attached to our guest room and watching baseball on one of the two TVs that can receive satellite channels. All of the meals were delicious and the portions were just right. After dinner, being able to use the coffee machine in the lobby also added to our satisfaction. All of the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. There’s no excessive service—just a great Accommodation you can enjoy even on rainy days—and my wife likes it too, so it’s becoming our regular place in Izu Nagaoka. We look forward to staying again.

This Accommodation is packed with the best of a traditional Ryokan, and our whole family was delighted. We were amazed by how spacious the bath was, and the grandkids were excited about the jungle-like atmosphere. It was cherry blossom season, and everything was spectacular—flower mats, petals floating on the water, hazy blossom skies, swirling petal showers, even a “path of blossoms”! The kids were also surprised by the waterwheel. Thank you for a wonderful time we will always remember.

I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.

We stayed here for a family trip. Since it was close to Toshogu Shrine, sightseeing was very smooth. The hospitality and service were excellent, and the bath was great, though it looked a little different from the photos on the website. The view wasn’t quite as scenic as in the photos, but we were still very satisfied. They also let us leave our car after check-out, so we were able to visit Toshogu Shrine during that time—something you can only do at a nearby Hotel.

Since I travel with my dog, I always stay in the same Room, and it is spacious and very comfortable. Even though it is clean, you can sleep with your dog on the bed, and there is also a fairly large crate provided—nothing to complain about. Also, all of the staff are very kind, which makes the stay even better.

This was our third stay, and we always leave satisfied. The meals offer a wide variety and generous portions, and everything is delicious. Some places look impressive but don’t taste great, but here you can tell they use carefully selected ingredients and the flavors are excellent. The Onsen coffee you can order at the front desk has a gentle taste and is very soothing. The bath in the Room also has silky Onsen water, so you can enjoy an Onsen soak anytime you like. Simply the best.

As we were at a point where we might have to leave Tokyo due to my daughter’s job assignment, the three of us stayed at Shohakukan in Onahama. It’s a historic building, but it was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, so we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. We chose a room with a private hot spring bath and a massage chair! The in-room hot spring had an authentic sulfur scent that really made it feel like a true onsen experience, and we took turns using the massage chair as a family to soothe our travel fatigue. Upgrading the meals was absolutely the right decision! Crab, grilled dancing abalone, Joshu beef steak, simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai), deep-fried mehikari… everything was incredibly luxurious, and we enjoyed so many local specialties. Every dish was truly delicious—I almost felt bad that we couldn’t finish everything. Sorry about that! Another unforgettable part of our stay was chatting with the wonderful attendant wearing glasses. She shared so many enjoyable stories about the inn’s history, sightseeing spots, and recommended sake, making our trip even warmer and more memorable. Thank you very much. In the midst of our busy daily lives, it meant so much to relax as a family of three again—enjoying great food and unwinding in the hot springs—and it made us fall in love with Fukushima for the first time. We would love to return again someday. Thank you sincerely for everything!

It felt like the Accommodation had been upgraded compared to my previous stay. The staff came out from the front desk to welcome us, carried our luggage, and created a bright, courteous atmosphere. We had our dog with us, and it was very reassuring. I also accidentally forgot our dog’s bowl, but you kindly lent us a replacement—thank you so much. Next time I’ll bring it. The squid sashimi and tempura we’d been looking forward to were wonderful, and the abalone shabu-shabu I tried for the first time was excellent. The other dishes were also delicious. It’s such a comfortable Accommodation, and even without traveling far, I don’t think there’s another place in Fukuoka Prefecture that offers this level of attentive service. The price is also very reasonable, so it feels like a great deal. I filmed the squid sashimi as a video, but unfortunately couldn’t upload it. Highly recommended.

Being close to the highway interchange is convenient. We arrived a bit late and there were no parking spaces, but after going out for a meal and coming back, one was available. Our 3-year-old grandchild was delighted to receive lots of toys and snacks. The staff’s service was excellent.

I had long wanted to walk the Yamanobe-no-Michi trail, and I chose this Accommodation along the route because I was drawn to its medicinal cuisine. As a result, I felt wonderfully healed both physically and mentally! I gave one less star for the meals because breakfast felt a little lacking. Each item in the Room was lovely, and I also liked how each Room is designed around a small garden. I’ll never forget opening the door in the morning and being enveloped in the wonderful scent of herbs and greenery. If I have another chance, I’d love to visit again.

We spent Silver Week as a couple with our dog. Since it was a private cottage rental, we could relax without worrying about others, and our dog had a great time running around in the dog run. The pet amenities were well provided, and we were able to fully enjoy the Nasu Highlands. Although the typhoon limited where we could go, it was still a wonderful stay. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

Oguni Auberge Waita-kan The Onsen was amazing, and the game cuisine was delicious. We’ll be back!

The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the view of Kobe’s downtown from the bath made it feel like a semi-open-air bath—it was truly wonderful! There was no noise at all, so it was very quiet and I could relax comfortably. Breakfast was on the top floor with an amazing view, and I felt great lounging on the stylish sofas! The Chinese rice porridge was delicious, and I was happy there were lots of side dishes to go with it. Having roast beef in the morning also felt luxurious—absolutely fantastic. With direct access from the station and an affordable supermarket right below the Hotel, everything was convenient and comfortable.

My wife and I stayed in the Dog Lovers Room with our two Italian Greyhounds. Among the official hotels around Disney, this is the only one where you can stay with your dogs and also use an on-site temporary boarding facility (the Dog Cabin), which was a huge help. There is a dedicated check-in counter for guests with dogs, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary grooming services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. The Dog Cabin feels very secure with a double-lock system (a key for the dedicated area plus a key for each individual cabin), and it was very clean thanks to regular staff patrols. We could leave them there with peace of mind during the breakfast buffet. The guest rooms are completely separated from the general floors and are spacious enough that even four people could likely stay comfortably. We also appreciated having a separate bathroom with a washing area, apart from the toilet (which is combined with the sink). Amenities were well stocked, including pet pads, wet wipes, trash bags, towels for the cabin, and a water bowl. While you can feel that parts of the building are somewhat dated, getting around can be a little confusing due to the large property and annex buildings, and dogs are not allowed to walk inside so walks need to be outside around Maihama—staff at reception, housekeeping, and restaurants were all pleasant and made our stay very comfortable. In addition to the room rate, there is an extra special cleaning fee (JPY 5,500), a pet fee (JPY 2,500 per dog), and parking (JPY 3,100), but given the peace of mind and facilities provided, we found it well worth it. We would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you for letting us stay in a Room on the 31st floor with such a wonderful view. We arrived at the Hotel at night, and unfortunately it was rainy the next morning, but we were still able to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Kobe Port. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

This was our first stay in the detached annex called Suimeiso. The room was very spacious, and the in-room Japanese meal was exquisite with just the right portion size. The suite also had both an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so we could soak while listening to the river’s gentle flow. We were also able to use the annex-only open-air bath, and relax comfortably in the lounge. Even our 1-year-old child enjoyed it, and the staff were wonderful. We also enjoyed shopping on-site, the Pierre Hermé café, a tea café, and the library. We would love to try a different room next time.

We stayed during the summer vacation period. There were many families with children, and the pool was crowded, but we still enjoyed it. As other Reviews mention, the in-house Facilities are undeniably dated, but everything felt clean and it was a pleasant stay. There may not be many power outlets. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong, so the Room felt warm. I didn’t have high expectations for breakfast, but it exceeded them—the open-kitchen omelets were delicious, and I especially liked the chilled yuzu ramen. For those who enjoy a drink in the morning, there was also wine available, so I think you can relax. If you’re looking to have fun nearby with access to a pool included, this is a good option. We would like to stay again.

I stayed here on a business trip to visit the Mie Prefectural Government Office. At first I considered staying near the station, but many hotels there don’t have parking. This property offers free parking, and I was also interested in the private bath. They had an affordable room with breakfast included, so I chose to stay here. I accidentally drove past the parking entrance and entered from the MaxValu side. Since there is a 24-hour supermarket next door, there aren’t many restaurants nearby (unlike around the station), but you can easily buy meals next door. I had no trouble finding dinner or something sweet. The private bath was great—I could relax and really enjoyed it. You reserve it by calling the front desk, which is a nice system. Breakfast also exceeded expectations: it seems to be mainly a one-plate set plus egg-over-rice and curry, and everything was delicious. The white rice in particular was excellent. There was a poster saying it comes from contracted farmers; I think it would be even better if that were displayed more prominently. Just one thing: I didn’t realize the bread was placed further inside, so I missed it—too bad. I’d definitely stay again when I come back to Tsu City. By the way, “Shell Reine,” a Mie souvenir madeleine, is also sold at the MaxValu next door, which makes buying souvenirs convenient as well.

We stayed here with four adults—my parents and us as a couple. This was our second visit, and we were able to relax thanks to the seasonal cuisine and wide selection of drinks. Since everyone has different preferences, the all-inclusive plan made it easy for all of us to enjoy both the meals and the baths, making it a truly wonderful trip.
