I stayed here with my husband and our dog. The owner is a true dog lover, and our dog was able to relax and feel at ease. The Accommodation was very clean, thoroughly well maintained down to every corner, which made our stay very comfortable. And most of all, the bath was a wonderful surprise! The open-air bath was fantastic. Since we were the only guests this time, we could enjoy it at our preferred times and soak in peace—it felt like a real luxury. Dinner was Italian cuisine: appetizers, two pasta dishes, Nasu beef, and dessert. Everything was truly delicious. For breakfast we could choose between pizza muffins and French toast, but we wanted both so we ordered both and shared. The French toast in particular was outstanding! We had a relaxing and enjoyable time with our dog, making it a very satisfying one-night trip. We would love to visit again.

This was our second stay, and even though we arrived nearly two hours later than planned, thank you very much for welcoming us so kindly. Both the Room and the bath were very clean. We were a bit concerned about mosquitoes given the season, but effective measures with a wonderful fragrance were in place, so we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. The sound system in the loft theater room was excellent—it truly felt like being in a movie theater. We were also shown to a private dining room, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the delicious food at our own pace, almost like in-Room dining. All of the staff were courteous from start to finish, and we had a truly wonderful time. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

This Hotel was the very purpose of our trip to Kagawa Prefecture. We didn’t do any sightseeing at all, but from the bottom of my heart I’m so glad we came. Throughout the entire Facility, we could feel the owners’ attention to detail and refined sense of beauty in every corner, and at the same time we were truly grateful for their warm hospitality toward guests. Vintage and modern, Japan and Europe—things that are completely different were seamlessly combined through their sensibility. The interior design, the cuisine, and even its presentation were all wonderful and deeply inspiring. The old sofa in our Room had real character, was very comfortable to sit on, and matched perfectly with the modern furniture. Over time, the linen has developed such a beautiful color! I could really understand why the owner is so particular about that sofa. Also, since I’ve been considering buying the chair at the writing desk myself, I was happy to be able to try how it feels to sit in it. Everything they have selected was fascinating and exciting. Above all, their personalities are wonderful—we definitely want to come back again. (A stylish husband and an adorable wife!!) We’d love to stay in other Rooms as well, and see the garden in a different season too. For us, this was a truly meaningful encounter that brought new insights. In-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room made it a completely private space. The meals were also delicious. It was an Accommodation where families with small children could relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about others. Since it was difficult to apply makeup, I think it would be helpful to have a handheld mirror.

It’s a 1 hour 45 minute trip from the station, and since you can’t miss the one bus, getting there is a bit nerve-racking.\nBut the hot springs are excellent, the food is excellent—everything is top-notch!\nThere are five private baths where you can enjoy free-flowing alkaline simple sulfur Onsen that feels like a beauty serum.\nAnd the cuisine is incredible. Using Shizuoka-certified ingredients, the pairings and cooking methods are creatively arranged, with great care taken so you can enjoy the presentation and textures as well.\nThere are also several carefully selected types of sake to match the dishes—fine dining and Onsen indulgence in the middle of the mountains!\nThank you very much.

This was our first stay as a family trip. The meals, the baths, and the hospitality were all extremely satisfying. Every dish was made with local ingredients, and the seasoning brought out the natural flavors—exactly to our taste. We also enjoyed relaxing in the log-cabin-style restaurant while looking out at the garden. We used only the open-air bath. Even though it was raining, the water temperature was just right and helped us unwind. *Since it’s completely outdoors, those who dislike insects may want to avoid it in summer—they do fly around. Takechintei, located within the vast Mifuneyama Rakuen grounds, was a wonderful Accommodation filled with warm hospitality. The staff’s thoughtful care was exceptional, and we were truly grateful for service beyond what we could have hoped for. Although July was already extremely hot, the breeze in the forest was pleasant, and we enjoyed a refreshing walk among the trees. The meals were also a delight, with the chef’s finest dishes beautifully presented on carefully selected tableware such as Arita ware. Some dishes felt slightly sweet to me as someone from the Kanto region, but I felt they were of a refined restaurant quality that goes beyond typical Onsen Ryokan cuisine. Next time, I would love to stay during the season when 5,000 cherry blossoms or azaleas are in bloom. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed the pool for over two hours, and it was a very satisfying stay for our children. The Room had a calm interior, and we were able to relax. The all-inclusive drinks and light snacks were delicious, and this has become one of our favorite Accommodations. We would love to come back again.

We stayed here with three generations, from my spouse and me to our grandchildren. The meals were Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh Seto Inland Sea seafood expertly prepared in a Western style, and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of our stay, so the grandchildren couldn’t use the pool they had been looking forward to. However, the rain miraculously stopped at night, and we were able to enjoy the evening events such as a bubble show, lantern release, and fireworks. With reasonable Accommodation Fees and attentive staff, this is a Hotel we highly recommend.

During our stay, the staff’s hospitality was truly outstanding, and we are sincerely grateful. They kindly and flexibly consulted with us about the early-morning visit and breakfast times, and they were happy to accommodate sudden changes. There is no TV in the Room, but the quietness was actually very comfortable, and we enjoyed a much-needed digital detox. The sounds of insects and cicadas in the early morning made our trip even more enriching. The Room, making beautiful use of a traditional kura storehouse, blends history and modern comfort seamlessly—our stay itself felt like a special experience. We were also deeply comforted by your thoughtful gesture of providing “Misogi-no-Yu” for guests who are unable to visit Futami Okitama Shrine before praying at Ise Jingu. If we have the opportunity, we would love to return again next time. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time!

This Accommodation in Kusatsu, one of Japan’s premier Onsen destinations, offered such outstanding cuisine that it made us want to visit for the food rather than the Onsen. One beautifully crafted dish after another was served on a lovely white lacquered table. Everything was delicious and a delight for both the eyes and the palate. Breakfast was equally satisfying, and you could really feel the care and effort put into it from early morning. Of course, the Onsen was also excellent, with a location right in front of Jizo Onsen. The three private baths with free-flowing hot spring water were not by Reservation; instead, we checked availability on a tablet and entered when open, which let us enjoy all three without any stress. The Room was spacious, and the staff’s attentive yet unobtrusive service made everything very comfortable. After returning home, I’ve been recommending it to my friends as a must-visit.

We stayed here as a couple. The Room was a Japanese-style room where we could relax, and the staff were very courteous, which we truly appreciated. There was information saying the Onsen has radium-rich water that is good for the body, so we went in three times. The meals were so delicious and beautifully presented that we wanted to take photos. We would definitely love to visit again.

In the wonderful space created by the owners, we were able to spend a truly relaxing and restorative time. Enjoying their thoughtfully prepared dishes—down to the seasonings—paired with local sake and served in locally made tableware was a real luxury... The journey there, transferring between local trains and buses, also became a memorable part of our trip. We would love to visit again someday in a different season. From arrival through checkout the next day and all the way until we drove home, we were treated with exceptionally attentive, outstanding service, and truly enjoyed a perfect holiday. The food was simply superb, and the butler’s thoughtfulness and service were also excellent—thank you so much to all the staff. We would love to stay again!

I had such a wonderful impression when I stayed here before that this is my second visit. From the welcome sweets to the Japanese-Western fusion dinner and the hearty breakfast, everything was delicious. All meals were brought to our Room, so there was no need to change clothes, and we could relax completely. I also appreciated that when I informed them in advance about ingredients I can’t eat, they accommodated me properly. During our 3-day/2-night stay, all of the staff took great care of us. I had the chance to speak with five staff members, and every one of them provided excellent service! They were polite and warm, and I truly felt well looked after. The only thing I noticed was that the shower drainage was a little slow. Even so, overall it was a lovely Accommodation where we felt very comfortable. Taking an open-air bath early in the morning while listening to bush warblers singing was an unforgettable experience. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

This is a truly wonderful Hotel. The service, the Room, and the breakfast are all exceptionally attentive, and there are delightful surprises everywhere. The art pieces throughout the Hotel are also fascinating. It’s fun just to walk around and look at them, and it’s especially nice that whenever I spoke to the staff, they gave thoughtful, well-informed answers. Thank you very much.

The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.

Last year’s stay left such a lasting impression that I made a Reservation six months in advance this year for a Multiple Night Stay (two nights). Time passes quietly here. Greenery outside the window, birdsong, and thoughtful, understated hospitality. Not flashy—just being here makes you feel your mind and body unwind. This is the kind of time that makes you think, “I want to come back.” Once again this year, I was moved by the same unchanging comfort.
