This was our family’s first trip to Amakusa, Kumamoto, and we stayed here. We had been looking forward to it even before we arrived, and the Accommodation was even more stylish than we expected—everywhere we went, we could feel the great sense of design. The Room was very clean, and the view from the villa was amazing. There were activities to enjoy both indoors and outdoors, and our child had a wonderful time. We rented a BBQ set, and everything was provided—so it was incredibly convenient to just bring our own ingredients and enjoy. The older male staff member at reception was very friendly and kind, and we also enjoyed hearing various stories from him. Unfortunately he wasn’t there when we checked out, so we couldn’t thank him in person, which was a real shame—but we’d love to make another opportunity to visit Amakusa and stay again. There is nothing around the Accommodation, so it’s very quiet; we could also enjoy a sky full of stars, making for an extremely relaxing time. Since there isn’t anywhere within shopping distance from the Accommodation, it might be even more comfortable if reception offered some snacks or if light meals were available at a café or restaurant—but overall it truly was a completely satisfying stay and an unforgettable place. The breakfast was delicious. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and we were happy that the menu changed little by little. The front desk staff were wonderful.

It was a highly satisfying stay. The Room was clean and well maintained, and we were able to relax comfortably. The staff were polite and kind, and we truly felt their warm hospitality. For dinner, we could choose kamameshi from three options and enjoyed it freshly made. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes to go with rice, so satisfying that we ended up eating more than usual. Although the bath is not a natural Onsen, it was spacious and very relaxing, helping us fully recover from travel fatigue. The location is excellent and very convenient as a base for sightseeing. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Arashiyama.

This was my second stay, and I was completely satisfied again! I really enjoyed the welcome drink, the Onsen, and breakfast as well! When I visit Morioka, I’d love to stay here again.

It was a truly relaxing experience. The view from the room was spectacular. The bath was an open-air bath surrounded by the forest, offering a heavenly experience. You can enjoy different types of baths with unique atmospheres. At night, you can marvel at the star-filled sky. Meals featured an abundance of local ingredients from the prefecture, and drinks were reasonably priced. I had an amazing time and would love to visit this accommodation again. Iwate is vast, and there are still so many places I want to explore!

I stayed here again following last year. From check-in, the staff welcomed me with friendly, familiar service. I accidentally left my music player behind the bedding, but they called me and kindly arranged to send it back. Thank you very much.

It was excellent. The meals were delicious. The Onsen was free-flowing from the source, and the water temperature was just right.

The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, the twin Room was spacious, there was a large public bath, and Shuttle Service was available. From the moment I saw photos of this Hotel, I somehow knew I wanted to stay here. Everything is spotless down to the smallest details, and you can truly feel their thoughtful hospitality. It’s close to the Great Torii Gate, making it convenient for an evening or early-morning stroll. After checking out this time, when I went back to pick up my luggage, I ended up resting in the lobby for over two hours due to mild heat exhaustion. I’m sincerely grateful for how kindly and attentively the staff took care of me. I’m planning to stay again in November.

While looking for Kurokawa Onsen, I came across Yamazaki Ryokan. I stayed there during my visit, and it was an even more wonderful Accommodation than I had imagined. I would definitely like to stay again! - The Shuttle Service to and from the Kurokawa bus stop was available, which I really appreciated. - The building itself was very clean and well maintained, and housekeeping was thorough. It felt reassuring—like coming back to my family home—and I was able to relax in comfort. - All of the staff welcomed us with smiles at all times, and their service was truly outstanding. The warm, homey atmosphere throughout made it very pleasant. - During my stay, I could enjoy the Onsen anytime as much as I wanted, at whatever time suited me. It really helped soothe away my fatigue afterward. - Dinner was generous in portion size, each dish showed thoughtful creativity, and everything was genuinely delicious. - Breakfast also featured many carefully prepared dishes, and I was very satisfied. Overall, I could truly feel the staff’s hospitality throughout my stay and enjoyed a wonderfully luxurious time. If I have the chance to visit again, I would absolutely like to stay here.

We traveled with a child, and they thoughtfully provided a diaper trash bin and a kids’ amenity set. Since we have a child, we requested a Japanese-style Room; it was spacious, and sleeping on floor bedding felt safe. The dining area was also completely private, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious! In the private space, we could relax without running into other guests. It seemed to have been renovated, and overall it was a clean Ryokan.

Wearing a hat in the misty drizzle, I will never forget being able to fully enjoy the beautiful mountain stream and its free-flowing Onsen straight from the source. The abundant volume of hot water, like a geyser, was truly the height of luxury and made for an exceptional holiday. However, it was disappointing that some young people got heavily drunk in the river bath late at night and were shouting loudly, but when I reported it you responded immediately, which I appreciated. I was deeply impressed by your dedication to maintaining order at this traditional Ryokan even at the expense of sleep. I understand there are limits to judging guests in advance, but I feel it would be better to provide thorough reminders beforehand. Sorry for my blunt suggestion. I know it must be difficult with so many different kinds of guests. Still, I thought that filtering out preventable trouble as much as possible would also make things easier for your staff. After all, I want to enjoy this beautiful stream-side hot spring source in peace—and that tranquility is what makes the wonderful cuisine and Room truly shine.

The Onsen was excellent, and every dish was delicious. The white shrimp rice cooked in a pot was especially outstanding and truly memorable. The building felt a bit dated, but the staff’s kind and attentive service more than made up for it, making our stay very comfortable.

All staff are Japanese and very courteous. Their service is excellent, so you can feel at ease. The breakfast here is outstanding!

This was my second stay, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with attentive staff as well. Another highlight is having dinner served in your Room. There seem to be many repeat guests, and the large number of female guests may be proof of how good the food is. The Onsen is also wonderful, making it easy to unwind and relax—so I can see myself becoming a repeat guest. As an aside, access by car is convenient, but if you are traveling by train, getting to Yubiso Station is not very convenient, so it’s best to check in advance.

I stayed on a windy day. Although I lit the fire in the outdoor fire pit, sparks were flying everywhere due to the wind, so I quickly put it out. The strong wind made it feel very cold, and I couldn't stay outside for long to tend to the fire, which was a bit disappointing. For the barbecue grill, we only grilled bread and sausages for breakfast. (When there was no sunlight, even this grilling task felt too cold as standing outside at night with the wind hitting my body was unbearable.) The sauna had already been preheated upon our arrival, so we could relax and use it right away—thank you! After enjoying the sauna, we also used the bath. The spacious bathroom and bathtub were very comfortable. The provided warm jacket-like garment kept us cozy—it was great! Additionally, we loved the indoor fireplace here. It’s surrounded by bricks with a wide opening. Watching the flames leisurely turned out to be more enjoyable than expected; in fact, it satisfied us more than using an outdoor fire pit. Due to our misunderstanding during research beforehand, we thought check-in would be contactless and arrived late without realizing that staff were waiting at the entrance for us—we panicked upon arrival when we realized this mistake. We sincerely apologize for that incident. In summer stays without fireplaces or stoves available elsewhere before this trip where accommodations were entirely contactless led us astray into assuming similar arrangements here too—but facilities like stoves/fireplaces/saunas often require initial face-to-face explanations regarding safety measures which indeed proved helpful during our first visit here! While subsequent visits might allow non-contact check-ins if feasible—it’s understandable either way depending on preferences. Regarding other aspects: unfortunately one ceiling-mounted BOSE speaker wasn’t functional despite inquiries via chat support; however alternative Bluetooth speakers indoors sufficed instead though slightly disappointing initially especially since someone accompanying me wanted testing them specifically but overall manageable workaround existed nonetheless thankfully! Lastly nearby surroundings exploration revealed missed opportunity discovering sausage vending machine shop selling unique spiral-shaped pork products located mere moments away driving distance-wise regrettably overlooked amidst rushed schedule entering accommodation earlier yet noted firmly future revisit plans ensuring purchase next time around certainly happening surely anticipated eagerly forward-looking ahead optimistically excitedly planning accordingly prepared better informed now aware previously unknown detail learned valuable insight gained appreciated thoroughly enjoyed I often stay here when visiting Kobe because it’s in a quiet area of Kitano, and the spacious layout makes it very relaxing. It takes about 12–13 minutes to get into the city, but it’s an easy walk downhill (though the uphill walk back is tough). There are also restaurants on site, and during my two-night stay I was able to enjoy both Japanese and Western cuisine.

We stayed here for the first time on a birthday trip for my boyfriend, who loves saunas! We travel to many places, but this villa was beyond our expectations—absolutely amazing!! The Room, garden, and sauna were all very spacious and spotless, and the mountain views were incredible!! The BBQ dinner was delicious with excellent ingredients, and the portions were more than satisfying. The sweetfish rice for breakfast was also outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna a lot, and at night we had drinks while enjoying the bonfire and BBQ—it was truly a wonderful time! Above all, the staff’s service was exceptional!! I don’t usually write Reviews, but I wanted to share my gratitude for this wonderful Facility and the amazing staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back again, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

The Room, renovated from an old merchant house, still had a slightly aged feel, but it felt fresh and unique. The meals were all carefully prepared dishes, and we were very satisfied. All of the staff provided thoughtful service that anticipated our needs, which made our stay very comfortable.
