Although it’s a bit far from Shimoda Station, they offer not only a Shuttle Service from the station but also a Shuttle Service to Sotoura Beach. If you plan to relax nearby, you won’t feel inconvenienced at all even without renting a car. There is a complimentary drink bar inside the property, and it was great that we could even enjoy beer and highballs. The pool is also available, and all the staff were very kind and helpful. What stood out most was the excellent service for children. They handed out “Rock-Paper-Scissors Rally Cards,” and if kids won three times against staff members, they received fireworks. At night, we used them to have fun on the beach, and our child was absolutely delighted. Just as the Reviews we checked in advance said, this really is a wonderful Hotel. If we have another chance to visit Shimoda, we would definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay since 2018. As always, every dish at dinner was delicious, and I was very satisfied. The hospitality was also wonderful, and I truly appreciated the advice for visiting Matsumoto Castle the next day. Thanks to your guidance, we were able to sightsee smoothly without feeling the heat too much. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to stay with you in a different season. We visited for a summer vacation with my partner and to celebrate an early birthday. Compared with other Hotels in the same price range, we truly enjoyed an exceptional resort experience. We stayed in a Room with a private pool, and the Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail. In the spacious, spotless space, we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time thanks to the kind attentiveness of all the staff. Although there were a few minor issues due to recent typhoon operations, you responded flexibly and promptly. There were no problems during our stay—thank you very much for your thoughtful support. The day before coming to this Hotel, we stayed at another Marriott-affiliated property with a lion logo, but compared to that one, we were extremely satisfied with everything here—service, Facility, and meals! We will definitely visit again within a year!! Thank you for such a wonderful summer vacation.

The hot spring water is simply wonderful. I soaked in the Onsen at night and again in the morning, and was amazed at how smooth my skin felt. The Accommodation staff were kind and supportive, offering helpful advice and speaking gently to our children, which made us feel truly welcomed. Dinner hot pot came with more meat than we could finish. The menu featured many local specialties, which adults enjoyed, though some dishes seemed a bit challenging for children. The Facility has a sense of history, but it is fully air-conditioned, so we stayed comfortably cool.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the breakfast was delicious. I had a very comfortable stay.

There is a large supermarket across the street, making it very convenient. The breakfast is delicious! This Hotel is always busy, and I highly recommend it.

In a small Japanese-style room, I enjoyed the sweetness of local vegetables while imagining that merchants from long ago might have stayed here alone as well. Perhaps because of the terrain there is no railway, which may help create the town’s calm atmosphere. On the way back, when I was kindly given a ride on the bus toward Chichibu, I was deeply impressed by driving that was more considerate than anything I have ever experienced. Even on mountain roads, the driver’s smooth control never caused sudden tilts in any direction, and he consistently kept safely to the left edge of the road to allow oncoming traffic to pass. I wasn’t able to thank the driver when getting off, so please allow me to express my gratitude here.

This was my first trip to Hiroshima, and I stayed here. The Room was a traditional Japanese-style room, and some parts of the floor creaked, but it was very clean and I had a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The clam miso soup at breakfast was especially good, and since each table gets a full pot, I enjoyed several refills. Having that miso soup after visiting Itsukushima Shrine in the morning was absolutely amazing! The luggage storage service was also very helpful for sightseeing on Miyajima, as they even came to the pier to pick it up. Thanks to that, it became a wonderful trip to remember. I would definitely like to stay again.

This was my second stay this year, and I visited with my mother. My mother is nearing her 88th birthday, but she still has a great appetite and finished everything, even having seconds from the rice tub. I visited long ago with my mother and grandmother as well, so I feel truly happy to have an Accommodation we can return to across three generations—my grandmother, my mother, and me. Unfortunately it rained this time, but thanks to that the signature stones and garden trees were gently wet, letting us enjoy a different kind of beautiful scenery than usual. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

The lobster was incredibly delicious—I was genuinely surprised. I treated myself a bit by staying here, and many guests seemed to be regulars; the overall atmosphere was wonderful. I also appreciated being able to request Shuttle Service from/to Hakuba Station. This may have been just me missing it, but I would have appreciated it even more if makeup remover had been available in the Room or in the private bath.

I came back for a second visit right away!! As expected, this place was amazing! I was so happy that the proprietress remembered me. The meals were delicious as always! The hot spring water was wonderful! I’m already hoping to come back for a third time!

I read the reviews and was looking forward to the food, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Instead of just a small portion in the middle of a large plate, each dish was beautifully presented and generously served, with every bite being absolutely delicious—100% satisfaction guaranteed! I wish restaurants in Tokyo would take note (laughs). The conversation with the owner was delightful, and their attentiveness and thoughtfulness were deeply appreciated. Thank you for coming out to the car in the rain to help with our luggage. We were able to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace in a calm atmosphere. I’m a light eater, so I’m very sorry for not finishing everything. When we visit Shiga again, we would love to stay at GUZU.

The French dinner was very stylish, and the taste was a perfect 10. Breakfast was completely different—Japanese cuisine. The overnight-dried blackthroat seaperch in particular was unbelievably delicious and truly moving. For our family, who all love alcohol, the all-inclusive plan was fantastic. We were happy to be able to enjoy drinks whenever we wanted. This Accommodation doesn’t have an Onsen, but you can receive free tickets for a nearby Onsen. However, since it was summer, going outside to the Onsen left us drenched in sweat. This time, the bath in our Room might have been enough. The Facility was very clean, and the staff were wonderful—an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again!

We had a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious, and we were satisfied with the service. Since the Hotel is deep in the mountains, we felt a little uneasy on the way there, but we would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

The facilities, bath area, and Room were all clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. There was a great variety of food we enjoyed, along with many kinds of alcohol and drinks—it felt like a luxurious Business Hotel. The staff were very kind, and check-in and payment were smooth. The weather wasn’t great, but it was still a fun golf trip. The misty garden had an almost magical atmosphere and was lovely too.

I was extremely satisfied with all the Facilities in the property. The all-inclusive plan and the amenities bar were both excellent. You kindly shared information and exchanged messages with me about dinner, the lounge, and more. No other Hotel has ever done this for me, so I truly appreciated it. The view during my stay was of Tokyo Skytree Town, the Room was spacious, and I could fully relax both visually and physically with the comfortable bed, view bath, two sinks, and open outlook. My plan included breakfast and dinner. The dinner in particular had such generous portions that I couldn’t finish it all, and it was delicious with a wonderful atmosphere. Including breakfast, I enjoyed Sizzler again for the first time in a while and was very satisfied. Once again, thank you very much to all the staff who supported me—not only on the day of my stay but even beforehand. I will definitely visit again.

I stayed for two nights starting July 22. This time, my Room faced the Nasu mountain range, so the view was wonderful. The meals were delicious again. Since this was my second stay in July, you kindly changed the menu for me. Next time, I’ll visit with my children and their family.

I asked the front desk several times during this stay, and each time they kindly assisted me with a smile, for which I am very grateful.
