It was simply the best, the kindness of the hostess, the food, the bath were great, offering a relaxation not found in large Ryokans or Hotels, allowing our family of five to have the best time. Thank you very much. Since my teenage years, I have been surfing in Usami, and now in my 60s, I am grateful for the wonderful time spent with my family.

Due to a sudden change in my work schedule, I made a reservation and stayed on the same day. The building and facilities show signs of use but are well-maintained with no issues. The atmosphere and service felt homey in a way! Since I had an early departure, I chose the No Meals Included option, but the dining area was open with an izakaya menu until 9:00 PM. This is a reasonably priced hotel that caters well to businessmen and craftsmen in this industrial town. Without a car navigation system, you might need some courage at the final turn towards the hotel (laughs). I'll remember this as my top choice for stays in this area for work!

No matter which Super Hotel you visit, it is a reliable place to stay. Breakfast is free and satisfactory. However, this time, I felt the hotel price was too high.

Dinner was an all-you-can-eat sukiyaki, and I was amazed by the incredibly tender and delicious meat. Breakfast included a variety of side dishes that went perfectly with unlimited rice, plus grilled meat in the morning! However, the site did not mention that dinner would include crab and sashimi platters or that breakfast offered unlimited shirasu (whitebait) and eggs. Even considering those points, the meals were absolutely fantastic. Additionally, during both breakfast and dinner, there were 2L bottles of juice available for unlimited refills (hot coffee and tea were also provided). Of course, the bath was amazing too. Unlike some reviews mentioning private baths being too hot, it was at a perfect temperature where you could comfortably soak for 30 minutes!

Parking is one of the key factors for motorcyclists. For large motorcycles, ease of parking can vary depending on whether the surface is paved or gravel. At Hanan, the spacious parking area and the ability to see my bike from the Room provided peace of mind. The meals were delicious, and the stew was exceptional. I stayed at the cottage with capsule beds again this year, just like last year. I like the atmosphere, and the capsule beds were spacious and comfortable, so I decided to make a reservation at the same place again. Last year, the cottage was not heated before check-in, and since it is a container, even with two air conditioners and a fan heater running at full capacity, it was cold and the room did not warm up easily. The bed was too cold, and I couldn't sleep well, so this time I brought blankets and a light down comforter, and I was able to sleep comfortably! This year, the room was warm at check-in, and despite being told it was a cold wave, it felt less cold than last year, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. The bath is also interesting, as it is styled like a Goemon bath. In winter, you need to fill it with the highest temperature water, or it will be too cold to enter. The location and scenery are very good. In February, you can also see the fireworks at Lake Kawaguchi, so it's quite nice! There are no amenities like towels or toothbrushes, so your luggage will increase when staying, but considering the indoor atmosphere, novelty, location, and scenery, it's a very good place. For those who are sensitive to cold, cold weather protection is essential! I will use it again!

The facility is old and not an Onsen, but it is located right in front of the ski resort, and the compact feel of the facility made skiing quite convenient. Also, all the staff were very pleasant. I stayed for two nights, and since the breakfast menu changes slightly, it doesn't get boring. For dinner, one night was a buffet and for an additional charge on another night we had Western cuisine, which was satisfying.

Bus stops for both Oita Bus and Kamenoi Bus are nearby, and it’s also just a short walk to the large Yumetown supermarket and Takegawara Onsen, making the location very convenient. The Room is equipped with enough cookware and appliances to live comfortably on your own. In addition to air conditioning, there was also a heater, which was very helpful. Having a microwave in the Room is great. Guest Rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floors, and there is no elevator, so I was a bit worried at first, but it wasn’t an issue for my two-night stay. The male staff member at the front desk was also very kind, polite, and pleasant.

We stayed as a family of four (myself, eldest son, eldest daughter, and youngest daughter), and my daughters were delighted with how spacious and clean it was. The option to choose between 2 beds and 2 futons was also a nice touch. Although we only used the electric kettle, I think the coffee maker would be appreciated by coffee lovers. Having two sinks (which was a great help for my daughters) and a non-unit bath was also very nice. Personally, I would have appreciated a washbasin in the bath. (When multiple people use the bath, using and adding water to the bathtub helps circulate and keep the water clean.) There is no parking lot, but there are several coin-operated parking lots nearby, so it wasn't a problem. (It's a bit tight for an Alphard class vehicle, though...) When I visit Kyoto again, I would like to stay at Kyo Machiya Stays "Rin" (including other properties of the same brand).

This was my first time staying here. We stayed in a charming Room located in a renovated storehouse at this innovative Ryokan with a traditional dining experience. The location is close to popular tourist spots like Kodaiji Temple and Nanzenji Temple, making it ideal for those who enjoy walking. The front desk staff, originally from Nepal, provided impeccable Japanese-style hospitality, which was impressive and pleasant. For breakfast, since we enjoyed Kyoto cuisine the night before, we opted for morning meals at a nearby café instead of the Japanese bento offered by the Ryokan. It was just right—I had toast, but they also offered options like curry rice. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

Great value for money, and the staff were very helpful. There is no bath or toilet in the Room, but the toilet and sink were just outside the Room, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The bathing facilities were shower rooms only, but some shower room doors were hard to close. Free drinks were available (water, coffee, black tea, and tea), and I also used the first-floor café for breakfast—it was delicious. The location was a bit hard to find and I got slightly lost. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

I usually wake up at 6:00 without an alarm, but I was able to sleep until 7:30 for the first time in a while and almost overslept. It's an old-fashioned Hotel with no outlet by the bedside and no lace curtains, but it's within an acceptable range. I would like to use it again. Thank you very much.

It was my first time staying at a villa, and it was amazing! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for six people. Although seasonings were an additional charge, essentials like ice, BBQ charcoal, laundry detergent, and more were provided, so there was no inconvenience! The parking lot requires parallel parking on a slope which might be nerve-wracking for beginners—reversing in is recommended! We ran out of plastic wrap midway through our stay. Also, since several people were cooking or preparing for the BBQ together, having an extra set of knives and cutting boards would have been even more helpful. I’m planning to stay for two nights next year!

This was my third visit, but it was my first time experiencing rainbow trout fishing and firewood chopping. I was surprised that such valuable experiences, which could easily be offered as optional paid activities, were included in the original Accommodation Fee. The foil-grilled rainbow trout I caught myself was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly kind, spoke warmly with smiles, and their gentle demeanor created a soothing atmosphere. When I couldn't figure out how to use the BBQ grill for dinner and the charcoal went out once, the staff kindly assisted me, for which I am very grateful. Also, the breakfast the next morning was amazing—everything tasted fantastic! It was unfortunate that the outdoor bath couldn't be used due to renovation work, but I definitely want to stay here again next time.

It would have been better if there was a dryer in the Room. The Room and bathroom were clean. As a smoker, I went out to the balcony, but it would be perfect if the balcony could be cleaned a little more. For those coming by car, there is ample parking space, and nearby you can find dining options like eateries and yakitori restaurants. For shopping, there is a Lawson convenience store about a 10-minute walk away.
