We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday. The meals, Room, and baths helped us unwind from everyday fatigue—if anything, I ended up enjoying myself the most. The ingredients and the care put into each one were outstanding. Everything was delicious. If I had to mention one facility-related point: after leaving the sauna in the large public bath, it would be even better if there were an option not only for a shower but also something like a hand bucket to pour cold water over yourself (even without a cold plunge pool). Above all, the staff were wonderful. Although this Accommodation has only just opened, everyone was highly experienced. We were truly impressed by the hospitality and attentive service. My parents love chatting and spoke to you a lot, but you responded kindly and thoughtfully. My parents were very happy as well. Thank you very much. We will definitely return.

At check-in, the front desk staff gave a courteous explanation, and I had a pleasant stay. I saw other Reviews saying it falls between a high-end Hotel and a Business Hotel, and that was exactly right. The breakfast area was a bit small and felt crowded, but the food was delicious. In particular, the grilled tuna collar was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

It is a wonderful, luxurious Hotel, but this time the view was completely blocked by a building wall right in front of the Room, so please take this into consideration next time.

Located in a serene natural setting, this accommodation offers an escape from everyday life. Staying here while listening to the sound of the flowing river is truly soothing. The onsen with natural hot spring water is at the perfect temperature, allowing you to relax for as long as you like. My daughter was delighted to play with a wild raccoon. Although we only had breakfast, it was well-balanced and gentle on the body in both content and portion size. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, making it a place we’d love to visit again next time with dinner included!

Hakuba Happo Onsen is located at the western edge of the Fossa Magna, and its rare mineral composition—due to exposed serpentinite—is said to be unusual in Japan. As it was the off-season (summer), I was able to relax and enjoy the large public bath on my own. Dinner was authentic French cuisine, and breakfast featured galettes. The one-night Plan with dinner and breakfast for one person, priced just under 20,000 yen, felt both luxurious and great value. In winter, many international skiers visit, so Hakuba may have plenty of Hotels and lodges where you can enjoy excellent meals. The Accommodation owner kindly came to pick me up at Hakuba Station even for a single guest. While being served by a wonderful madam during dinner, I enjoyed Nagano-produced wine. The Hotel itself is quite old, but even taking that into account, it was a very good-value stay. It was also conveniently located—about 1–2 hours by bus or train—to Nagano, Matsumoto, and Itoigawa Station on the Sea of Japan side along the Itoigawa–Shizuoka Tectonic Line. The moment you enter the Room, a pleasant fragrance greets you, and the space is impeccably clean, creating a very comfortable environment from the first impression. The view from the large windows was stunning even on a rainy day, making it easy to forget everyday life. It left us wondering how amazing it would be on a sunny day, giving us something to look forward to for future visits. The shampoo in the bathroom had a lovely scent and was popular with the kids as well. Additionally, there were plenty of power outlets throughout the Room, combining high design aesthetics with convenience. One thing to note is about using the projector and Bluetooth speaker available in the Room. While instructions are provided, they might be challenging for those not familiar with such devices. Also, if you log into YouTube during your stay, it does not automatically log out upon checkout—so this requires attention before leaving.

The first birthday of my first boyfriend. He wanted to eat homemade food, so I was looking for a hotel with a kitchen. It was close to the station, had a supermarket, and the room had a separate bath and toilet, and was spacious, so I decided immediately. When I mentioned the birthday in the comment section at the time of reservation, I received a kind email asking if there was anything they could help with at the time of confirmation. They kindly listened to various requests, helped with a whole cake, held luggage at check-in, and consulted on champagne glasses and room decoration. I was able to pay in advance for check-in, so when I visited with my boyfriend, we only needed guidance inside the hotel. I am truly grateful for all the attention to detail. I thought I would like to stay not only on special days but also for regular use. The cute female staff who guided us from the email to the hotel. And other staff who supported us. I was able to spend the best memorable day with my boyfriend. Thank you very much.

We stayed for four nights. The Accommodation was very clean, well maintained, and well equipped, so we had a comfortable stay. We used the second floor, but a foreign family was staying on the third floor and we were quite bothered by noise at night; that was our only complaint. Next time, we would like to stay on the third floor.

It felt like being invited to someone's apartment. The regular beds were, of course, comfortable, and even the compact bunk beds provided a cozy sleep—perfect for kids. While it took some time to fill the bathtub, everything else was smooth. The price isn’t particularly cheap, so whether it’s cost-effective depends on your purpose. The kitchen is user-friendly and ideal if you want to enjoy cooking your own meals during your stay.

I have stayed here many times. The warm, heartfelt hospitality always makes me want to return. This is a comfortable extended-stay Hotel with a washer-dryer, refrigerator, microwave, IH cooktop, and mini kitchen, all kept very clean.

The high ceilings and spacious Room made it easy to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking at the large table. The bathroom was also spacious, and you can soak while looking out at the garden, giving you a taste of island life in Amami. It’s conveniently located for access to Tomori Beach and the northernmost lighthouse, so I thought staying one night on this side would be a great idea as well. (I visit Amami every year.) Entry is by passcode, and check-in/out can be done on an iPad, so we didn’t meet anyone, but it wasn’t inconvenient at all. I think this is a wonderful Accommodation where you can have a great time with friends or with family. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The living room is spacious, there are many guest rooms, a large TV, a pool, sauna, and barbecue facilities. It was enjoyable without needing to travel abroad. It was unfortunate that the knives were not sharp enough to prepare fish. I would love to stay here again.

The moment I opened the door, I couldn't help but exclaim at the sense of freedom! The stylish and extraordinary atmosphere made me excited, and I had an enjoyable time throughout my stay. The large projector screen and excellent sound system were particularly impressive. The sound quality was so good that it felt like being at a live concert, and playing my favorite music at high volume, combined with the quality of the accommodation, made my heart race! The spacious grounds and the privacy from neighboring houses allowed for a unique way to enjoy the accommodation. Having an Onsen was a delightful bonus, as I could enjoy it as many times as I wanted at my preferred timing. I even woke up early in the morning, just like at a Ryokan, to soak in the Onsen. I had bought some bread from a nearby bakery for breakfast, and enjoying it with coffee while gazing at the garden was a blissful moment. Although I didn’t bring a dog, there was no pet smell, so I would recommend this accommodation even for those without pets, as long as they don’t have animal allergies. If I have another chance to visit the Izu Highlands, I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

Everything was beautifully organized, quiet, and very comfortable. I would love to visit again in a different season.

Recently, I stayed at GIFTHOUSE Sunomiya with my beloved dog. The Room was a private villa, offering an exceptional sense of privacy. We could relax without worrying about others and truly felt rejuvenated. The highlight was the wood-burning barrel sauna in the villa's courtyard. My partner and I took turns enjoying the sauna, followed by resting in the outdoor space surrounded by nature. The feeling of unwinding amidst greenery was incredibly refreshing. At night, we relaxed under a starry sky—a luxury you can't experience in everyday life. There was also a dog run where our dog could run freely and seemed to have so much fun. It was great to let our pet play in a completely private space. The villa itself was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and appliances, making it easy to cook meals. We enjoyed BBQs and leisurely breakfasts on the terrace while taking in the view of greenery through the large living room windows—such a lovely touch! Access from the city center wasn't too far either; it took about 90 minutes by car, which added to its appeal. The cost per person was around 30,000 yen, but considering this level of luxury, it felt worth every penny. I’d love to visit again for special occasions or relaxing weekend trips with my pet! The beautiful weather made the sunset views even more spectacular. The amenities were excellent, and we enjoyed the sauna, pool as a cold plunge, and even had a family karaoke competition.
