Because I stayed on a day with availability, I was able to use most of the shared facilities almost exclusively, so it was great to stay at a low price. The bath with an Onsen-like feel was also nice. Since the toilet and bath are shared, I think this is a good Accommodation as long as it’s not during busy periods.

Although the building is old, I felt that the Room and toilet were thoroughly cleaned. The large public bath has a circular tub in the center, and when we entered, someone who had been in before us was making a whirlpool for fun, which felt a bit awkward; but we also made a whirlpool and played with our son, and it became a great memory. We were very satisfied with the meals—we could enjoy curry, wanko soba, hatto soup, and more. I’m glad we stayed here.

Because the bath is in the Room, you can enjoy the Onsen without worrying about time. The meals were also visually appealing and delicious. However, because the property is located along a road, traffic noise was noticeable, and the bed springs pressed against my body and were painful while sleeping—these are the reasons I rated it 4.

We chose this Hotel because the cost was about 30,000 yen for two people with dinner and breakfast for one night. The Room was clean, and having a separate toilet and bathroom was a plus. The bathroom had a bathtub that could be filled, and there was also space outside the tub to wash—something we hadn’t seen in other Hotels. For dinner, we could choose from 10 menu options, and the buffet-style breakfast was also delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful as well. We would like to stay again if we have the chance.

I arrived a little early, and I truly appreciate how kindly all the staff treated me. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit the Amakusa area.

I visited Kamikoshiki Island for a 2-night, 3-day trip starting June 8. The Hotel I stayed at, “HOTEL AreaOne Koshiki Island,” was just steps from Sato Port Terminal—an unbeatable location and the perfect base for exploring the island. The Room was on the 5th floor of a six-story building. As soon as I opened the door, the comforting scent of tatami welcomed me. The warmth of sleeping on a futon again made me want to just stretch out and relax right away. Unfortunately, light rain fell through the second day due to a weather front—but even that added to the atmosphere of the trip. Turning on the TV, I could watch NHK plus four commercial channels clearly (BS/CS wasn’t available), and it was genuinely pleasant to spend some quiet time unwinding in the Room. Best of all was the large Onsen bath! I eased my travel fatigue in the spacious indoor bath, then moved to the open-air bath where a refreshing breeze flowed through. Soaking while listening to raindrops made for an especially memorable and satisfying moment. Breakfast was a generous buffet-style spread. Even though I had it two mornings in a row, there were thoughtful changes to keep things interesting, so each morning still felt fresh and exciting. From Kagoshima’s famous crispy satsuma-age fish cakes to other local flavors lined up beautifully, it was hard not to keep eating from early in the day. (I had dinner elsewhere, but with breakfast this good, I can only imagine dinner would be delicious too.) Then came morning on day three. When I opened the curtains—clear skies as if all that rain had been a lie! From my 5th-floor window stretched a vivid ocean view as far as I could see. The sparkling sea and grand island scenery took my breath away in an instant—an unforgettable sight. It turned into an amazing 2-night stay where I got to fully enjoy both rainy-day charm and brilliant blue skies over the sea—truly luxurious in every way.

Thank you as always for your kind support. The day before our stay, we found a great deal with the Iwate Discount, so we quickly made a Reservation. Thank you again for taking such good care of us, following on from last week! This time, the two of us enjoyed a luxurious stay in a spacious 24-tatami Japanese-style room and had a relaxing time. As always, the bathroom and toilet were thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. The proprietresses kindly spoke to us, and we were happy to receive the drink service mentioned in the Review! We also really appreciated the ice service, and the washing machine was convenient as well. Check-out is available until 1:00 PM, so I’d love to stay until then, but I always have plans and have never been able to—hopefully one day I can enjoy it right up to the latest time. We’ll be back again. Thank you!

It was really close to Gojo Subway Station, which was extremely convenient. We laid out the futons ourselves, but it wasn’t inconvenient at all and we stayed comfortably. The Room was compact, so we had to think a bit about where to put our luggage, but considering the value for money, we were more than satisfied. Being able to have drinks in the lounge area behind the front desk on the second floor was especially appreciated on hot days. Everyone we met—front desk staff and housekeeping—was polite and helpful.

The exterior looked like an older Hotel, but the Room had been renovated and the unit bath was clean, which was great. The staff were also very kind. It’s close to Sumoto Bus Center, and there is a supermarket and a convenience store right in front of the Hotel, which was convenient. Overall I was satisfied, but if I had to mention one thing, the Room only had a single blackout curtain, so when I opened it in the morning the sunlight came straight in—I wish there had been a sheer curtain as well. Still, I would like to stay here again.

There were several bathtubs, and the open-air bath was especially relaxing. At dinner, we enjoyed Echizen grated soba, and the sweetfish tempura—leaving a slight bitterness of the innards—felt perfect for early summer. For dessert, we were even served delicious Fukuian Marseille melon. Breakfast also featured a variety of Fukui specialties and was very enjoyable, and the milk pudding dessert had a refreshing finish. At breakfast, milk, apple juice, iced coffee, hot coffee, and more were available to drink freely. Natto, nori seaweed sheets, and furikake were offered on an “only take what you want” basis. Since some people don’t eat these depending on their preferences—and at other places I’ve wondered what happens when individually wrapped items are served but left untouched—I thought this was a great way to avoid waste. I didn’t need them because there were plenty of side dishes to go with two bowls of white rice. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

This was my first trip to Minamiaizu after visiting Aizu several times. I made a Reservation looking forward to the starry sky. The Accommodation had plenty of shared spaces filled with the warmth of wood and a playful touch. The dishes, a collaboration of French cuisine and local ingredients, were well received by my family. The portions were more than enough for us. We were able to see the starry sky as hoped, and it was truly moving. I’d love to visit again.

My cycling trip at an advanced age—traveling with my son. The gently seasoned meals were kind to my tired body, suited me very well, and I thought they were excellent. The seawater bath was also wonderful. A moment before bedtime. The head chef’s beautifully toned flute performance. Bravo. If I ever ride again... will that happen? If so, I would love to stay here again.

I booked the day before for a solo trip, and the service was more than sufficient. I’d like to stay again, so I hope you’ll expand to more areas, and it would be even better if there were space for a family of four to stay.

I had heard Nagasaki has many hills, and the climb on the way was steep, but the property is on higher ground and the night view was beautiful. The Room was a Japanese-style room with beds, and it was very relaxing. Since the price was low, I wasn’t expecting much, but it exceeded my expectations. There was a shampoo stand in the bathroom, and my daughter really enjoyed it. During the busy Obon season, only one elevator was operating (was one out of order?), so we often couldn’t get on, which was a downside; however, the food was delicious, and at this price I would like to stay again.

The building and interior feel a bit dated, but everything was clean overall, which was nice. As for the room, I’d like to see a bit more effort with cleaning the toilet… It wasn’t dirty, but while it looks fine from above, there were some dark stains visible from the side. I’d like it to be scrubbed thoroughly with foaming cleaner and a brush. Also, about the tea cups—I'd be happy if there were mugs instead of teacups. The Onsen and the breakfast on the top floor were exceptional! If you stay here, I definitely recommend adding breakfast.

The most affordable Hotel in the area, yet the quality is excellent. The Room is spacious, the bed size is more than sufficient, and of course it is kept very clean. The large public bath is also spacious, clean, and more than adequate. The only downside is that the air conditioner seems old and can be a bit noisy.

We stayed in an 11th-floor sea-side Room. The Hotel is right in front of the ocean, so the view was wonderful, and the sunrise was especially beautiful. Both the panoramic bath and the indoor bath were very relaxing. I also liked that the washing area was in a separate room.\nThe dining area is on the 12th floor, so we enjoyed our meal while looking out toward the mountains. At dinner, the staff offered to take photos for us, which made us happy. The food was delicious, and we were glad there were many Oita specialties. There were sashimi, karaage (Japanese fried chicken), toriten (Oita-style chicken tempura), dango-jiru soup, shiitake curry, sea bream dashi ochazuke, French toast, soft-serve ice cream, and many other tasty dishes.\nThe Room felt clean, and I liked laying out our own futons because it meant no one needed to come into the Room. All of the staff had a great atmosphere as well—overall we were extremely satisfied.

The Room was quiet and comfortable. This Hotel is very convenient, located close to the station.

I stayed one night with my son for his high school tournament. The Room was smaller than I expected, but the bed was spacious. The bathroom is a compact unit bath, so it felt too small to use. I’d recommend going to a nearby Onsen instead. Breakfast was free so I didn’t expect much, but everything was delicious. The hayashi rice was outstanding! Also, the owner at the front desk (?) was very friendly and welcoming. If I come to Obihiro again, I’d love to stay here again.

I stayed because the two-meal plan appealed to me. However, the Room did not even have a tea pot, and the TV was an old, small model, so it was not comfortable. The location was also hard to find.
