The Room had a stylish interior and was kept very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast venue also seemed open to the public, and it was spacious and spotless. The ochazuke was especially delicious. On the other hand, there seemed to be quite a few microwave-heated items, so having a few more freshly cooked hot dishes would make the experience even more satisfying.

This was my first visit. Above all, the open-air bath with its wonderful sense of openness surrounded by beautiful nature, and the atmosphere throughout the property, were truly lovely. I would definitely like to return in a different season. I was very satisfied.

I stayed here on a business trip. The staff were courteous and the breakfast was good, so overall I was mostly satisfied. As the Facility feels historic, there was a slight odor around the plumbing, and I noticed limescale inside the kettle, which made me hesitant to use it. If more detailed cleaning had been done, I would have rated it even higher. Still, I was generally satisfied and would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity next time.

Perhaps because it was a weekday stay, but although it is very close to Kokubuncho, it was very quiet, and I did not notice any of the noise mentioned in the Reviews, so I had a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient, the price is reasonable, and the Room was clean—I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. I was also happy that comics were always available at the 1st-floor front desk.

My spouse and I go on an Onsen trip every month. This time, since it was summer vacation, we traveled with three generations of our family. The Onsen water was the best we’ve ever experienced. Minami-Izu is a bit far, but we’d love to soak in that water again.

It was pouring rain in the Kanto area that day, so I wrapped my suitcase in plastic, but it got tangled around the wheels and made it hard to roll. When I arrived at the hotel, I borrowed scissors and struggled with the front desk staff to remove it, but we couldn’t, so I gave up and went out as it was. When I came back to check in, they greeted me with a wonderful smile and said, “We got the plastic off!”—and my suitcase was rolling smoothly again. I really appreciate how far they went to help. As for the hotel itself, it feels a bit old, but it’s well maintained and I didn’t feel any inconvenience. Breakfast is partly buffet-style; a Japanese set meal is prepared in advance, with lots of local dishes that were very delicious. It’s a little far from the station, but I think it’s well worth staying here. I’d like to use this hotel again.

It was a room with a private open-air bath, offering views of Gifu Castle and the gentle flow of the Nagara River below. I didn’t use the rooftop open-air bath or the large public bath—the in-room open-air bath alone was more than enough and I was completely satisfied. I also got to experience watching cormorant fishing, which made it feel truly special and out of the ordinary. Breakfast seemed to be Japanese-style only (?), but that was absolutely the right choice—it was delicious. It made me think, “I want to live in this room!”

I stayed on Sunday the 27th, and the front desk staff were kind and made me feel very welcome. I would like to stay again.

A stay given as a birthday gift! They also brought a cake as a surprise, and both the Onsen and the Room were spacious—everything was excellent.

There was no noise from neighboring rooms, and I had a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well. The large TV was also a great feature, and I was glad I could watch YouTube. It would be even better if makeup remover were provided among the amenities.

I usually stay at inexpensive Business Hotels, and this time as well I was able to keep the accommodation cost quite low, so I thought any Room would be fine. But when I opened the door, I couldn’t help exclaiming at how spacious and clean it was. The bath and toilet felt a bit dated, but they were kept clean, and above all the bathtub was large—I could stretch out my tired legs and soak comfortably in hot water. The front desk staff were friendly, and there was also a free drink service—everything was taken care of. I’d definitely like to stay here again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. Although the location was a little away from the Onsen town, you kindly provided Shuttle Service. The property was well maintained, and I was able to relax in the Onsen. The amenities were also well stocked. I stayed without meals this time, but I would like to stay with meals included next time.

We stayed in the “Annex Detached Villa” Japanese-style room (7.5 tatami mats) with a loft and an open-air bath. We enjoyed the view of the Pacific Ocean from the terrace and fully relaxed in the open-air bath. We also made good use of the large public bath and open-air bath in the main building. The kaiseki dinner was just the right amount and absolutely delicious. We also tried a tasting of three types of Tosa sake, all of which were excellent. We are grateful for the courteous service from all staff members. Special thanks as well to the staff member in charge of the Shuttle Service between the detached villa and main building, who thoughtfully warned us in advance about bumpy sections along the way each time. We took a walk around what felt like a private cape and rocky shore near the Hotel, enjoying it almost exclusively with hardly any other tourists around. It was a very satisfying 1-night, 2-day stay where we fully enjoyed Cape Ashizuri’s nature, ocean views, and great food. We would definitely like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

Compared with a typical Business Hotel, I could stay comfortably in the Room without hearing noise or voices from the hallway. I was also glad that outside noise was hardly noticeable.

Breakfast was excellent. The seafood rice bowl was fresh and delicious, and I especially liked being able to change the flavor by pouring dashi over it to make ochazuke. The soup curry was also tasty, with vegetables such as okra and baby corn. The desserts, including jelly and milk pudding, felt very Hokkaido-like and were very satisfying. The staff at the breakfast venue were also wonderfully attentive, which made it a pleasure to enjoy the meal. The Hotel is conveniently located near the center of Susukino. On the other hand, perhaps because it was a holiday period, the affiliated parking lot was full and we had to use a parking lot a bit farther away, which was slightly disappointing. One more thing: I was surprised to find a long strand of hair caught in the Room’s ventilation vent. I removed it myself, but I think checking this during cleaning would make guests feel even more at ease. That said, overall the stay was comfortable and satisfaction with breakfast was extremely high. When visiting Hokkaido again, I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here because I had errands nearby, and it was a very simple yet properly renovated, clean Hotel. The Room looks a bit dark in the photos, but it doesn’t feel that dark when all the lights are on. I’m very satisfied to be able to stay at this price.

I’ve traveled to Tochigi many times, but this was my first visit to Yunishigawa Onsen. When choosing an Accommodation, the open-air Onsen and the meals were especially appealing. After arriving, I took a moment to relax with a cold welcome drink and a refreshingly cool towel—perfect for the heat. Once shown to my Room, I was soothed by the view from the window: mountains and a river. Dinner was served in a private room with an irori hearth, where many dishes were laid out. Over the hearth, various ingredients such as venison, beef, chicken, and yamame trout were grilled. We also enjoyed “isshobera”: minced chicken and crushed walnuts mixed into flavorful miso, spread onto a bamboo spatula and grilled, then placed on rice. Everything was truly delicious and beautiful to look at as well. For breakfast, we had piping-hot tofu made right in front of us along with many small side dishes—so filling even in the morning. Next time I’d love to visit during the autumn foliage season to enjoy a different view, so I hope to stay again when I return.

I sometimes stay here when I’m on business in Oita. All the staff are very helpful, so I can stay with peace of mind. I’ll be back again.

For the past few years, I’ve been staying at the Phoenix Park Hotel whenever I visit Nago. Before that, I used other Accommodations as well. This Hotel is quiet, and 21st Century Forest Park (the beach) is just across the road—an excellent location, with a Starbucks also set to open on the beachside in mid-April 2026. The number of parking spaces in front of the Hotel is limited, but there is plenty of parking on adjacent lots (three locations within a 30-second to 2-minute walk), so it’s not an issue. There’s also a Seven-Eleven within a short walk (under 5 minutes). Emerald, a pasta & pizza place right near the Hotel, is delicious, serves generous portions, and offers reasonable prices. I plan to stay here again next time.

This Accommodation offers clean, comfortable Rooms—ideal for business trips. If you’re sensitive to hallway noise, complimentary earplugs are available among the free amenities to help you sleep soundly. It’s conveniently located near a lively downtown area for dining and shopping, and while the breakfast selection is limited, it was tasty and enjoyable.
