We stayed as a family with children. The kids were thrilled with both the pool and the jacuzzi! Both were warm, so we could enjoy them comfortably even when it wasn’t midsummer. The BBQ area was also well equipped with plenty of amenities and supplies, so we had everything we needed to enjoy BBQ without any inconvenience. The optional BBQ set ingredients we ordered were very delicious. We woke up early in the morning and fully enjoyed the pool with the kids. They also happily played with the garden trampoline, balls, and other play equipment. The garden was spacious enough for the children to run around freely, and they played a lot and were completely satisfied. One night wasn’t enough to do everything, so next time we definitely want to stay for a Multiple Night Stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The Accommodation, with its charming thatched roof, was truly atmospheric. Even though we stayed for only one night, it felt like a special experience. In the quiet surroundings where you can really feel nature, we enjoyed carefully prepared dinner in the evening, and in the morning the colorful breakfast was as pleasing to the eye as it was satisfying in taste. The place is run by a husband and wife, and in particular the wife’s explanations were clear and easy to understand; she also expanded on our questions in conversation, which made our time there very comfortable. This is an Accommodation I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and healing getaway. It’s something you can only fully appreciate by actually going—there are many things I feel are better left undisclosed so you can enjoy discovering them yourself. The bath was deep enough to stretch out comfortably, and the hinoki scent was wonderful. It would be perfect if there were an optional plan that lets you enjoy sake in the bath. You may even be able to witness moments like a cicada molting up close, and if it’s handheld fireworks they can be done near the garden area—so I think it could also be great for families with children as a summer memory. It’s an Accommodation that made me want to return someday—perhaps during autumn foliage season at Mt. Kurikoma.

I stay here on the last day of every trip, and this time again I used it on the final day of my 10-day journey. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the bath had wonderful spring water quality—I was completely satisfied. I think Umegashima will get even hotter from here, but please keep up the great work. I’ll visit again, so thank you in advance.

We found this Accommodation while searching for a Ryokan for our summer family trip because we really wanted to try Yobuko squid. The Room had been renovated, so it was very clean and spacious, and our children were delighted. There was a small issue with the meal at first, but the staff responded immediately and it was resolved without any problem. That said, the amount of sashimi was incredible! We were worried we might not be able to finish it—the whole flounder sashimi platter and one plate of squid sashimi per person were extremely satisfying. Breakfast was also delicious: a Japanese set meal in just the right portion size. As for the bath, we knew from other Reviews that it is not an Onsen, but the water felt so pleasant that you wouldn’t notice unless told. The bath size was also just right since it wasn’t crowded. One disappointing point was that some weeds on the property were visible from the large window in our Room. Overall, though, we were very satisfied with this Accommodation, and would definitely like to stay again if we have another chance to visit.

I stayed here in the middle of an extreme heat wave. The Room was Japanese-style, with a round table and floor cushions. Wi-Fi was available. The futon was already laid out. It didn’t feel old-fashioned at all and was very clean. It’s an out-bath style, but there is a single-person bath right next door. There may not be many Rooms, so it never felt crowded and I could use it without any trouble. Breakfast was very lavish: classic items like grilled salmon, miso soup, rice served in an ohitsu tub, teppan-yaki on a ceramic plate, dessert, cassis vinegar drink, yogurt, and even soft drinks at the end. It was almost too much. The location is a bit far from the ferry terminal, and convenience stores are also near the ferry terminal, so don’t forget to shop beforehand. I’d like to stay here again when I visit.

My child wanted to see Mt. Fuji, so we chose this place because you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji even from the Room. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we could only see Mt. Fuji on the morning of the second day, but we were happy to catch even a glimpse—it made the trip from Osaka worthwhile, and the kids were delighted. Just like the Reviews said, it was a very clean and lovely Room, with stylish amenity sets, complimentary drinks and chiffon cake, and all of the staff were friendly and kind—our whole family loved it so much that we’d like to come back every year. We ate on the terrace while looking at Mt. Fuji, and enjoyed fireworks at night—our children made wonderful summer vacation memories.

The Room was spacious, beautiful, and spotless, and there were three open-air baths. The meals were buffet-style with a wide variety of options. The lounge was excellent!

I brought my elderly father, who loves Onsen but has difficulty walking. When I mentioned this at the time of Reservation, they prepared a Room right next to the elevator. I also requested a barrier-free Room, and it was spacious with handrails throughout. Even the tatami area was set up so he could relax comfortably in a chair, which made him very happy. The bath in our Room had 100% natural Onsen water flowing continuously 24 hours a day—it felt almost too luxurious. There was a step at the entrance to the tub, and the inside of the bath was slightly raised as well. A sturdy shower chair was provided, so I felt safe letting him bathe. Of course, he also enjoyed the large public bath with my husband. For dinner, a chef came to our Room and served freshly fried tempura and freshly grilled steak. Everything was truly delicious. The kamameshi rice was excellent too, and the portions were just right—we were completely satisfied. All of the staff were very kind. At check-in they helped us choose yukata together, and even though my father used a wheelchair that we borrowed there, one of the senior managers spoke warmly to him—he was deeply touched. This is a Hotel he visited many times with my late mother, and he spent two full days here looking genuinely happy. It meant so much to be able to do something special for him. Thank you very much.

My first time at Ikaho Onsen. It was wonderful!! The staff were welcoming from the parking area, and in the lobby we were greeted by the robots Udon-chan and Komugi-chan. Check-in was relaxed, and starting off with the amenity buffet—where we could try a variety of items—was a fun touch. After enjoying the private bath, we had a leisurely meal. I had noted that this stay also served as an appreciation gathering, and after dinner they kindly showed consideration for us—my friend was truly delighted. Thank you very much! The Onsen offered two different types of baths to enjoy, and having towels available in the bathing area made it very convenient. The Facility has a bit of a Showa-retro feel, but it was spacious and comfortable to relax in. We stayed with an IKYU limited Plan, which included services such as colorful yukata rentals, and my friend said it was genuinely great!! Everyone said they’d like to stay again, and we agreed it’s an Accommodation we’d love to recommend. The staff were attentive, and guests of all ages seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I upgraded to a Room with a runway view, and it was well worth it. Being able to enjoy the view even from the bath was fantastic. The staff were wonderful, always smiling and providing very pleasant service—I was extremely satisfied. They also stored my suitcase after checkout, which made it much easier to get around. There wasn’t any mineral water provided in the Room, so I used the vending machine, but it only accepted cash—so it may be a good idea to have some coins ready. However, since there is a convenience store at the Hotel entrance, you may not find it inconvenient. If I have another chance to visit Nagoya, I would definitely like to stay again.

Just as the Reviews said, the service was truly outstanding. And despite being close to the station, it offered great value for money. The room interior was nice, and although the building is old, it was clean. Also, even though it was a unit bath, the bathtub was spacious and I could relax comfortably. I also had dinner at Minokichi at night; it had a calm atmosphere and the food was very delicious. This Hotel was our Accommodation for a trip to Kyoto that we decided on at short notice during Golden Week, and I’m glad we chose this place. I’d like to recommend it to everyone as a Hotel worth staying at. I’m truly sad after seeing an article saying it will be closing soon.

We stayed here for our family trip at the end of summer vacation. It was a special Room—the only one of its kind in the Hotel. It had the space of two Rooms plus a living area, and an exceptionally large bathroom—about the size of another Room—with a spacious bathtub where you can fully stretch out, as well as a separate shower room. The bubble-bath function had been removed, but features such as the marble flooring gave it a very luxurious feel. There were also private stairs, a ramp, and an exclusive corridor leading to this special Room, with outstanding attention to privacy. From the Room, we enjoyed breathtaking views over all of Lake Megami and the surrounding mountains. There were three large TVs, which delighted our children, and we could use the air conditioning as well, so we stayed comfortable throughout our visit. The public bath included an open-air bath and even two saunas, and the lockers were clean. From the open-air bath we could look out over Lake Megami and the mountains while relaxing in the Onsen. We enjoyed cooling off in the cold bath, watching clouds drift by, and taking our time to fully appreciate Tateshina Onsen. As it was peak season, both dinner and breakfast were buffet only; while there weren’t many items overall, each dish was truly delicious. The coffee did not seem to be freshly drip-brewed from a machine like those found at some buffets, so having a coffee machine would be nice. Next time we are very much looking forward to trying kaiseki cuisine at the basement-level restaurant as well. As an IKYU.com Diamond member benefit I requested late check-out; unfortunately it wasn’t possible due to peak season demand. Still, this is such a wonderful Hotel that we wanted to stay even longer—the Room was beautiful, spacious, and impressive in every way. Thank you also for the Diamond member gifts (a bottle of wine and souvenirs from Nagano). Since in Parking Lot No. 1 the wheelchair-priority space is shared with EV charging spaces, I think it would be better to separate them so that enough spaces can be secured to meet nighttime EV charging demand while keeping accessible parking available at all times. We arrived at 11:00 and completed check-in procedures first; the front desk staff were excellent. We requested early check-in but it wasn’t possible due to peak season; however when keys became available before 3:00 p.m., they were handed out in order of completion of procedures—so arriving early was worthwhile for us after all. We will be staying in this same Room again in the future as well; thank you in advance from our whole family for your continued hospitality. Thank you very much to all staff members.”

The staff were very welcoming upon arrival at the Hotel, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. The Room was clean, and I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast could be chosen from three restaurants, making this trip truly wonderful.

I used this for a trip to Shizuoka. It had everything I needed for an overnight stay, and I was very satisfied. Drinks were available freely, breakfast was delicious, the Room was comfortable, and anything I needed could be borrowed or purchased.

My first time in Sakura City, and I had a great impression. I’d love to visit again.

One of the joys of visiting Asahikawa is staying at this Hotel. The breakfast is simply delicious! The freshly baked bread—croissants and crispy Danish pastries—is always excellent. And the homemade pudding in a jar! I always end up having two or three. There’s also a great selection of farmer’s bacon, curry, Japanese rolled omelet, simmered dishes, and salads. The single Room is spacious and easy to use, and the front desk staff are kind and helpful. True to its name, the whole Hotel has a calm atmosphere, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from Asahikawa Station while strolling through Kaimono Koen. The price is reasonable as well, and I think it’s one of Asahikawa’s standout Hotels. It’s also adorable that there are large plush penguins and seals inside the Hotel. This is a Hotel that makes you want to stay again every time.

I stayed here on a business trip to Sendai. I was short on time for a meeting with a client, and leaving my luggage at the station would have been inconvenient afterward. I didn’t have time to check in, but thanks to the free lockers in the Facility, I was able to store the bags I didn’t need for the meeting. It was a huge help, and I’d like to stay here again.

This was our second stay with our rescued dog. This time, there was a pool set up in the dog park, and our dog tried swimming for the first time. Surprisingly, they swam well and looked like they were having a great time. Playing in the spacious dog park always makes them look so happy, and we’re really glad we came.\nWe chose the reasonably priced Standard Cottage this time, so we expected some age, but there was a very strong dusty (moldy?) smell, which was a bit of a downside. The place was cleaned properly, but there’s only so much you can do about an older building.\nStill, our dog looked so happy that we’ll probably stay again!

The in-room cleaning amenities are well provided, making this a very good Hotel. Although the building is older, it has been renovated and feels like the most luxurious in Tottori. I would like to stay again.

The property is very close to the station and easy to find. There are many places to eat nearby, making it very convenient and highly recommended. The Room was relatively spacious, so we could relax comfortably even with our suitcases open. Both the interior and the Facility were clean and well equipped, making our stay very comfortable. The hair dryer worked great. We were also able to borrow a hair iron at the front desk. The loungewear with Hikonyan embroidery was very cute. All of the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a big help that they could store our luggage even after check-out. Thanks to you, we had a comfortable trip—thank you very much. Next time, we would like to book meals as well.
