Thank you very much for accommodating our various requests from before our stay through to after check-out. From the room, we could see Dejima, and the view was wonderful and truly felt like Nagasaki. Breakfast was also delicious, and we enjoyed a menu with local Nagasaki specialties. Thanks to you, we were able to fully enjoy our trip to Nagasaki for the first time in over a decade. If we have the opportunity to visit Nagasaki again, we would love to stay with you again.

The Hokuriku Shinkansen was delayed by over 30 minutes, which threw off our schedule quite a bit. I ended up arriving much later than the check-in time, and you even contacted me—I’m sorry for causing you concern. After that, you were very kind and helpful, which was a relief. Your careful explanations made me feel at ease. The grilled overnight-dried nodoguro served at breakfast was absolutely delicious. When I checked a dried-fish shop to buy some as a souvenir, I found it’s a premium fish costing just over 3,000 yen per fish! It felt like such a lucky breakfast. Thank you very much.

We stayed here after viewing the cherry blossoms in Miharu. It’s a small, standalone Accommodation, but the hospitality was wonderful! The bath is private for each Room, spacious, and available 24 hours. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that let you soak in the Onsen while using a face mask. As expected from an auberge, every dish was refined and delicious. We were also very satisfied with the pickles at breakfast. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again!

I don’t usually write a Review, but I was so satisfied that I couldn’t help myself! This Accommodation is perfect for a trip to Kyoto!! Even though it’s relatively new, the hospitality is flawless—more attentive than many luxury Ryokan. The smile and greetings from the staff member who assisted us were wonderful, and every interaction felt genuinely pleasant. Of course, all the other staff were also excellent. We traveled with an 8-month-old baby, and they quickly provided amenities (a diaper trash bin). They even selected and brought welcome drinks to our Room—almost too kind. Since we made a Reservation the day before, we couldn’t add dinner. But because we ended up snacking while exploring Kyoto anyway, we were honestly full—so it worked out well! And they offer a late-night snack service, which was fantastic. Breakfast was also outstanding—you can make ochazuke or dashi ochazuke, leaving nothing to complain about. The Room was spacious enough that our child could sleep in a separate area. It was quiet enough for us to relax without worrying about noise. The bath was large as well, and being able to top up with hot water at any time was much appreciated. Overall, for exploring Kyoto (especially if you plan to focus on street food or want to take things slow and enjoy the atmosphere), with that location and service, I would absolutely choose this place again next time. Room: Kuukei

While looking for an Accommodation where we could stay with our dog, we discovered “Wa no Ie” and stayed there as a family. It’s surprisingly easy to find pet-friendly Hotels, but since we were going to Karuizawa, we wanted a place that truly felt luxurious and where we could enjoy time with our pet both indoors and outdoors. That’s when we found Wa no Ie—an outstanding piece of architecture surrounded by nature—and after seeing the photos, we decided almost immediately. When we arrived, the harmony between the building and the natural surroundings was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The greenery visible through the windows and the way light streamed in made it an incredibly comfortable space. Because we were traveling with a child and a dog, our only concern was the number of stairs. However, before our stay they had already set up baby gates for us, so both our child and dog could relax safely without any worry of falling. We really appreciated this thoughtful attention to detail. The interior was spotless, and the area around it was truly quiet. Away from the bustle of town, it felt like we were the only ones in the forest—something I personally loved. In the morning, I woke up naturally with sunlight and found myself thinking, “How long has it been since I last woke up like this?” My wife and child baked sweets and played games while our dog lounged with us—it was a place where you end up wanting to enjoy simply spending time there rather than going out sightseeing. If possible, I honestly wished we could have stayed for several more days—living there while working remotely. A private rental that offers nature, luxury, and an environment where you can stay comfortably with your pet is hard to find. We would absolutely love to stay here again whenever we visit Karuizawa. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We made wonderful memories. The beach is right in front of the property, and the location is excellent—we were very satisfied.

We stayed here on the second day of our first trip to Niigata. My spouse and I had a wonderful time and were very satisfied. The facilities themselves are not particularly new, but we were truly impressed by the atmosphere of the inn and the warm hospitality of the staff. Above all, the meals are excellent. They are satisfying to eat and a delight to look at—an outstanding dining experience you won’t be disappointed with. Great value for money, and highly recommended for sightseeing in Niigata. At the end, there was also a welcoming dance performed from a separate stage—something to look forward to after you arrive... I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.

The proprietress and all the staff were very pleasant, and it was a comfortable Accommodation.\nThe view from our riverside Room was wonderful, the meals were delicious, and the baths were very relaxing.\nAlthough there are some older parts of the building, cleaning and maintenance are thorough.\nThere was an extension cord in the Room, which I could pull over to the futon and it was helpful for charging devices.\nI really appreciated those thoughtful touches.\nIt was also great that we could use the baths until checkout at 10:00; many places close around 9:00.\nIf I had to say one thing, it would be perfect if you could see the river from the open-air bath—but then it would probably be visible from across the river too (laugh).\nI’d love to come back again when I have the chance for a relaxing stay.

They kindly accommodated our last-minute visit. Both the Room and the bath were clean and comfortable, so we’d like to visit again during ski season.

I’d rate the bathroom size 0.1, but I was satisfied with everything else.

As we were at a point where we might have to leave Tokyo due to my daughter’s job assignment, the three of us stayed at Shohakukan in Onahama. It’s a historic building, but it was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, so we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. We chose a room with a private hot spring bath and a massage chair! The in-room hot spring had an authentic sulfur scent that really made it feel like a true onsen experience, and we took turns using the massage chair as a family to soothe our travel fatigue. Upgrading the meals was absolutely the right decision! Crab, grilled dancing abalone, Joshu beef steak, simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai), deep-fried mehikari… everything was incredibly luxurious, and we enjoyed so many local specialties. Every dish was truly delicious—I almost felt bad that we couldn’t finish everything. Sorry about that! Another unforgettable part of our stay was chatting with the wonderful attendant wearing glasses. She shared so many enjoyable stories about the inn’s history, sightseeing spots, and recommended sake, making our trip even warmer and more memorable. Thank you very much. In the midst of our busy daily lives, it meant so much to relax as a family of three again—enjoying great food and unwinding in the hot springs—and it made us fall in love with Fukushima for the first time. We would love to return again someday. Thank you sincerely for everything!

The Room and bathroom were very clean. I used the laundry facilities, and they were bright and well maintained. I would like to stay here again.

As a self-employed person, it’s hard for me to take time off, but I was finally able to bring my elderly mother—who had been saying for so long that she wanted to visit an Onsen—for a one-night stay. I chose this Accommodation after reading Reviews, hoping we could relax more than at a large Hotel. Since we stayed on a weekday at the end of summer, the rooms were only about half occupied, which was also nice. The staff were all smiling and pleasant. We checked in early and enjoyed the Onsen before dinner. Dinner was served in private dining rooms with table seating. There were many dishes, but each portion was small enough to enjoy comfortably; everything was served warm at just the right pace, and the flavors and seasoning were perfect—we were very satisfied. The timing worked out well for the Onsen too, so we hardly ran into other guests and could take our time in both the indoor bath and the open-air bath. Staying during the autumn foliage season may be difficult due to crowds, but my mother said she definitely wants me to bring her again.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The owner, his wife, and their child took care of us. The Room was very clean and perfect for families with children. We used the open-air bath on both days. After playing at the beach near the villa, we washed off in the outdoor bath and then relaxed in the bath at our leisure. The food was incredibly delicious, and there was so much that we were completely satisfied. Everything was very fresh and tasty. For an additional fee, we also tried the pudding made at the villa—it was unbelievably good. When we travel to Awaji Island again, we will definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at other 9yard locations, and this one was also very pleasant. The elderly gentleman working the front desk at night was extremely kind and courteous. I was also really happy they had ice cream, which the other locations didn’t have!

I gifted an overnight stay to celebrate my twin daughters’ birthday. They really enjoyed the all-inclusive experience and said they’d like to come next time with friends or their boyfriends.

This was my second stay. Since it is away from central Nara City, the surroundings are quiet and you can relax. The drinks in the 8th-floor lounge while watching Mt. Unebi at sunset are wonderful. The Room has a unit bath, but I also recommend the spacious public bath nearby. This time, there were dishes from many countries, and everything was delicious. With Asuka and Fujiwara Palace designated as World Heritage sites, I expect more tourists in the future, but this is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

This was our first stay in three years. While the building is undeniably old, the guest rooms, restaurants, and other facilities inside were clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. We chose a Plan with Club Lounge access again this time, and were extremely satisfied with everything—from the staff’s warm smiles to the quality and variety of the food. We originally planned to stay for 3 nights and 4 days, but due to Typhoon No. 18 we had to extend our stay by one night. The staff handled our request for an additional night very courteously and attentively. Being able to add one more night made my wife and children absolutely delighted. It was another highly satisfying trip to Okinawa, and we would definitely like to stay here again on our next family vacation.

Everything was wonderful—the location, the baths, and the food. In particular, the male staff member at the “Underwater Stand Bar” who introduced us to local drinks. And the female staff member at “Bokido,” who not only cleaned but also paid close attention to guests’ safety and comfort. Thanks to you, it became an unforgettable memory, including the connections we made with people. Thank you very much.

At first glance at the building—no offense intended—I didn’t have high expectations for the meals. But then. I was amazed by the wide variety at dinner, and everything was fresh and delicious. I was truly impressed—Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes all together. I enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was just as delicious. The bath is spacious. As it’s a hot spring, it warms you right up. The fresh wine I bought at the shop was excellent. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
