Nestled in the magnificent nature of Kita-Nagato Kaigan Quasi-National Park, our Accommodation is surrounded by a serene landscape where sea and greenery intertwine, offering the pleasure of Kibato Onsen—one of the “Nagato Five Famous Hot Springs.” Nearby are iconic scenic spots that define Nagato, including Omi Island, known as the “Alps on the Sea,” and Motonosumi Shrine with its striking row of vermilion torii gates, enriching your journey with unforgettable views. Inside, refined design creates a calm atmosphere, and in our guest rooms you can unwind to the gentle sway of the sea breeze. Delicately crafted multi-course kaiseki cuisine featuring local blessings, together with attentive hospitality, weaves a stay that will linger in your memory.
Built in 1920, during the Taisho era, this building once supported the growth of Hakodate Port as the office of a marine industry cooperative. More than 100 years later, it carries on that legacy while welcoming new travelers as “T9 HAKODATE.” Rather than simply preserving the past, we have cherished the atmosphere and warmth of its time and gently added modern comfort. In a prime location in Hakodate’s Bay Area—just a 3-minute walk from Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse—we offer only five guest Rooms. Each Room is styled with motifs inspired by Hakodate’s scenery and the building’s history, letting you enjoy a different story in every stay. Savor a quiet, special moment surrounded by echoes of the Taisho era.
