The center of Arima Onsen, perfect for exploring the town!

At the end of the Edo period, Arima Onsen was so bustling that it was known as "Arima Senken." In addition to "Bō," which were temple lodgings, there were also self-catering accommodations called "Koyado" attached to each temple lodging. Most of these had shops selling souvenirs, brushes, bamboo crafts, and other items on the first floor, with the upper floors serving as Koyado. Traces of this structure can still be seen today. Our Property also operates a café on the first floor. As a No Meals Included Property, you can enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay. Please relax in your Room according to your needs.

A guesthouse in Shironoshita, Himeji, run by the Shiroshita family and within walking distance of Himeji Castle.

Shironoshita Guesthouse is located about a 15-minute walk from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle, and about a 4-minute walk from JR Koguchi Station, which is one stop (150 yen) on the Bantan Line from JR Himeji Station. It is also about a 23-minute walk from Himeji Station, so you can choose to walk if you prefer. Although it is slightly away from the center of Himeji, this allows for a quiet night's sleep. Additionally, there are places to eat and convenience stores nearby. If you are arriving by car, parking in this area is cheaper than around Himeji Station, with coin parking available for 600 yen within 24 hours. Motorcycles and bicycles can be parked for free on the guesthouse premises, but please let us know in advance to secure space. Opened as a newly built facility in June 2017, the guesthouse offers a clean and comfortable environment. The shared space is equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, kettle, and tableware, all of which you are free to use. Guests often enjoy sharing travel stories with each other or with the staff in the shared space. If you encounter any issues or have questions during your stay, please do not hesitate to ask. We are always happy to help make your trip as enjoyable as possible. Of course, inquiries before your stay are also very welcome. Thank you very much for reading this far. Our family of three is looking forward to the day we can meet you!
