We stayed with five people. We were satisfied because the cost per person was low and the Room was clean. It would have been even better if there had been space to store suitcases and hangers for clothes.

We stayed for 3 nights. This time, we were looking forward to staying at a private house-style Accommodation. Just like at home, we entered through the front door and walked down the hallway while looking out onto the courtyard, and our Room was there. It had such a calming atmosphere. The parking space was right in front of the entrance, so unlike a Hotel—having to ride an elevator or walk long corridors—there was no unnecessary movement. Also, there was no face-to-face check-in or check-out, which was very nice. The Room, wash area, and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and the bathroom had a drying function. Since it was a hot season, this really helped. The Room had an outdoor garden with a tsukubai (stone water basin), but we could not go outside. It was disappointing that the basin only had rainwater collected in it. We felt that adding dripping water or something similar would make it feel more atmospheric. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay.

I stayed for one night. Overall, it was good. The only disappointing thing was that there were no amenities such as a toothbrush in the Room, and I wasn’t informed at check-in. I noticed when I was about to take a bath at night and had to get dressed again and go down to the first floor. Also, for some reason, it seemed like almost all the guests were non-Japanese. I don’t think I saw any Japanese people at either the front desk or the breakfast area.

It was better than I expected! Great value for the price. My dog was happy too. If I had to mention anything, the bedroom scent was a bit too strong—maybe the previous guests used a lot of fragrance. Also, it was hard to find the toothbrushes. And it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions for using the BBQ (there were some, but they seemed to assume charcoal use). That said, overall it was clean and well-equipped. Even during Golden Week, the price felt fair, and it’s an Accommodation I can’t help but want to stay at again.

I was looking for an affordable Hotel in Hakodate with a large public bath. I wasn’t expecting much—No Meals Included was fine—but it turned out to be better than I thought. The building is old, but guests can use the hot stone sauna for free, and towels and loungewear are provided. Water is also available with cups provided. (Non-guests: 2,500 yen!) It was a Friday, but it felt like we had the place to ourselves. There were also free full-body massage chairs (I heard there weren’t any for men). You can also make Misuzu Coffee for free in the 1st-floor lobby and take it back to your Room. On the 1st floor, you can fill a container with your preferred shampoo and conditioner to take with you. Free late-night soba is also available. I’d like to stay here again next time.

I booked this Accommodation for the next day during my trip based only on the price. There is no refrigerator or bidet toilet seat, and the TV does not receive local terrestrial channels. The bath also closes early, so arrive early!
