We stayed here as a family while sightseeing in Nagano. The manager was friendly and responded to us courteously. As this is an Accommodation at a temple, it does not have the latest facilities, but the toilets, bath, and shared spaces were well maintained and clean. Thank you very much.

While there are many new and spotless Hotels these days, an unpretentious, good old-fashioned Accommodation like this is truly relaxing. It’s in a quiet area and close to Cape Irago, making it a perfect base for going to see the sunrise in the morning. I ended up checking in late, but they welcomed me warmly with a casual “Feel free to use the bath,” which was a relief. The owner’s courteous guidance—attentive yet comfortably not intrusive—suited the atmosphere of this Accommodation perfectly. With a convenience store right across the street, it wasn’t inconvenient at all, and I think it’s a great fit for touring trips or solo travel as well. Rather than being flashy, it was the kind of Accommodation that makes you think, “This is exactly what I need.”

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. I relaxed in the large public bath, enjoyed some sparkling wine, and checked out at 11:00. I slept soundly, and it made for a wonderful trip.

It was a captivating experience, with the Ryokan’s dignified traditional Japanese architecture and its beautiful strolling garden that lets you feel the changing seasons. The historical stories passed down at Yoshino Ryokan were truly fascinating, and I have deep respect for the way it overcame the hardship of the major flood disaster in 2020 and was rebuilt with strength. This time I chose a Plan without dinner, but the Japanese breakfast provided was high quality, and the carefully prepared dishes gave me energy from the morning. The large public bath is small, but quiet and comfortable, allowing me to relax and soothe my fatigue. The warm and kind hospitality of the proprietress and all staff left a strong impression. In a calm atmosphere that has not been overly commercialized for tourism, this is a rare, authentic Ryokan that preserves the charm of good old Japan. With such wonderful offerings, it also delivers excellent value for money—I was truly satisfied. I would love to visit again in another season to enjoy this beautiful garden.

They welcomed us very warmly. I’m grateful for the thoughtful care they showed for my elderly mother. The Onsen was also very relaxing. With its charming castle town and samurai residences, it was a stay filled with history. Thank you.

We stayed on a Plan with breakfast included. When I think of a Hotel breakfast, it’s usually a buffet, but this time we enjoyed a Japanese-style breakfast. It was delicious and made us feel well cared for. If you avoid the busy hours, you can also relax and warm up in the bath. My mother especially liked Ambasa among the complimentary juices and drank quite a lot. There was also a good variety of tea and juice, which we enjoyed. (They are available for relatively long hours compared to other places.) We also appreciated services such as bicycle rentals, and felt the overall service was very well provided. Thanks to that, we were able to take our time resting while taking care of our errands. Thank you very much.

My husband’s favorite Accommodation. This time, the three of us stayed here. As always, the plentiful meals and the Onsen were flawless. The Room has also been renovated and is very clean. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the bathing hours were a little longer. We go in about three times, but there isn’t quite enough time to relax at night. In the morning, we can soak at a leisurely pace, which we really appreciate. We will surely stay again. Thank you very much.

This is a private rental of a renovated traditional house, very spacious, and overall we had a comfortable stay. The bedroom was cozy, and the bathroom and vanity area were especially large, which made it convenient for two people to get ready at the same time. The lighting was bright and easy to use, insect control indoors was well handled, and we were able to use the Facility without any issues. When we consulted in advance about the check-in time, they kindly accommodated an earlier check-in, which was very helpful. There is also Shuttle Service available, making transportation very convenient. On the other hand, there are two points we would be happy to see improved. First is the height of some beams. For someone around 175 cm tall, a beam sits just above eye level, making it easy to miss—I hit my head several times. Since I hit it quite hard once, for safety it would be reassuring to have warning stickers or signs. Second, in the first-floor bedroom we could hear some road noise from passing cars at night. The second floor was relatively quiet, so those who are sensitive to noise may prefer sleeping upstairs. Other than that, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a traditional house.

I stayed at this Accommodation the day before visiting Kamikochi. They kindly accommodated my early-morning departure. Dinner was delicious and very satisfying. Because I was leaving early, I skipped breakfast, but next time I’d like to enjoy breakfast and stay longer. The bathwater was clear; perhaps that’s just its natural characteristic, but it was still very nice. The staff were also very helpful. I would definitely like to stay again.

I’m not comfortable with noisy, bustling places, so I chose to stay here. The meals were delicious, and the hostess’s warm smile was truly soothing. Breakfast was also very satisfying, and I would love to stay again. I was able to relax and spend a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

The stay was stress-free as always. There was no crowd at the reception during check-in or check-out, and we rarely encountered other guests in the elevator. As a family with children, choosing a Hotel with fewer points to worry about is important for us. Thank you for providing champagne and organic orange juice in the refrigerator. The access was excellent since there was an event at Tokyo Dome again. We look forward to staying here next time as well!

This summer, we decided to travel from hot Tokyo to Karuizawa, and while searching for a Hotel, we found HACIENDA, which had just opened, and stayed there. It’s directly connected to the station, which is very convenient. As soon as we stepped inside, it was quiet and beautifully designed; the warmth and scent of the wood were truly soothing. The Room was clean, spotless, and spacious—an extremely comfortable space. The welcome herbal tea was delicious. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. The amenities were also so cute that they lifted my mood. We could use the adjacent spa and lounge as many times as we wanted during our stay—what a wonderful Accommodation perk! My husband said the sauna and bath were amazing and went in again and again. We’ve been saying as a couple, “We want to make this our go-to place for summer trips.” Not only in summer—we’d love to visit again in a different season. All of the staff were kind with just the right level of attentiveness. I usually get tired from staying at Hotels, but here I was able to relax without feeling drained. This was my first time staying at a whole-house Hotel, and the staff were very kind—the services were excellent. I was also very satisfied with the handwritten letter and the spacious Room.\nHowever, while I was in the bathroom, a foreigner repeatedly tried to force open the front door (security), rattling it over and over. It was frightening to have someone loitering around the entrance, and their behavior was so scary that I had to go through the trouble of chasing them away.\nIt seems they had mistaken the location, but I couldn’t even use the bathroom in peace. At check-in, I would like Hotel staff to always accompany guests and guide them to the house.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

It was great that the Hotel is close to the station and that parking was available at a low cost. The staff were very courteous, which made me feel at ease. I only realized after arriving that there is a large public bath, but it was convenient because you can go back and forth in loungewear and slippers. There were manga lined up outside the bath area, so I ended up reading “The Eternal Zero” straight through from Volume 1 to Volume 5. I stayed in a non-smoking single Room, and it felt clean. What I especially liked was the breakfast buffet. The selection is average, but every dish was delicious. In my experience, buffet meals at a Business Hotel usually include both good dishes and mediocre ones, but everything at Mark One Abiko tasted great. After breakfast, we drove to Michi-no-Eki Shonan and walked about half of Lake Teganuma. It made for a very fulfilling weekend.

Having a bathroom dryer is very helpful for long stays. In the Room I stayed in this time, one of the light switch covers was peeling off, and I thought that fixing things like that might attract even more guests. As always, the front desk staff were very helpful, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to use this property again on my next trip.

I had originally planned to stay in the north-central area, but due to the typhoon I made a last-minute Reservation here. I had a great impression from staying here before COVID, and this time was excellent as well. The Room had a washing machine and a bathtub, and we could also borrow items like plates and a rice cooker from the first-floor area. The weather was bad, but there was a dehumidifier in the Room with strong performance, and it dried our laundry in about four hours, which really helped. Parking is free, it’s within walking distance of downtown, and there’s also a supermarket nearby. Even during the typhoon we were able to stay comfortably, and we’re very grateful. If I stay in Naha again, I will choose this place. Thank you!

We enjoyed our Okinawa trip with a rental car, and it was very convenient to have a coin-operated parking lot right next to the Hotel. At night, we could walk to Kokusai-dori. Since we didn’t have to drive, we were able to enjoy beer at an izakaya, and the taxi ride back was 1,000 yen. The Room was new and very clean, and having a washing machine was truly helpful. Having the bath and toilet separate also helped soothe our travel-weary bodies. The front desk staff were also very pleasant. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to Okinawa. Last time, when I called to make last-minute changes, the staff were extremely polite and kind. They responded quickly as well, which was very helpful. This is my second stay, and the Room is always very clean, with everything I need provided—clear and very convenient. The surrounding nature is wonderful too, and I always have a pleasant stay here. I think it’s especially great for longer stays.
