Garden Story’s highlights include one of the largest gardens in the area, European-style course meals made with herbs from the garden, and charming country-style interiors. We create our garden as if it were a canvas, using plants to “paint” three-dimensional scenes. Enjoy vivid blooms unique to this cool highland climate at 1,500 meters above sea level, along with rare native alpine wildflowers. We also host gardening classes and open-garden events. Garden Story is conveniently located—about 20 minutes by car to Garden Soil, a dream destination for gardeners, and about 30 minutes by car to Ogihara Plant Nursery, one of the largest perennial specialty nurseries in the prefecture.
