Opening in September 2024! Troll Forest Stella is a pension where everyone, from small children to seniors, can enjoy together as a family. Spend a relaxing time in the forest at an altitude of 800m, gazing up at the clear blue sky of the highlands. Children can play outside in the woodchip garden, moving their bodies freely in nature. On rainy days or after dinner, why not enjoy analog games with the whole family while relaxing on the spacious covered terrace or in the large dining area? The maisonette-style Rooms feature two futons and two beds each. With a toilet and washbasin in every Room, even families with small children or those concerned about nighttime bathroom trips can stay with peace of mind. Toys, picture books, and magazines available in the facility can also be brought into your Room. From the large windows, you can feel the natural beauty of the highlands. The bath, available by time Reservation, can be used privately for each Room. There is also a wooden deck where you can enjoy an outdoor air bath! Meals are prepared using local ingredients from Tochigi. You can also enjoy Tochigi's local sake, craft beer, and wine. "Stella" means star in Italian. The previously unknown forest resources of Amakusa, "Amakusa Hinoki" Fifty years ago, our predecessors planted numerous hinoki trees in the mountains of Amakusa with the hope that they would be of use in the future. Protecting the environment, preventing disasters, and delivering nutrients to the sea—these aspirations have been incorporated into the design of the "Hinoki no Hotel," which makes abundant use of Amakusa Hinoki and has now opened its doors. RESI STAY” is an Accommodation where kids can’t help but shout “Wow!”—a place they can enjoy to the fullest.To create a space that truly captivates children, we offer three types of guest Rooms themed around the forest, the sea, and sweets. Each Room features a bunk bed packed with playful surprises to spark curiosity—just like a “secret hideout.”In addition, the lobby and hallways include projection games and a bouldering wall, so kids can play freely outside their Room as well!The “Forest Room” and “Sweets Room” come with kitchens, making it easy to prepare baby food or breakfast—perfect for families traveling with little ones.
