A Resort Hotel named Lavista (meaning "view") has opened on a hill slightly away from the central area of Kusatsu Onsen. Our concept is a “next-generation, hybrid-style RYOKAN with a front ocean view.” Unlike traditional group-travel Ryokan, Kaike Yugetsu does not have banquet halls or convention facilities. We aspire to be a RYOKAN for “a special day spent with the one you love.” By using the term “RYOKAN” instead of “Ryokan,” we emphasize that we are not bound by conventional definitions.In April 2025, our new Top Floor Suite opened. The building incorporates design elements of the original Matsusho-so while embracing traditional Sukiya architecture that harmonizes with nature.
