The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the hospitality was truly wonderful and deeply impressed us. The proprietress quickly remembered my daughter’s name and even came to greet us at dinner, and the staff who served our meal had such warm smiles. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. We were also able to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. I was happy that we could take a photo with the proprietress when we checked out. We would love to visit again, and we appreciate your continued hospitality.

It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the in-room Onsen was excellent—I enjoyed it many times. The private bath had no time limit, and I could use it anytime as long as it was available, which made me very satisfied. The staff greeted me with smiles. Above all, every meal was delicious and made me feel truly happy. I have stayed at various Accommodations before, but I think this one was the best. During my stay, I already wanted to come back again. It was truly great. Thank you very much.

The floors throughout the Ryokan were comfortable to walk on barefoot, making it feel like home. I completely understood why rolling suitcases are not allowed. I could really appreciate the owner’s attention to detail, and I thought it was wonderful. The location was excellent, and the meals were delicious.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

This was a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again! Not only were the amenities and play area great, but the private family bath was surprisingly easy to use when we wanted, and we were able to relax and enjoy a bath together as a family. Free laundry and drying were also available, which was a huge help—especially with our 2-year-old, when we ran out of spare clothes and started to panic. Meals were buffet-style, so we ended up eating quite a lot and couldn’t make it for late-night snacks, which was a shame—but next time I’ll plan better (haha). Just one thing: the kids’ meals didn’t change much between breakfast and dinner, so our child got a bit bored. It would have been nice to have a little more variety.

We were satisfied with everything—the guest room, the private open-air bath, and the restaurant. The retro furnishings in the room were truly comforting, and we were impressed by the thoughtful care in the meals. We enjoyed a level of luxury that exceeded the price. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. The Hotel staff were also wonderful. As I get older, I find peace in an Accommodation like this. I hadn’t had many chances to visit Chichibu before, but this was an excellent Hotel as a base for visiting Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine (the Chichibu Three Shrines pilgrimage), as well as sightseeing in Nagatoro. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs. We would definitely like to stay again.

This was an Accommodation I definitely want to return to after my stay. The Room was spotless, and the thoughtful care of the staff could be felt in every detail, allowing me to relax and unwind from my busy daily life. Above all, both dinner and breakfast exceeded my expectations. This is what it truly means to enjoy food—every dish was outstanding, from dessert to the after-meal tea. The drinks were also excellent, and while Ehime often brings Matsuyama to mind, after staying here, for me Ehime now means Uchiko. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We had another very comfortable stay. We were soothed by everyone’s smiles and warm hospitality, the delicious meals, and the Onsen. The large public bath has everything you need, so it’s great that you can go empty-handed—it’s so easy and convenient. The Niagara wine we enjoyed in the lounge was also excellent! It was my sister’s first time at Otaru Furukawa, and she was very satisfied. Thank you as well for taking a two-shot photo of us in front of the Hotel! We usually enjoy a quiet couples’ getaway, but this time we left our car with you before check-in and enjoyed sightseeing in Otaru for the first time in a while. Furukawa is in a wonderful location right by the canal, and the view from our Room was lovely. Kojohama, Jozankei, and Otaru each have their own unique charm, and they’ve made us love Furukawa even more. We would love to visit again.

My family and I stayed here the day before our Kamikochi sightseeing trip. The young proprietress was very friendly and easy to talk to, and her unpretentious, thoughtful hospitality was truly comfortable. The open-air bath in our Room felt amazing—I could have stayed in it forever. Dinner featuring Hida beef had so many dishes that we wondered if we could finish them all, but everything was delicious and we all ate every last bite. The beef tataki we received as a gift from the Accommodation was also outstanding! They also kindly helped us plan for the next day’s Kamikochi sightseeing, making our stay completely satisfying. We would definitely like to stay here again on our next trip to Kamikochi!

We stayed for one night in Yayoi in July with our dog as a couple. We’ve stayed at many dog-friendly Accommodations, and this is the best one for us. I especially love sulfur Onsen, and while other dog-friendly Accommodations we’ve stayed at had Onsen, none had sulfur springs. Here, there is also a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, so we didn’t have to leave our dog waiting to go to a public bath. Even though many places don’t allow dogs in the bathroom area, this Accommodation provided a dog bathtub, shampoo, and towels—I've never stayed anywhere so thoughtful. Our senior large dog kept coming to watch us enjoy the Onsen with curiosity. Just walking through the spilled water from the free-flowing sulfur spring at the washing area turned his rough, cracked paw pads into smooth ones—just like the Reviews said. It’s truly an amazing Onsen. The Imabari bath towel after bathing was fluffy and very comfortable. Since it was a No Meals Included stay, we mainly brought takeout from Nasu restaurants. We also bought Nasu cheese and sausages along with drinks and snacks, and picked up bread and yogurt for breakfast at a nearby shop before heading to the Accommodation. With the best sulfur Onsen, delicious food and drinks from Nasu, a quiet setting, we were able to relax completely. Our dog also seemed very satisfied with the cool highland climate, peaceful greenery-filled surroundings, and private feel without running into other dogs—he looked truly relaxed. All of us were soothed by both nature and the Onsen and went home extremely happy. My husband said he wants to come again in winter too—so we’ll be making another Reservation. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. I feel as if both my body and mind have been refreshed. I can hardly believe how reasonably priced it is. Thank you very much. I stayed for one night. The service, meals, and baths were all excellent. There was also a local festival that day, which gave me a special opportunity to experience the surrounding culture. The view from the bath overlooked the harbor and had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was happy there was also a sauna and cold plunge. I also truly appreciated the flexible Shuttle Service, which made my trip much more convenient.

I stayed here during my trip. They kindly stored my luggage very early before check-in, so I could enjoy sightseeing comfortably before heading to the Accommodation. The Room was in a separate annex, and you reach it by passing through the dining corridor—an interesting layout. The annex itself was wonderful. With a truly traditional Japanese atmosphere, it overlooked the garden and Lake Shinji, and it was quiet and very relaxing. I visited in summer so I couldn’t see it, but I was told that in winter you can view the sunset from the Room. The hot spring water felt soft and pleasant. Every dish was delicious, and in addition to the standard menu list, there were separate notes explaining the care put into each dish, which made the meal even more enjoyable. It was also great that coffee service was available in the lounge until late after dinner. Because this is such an excellent Accommodation, there’s only one thing that would have made it even better: an extension cord. When charging my phone at night, there weren’t many accessible outlets, so I had to unplug a lamp at times. Still, this is a minor point—I believe this Accommodation is what made my first trip to Shimane so enjoyable. Thank you very much.

I stayed here after relatives in Shonai recommended it as an Accommodation with excellent food, and it exceeded my expectations. From appetizers to dessert, everything was carefully prepared—making the most of the ingredients with creative touches—and the portions were generous. Every dish was delicious, and I left completely satisfied. Breakfast was just as impressive as dinner, with a wide variety of items and great flavor. After the wonderful meal, it was also nice to relax in the Onsen bath in my Room. The staff’s bright smiles were another highlight. I’d love to come back to enjoy seasonal dishes at a different time of year, and also explore the Onsen town and try visiting private baths at other facilities.

It was a quiet Onsen Accommodation that suited the town of Hida-Furukawa perfectly. Everything was wonderful, and it’s rare that I’ve been able to spend time so comfortably. What was it, exactly? Everything! The only disappointment was that I could hear footsteps from the Room on the third floor until late at night. Next time I stay, I plan to request a higher floor. It’s an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again next year.

The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.
