  • Outstanding attention to detail

    We stayed here with our two dogs. It’s a charming, dignified traditional Japanese house Accommodation, and it was spotless and impeccably clean throughout. The Room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of dog supplies, so even if you forget something, you’ll be just fine. The seasonal meals were delicious and beautifully prepared. Our dogs seemed to really like the handsome staff member, which gave us a good laugh. This is an Accommodation we’d love to stay at again—perfect for soothing both mind and body. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with their dog.

  • Pet-friendly and spotless.

    Even though it’s a pet-friendly hotel, it was very clean. It was great to be able to step out into the garden from the room. The bath was also very nice. It’s a place I’d definitely like to visit again.

A Natural Hot Spring

For both men and women, we offer two hot spring baths: a large indoor bath and an open-air bath. Relax and enjoy a soothing hot spring experience in baths with different atmospheres. Hours: 15:00–24:00 / 6:00–10:00 Hot spring source name: Akagi Onsen / Niijima-no-Yu Spring quality: Bicarbonate hot spring containing calcium, magnesium, and sodium (hypotonic, neutral, high-temperature) Indications: Neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, recovery after illness (convalescence), fatigue recovery, health promotion/maintenance of health; also for cuts/wounds (“kirikizu”), burns (“yakedo”), chronic skin conditions (and more).

    Peak Autumn Foliage Season and Fall Stays

    Autumn is gradually making its way to Mt. Akagi.

    One of the charms of Mt. Akagi’s fall foliage is that it can be enjoyed for a relatively long season—typically from mid-October to late November.

    Because of the difference in elevation, the leaves begin changing near the summit and slowly progress down toward the foothills, allowing you to enjoy different autumn scenery depending on when you visit.




    ■ Lake Onuma & Kakumanbuchi Area: Around mid-October to late October
    About 40 minutes by car from Akagiyama -FUTOKORO-.
    A recommended area for an autumn drive, where you can enjoy vibrant foliage coloring the mountains and lakes.

    ■ Around Akagiyama -FUTOKORO-: Around late October to mid-November
    The trees around our property also turn red and yellow, making your usual walks feel even more special during this season.

    *Please note that peak timing may vary depending on temperatures and weather conditions each year.

    Our most exclusive room, featuring a semi-open-air bath and a dedicated bath for dogs

    This spacious 45 m² detached Japanese-style room overlooks the natural scenery of Mt. Akagi. In addition to a semi-open-air bath and a dedicated bath for dogs, it also includes a private dog run reserved for the room.

    After time in the dog run, unwind at your leisure—each of you in your own bath.
    Enjoy peaceful, family-only moments while taking in the surrounding nature.



    (2) Superior Plus Japanese-Style Room |
    Limited to two rooms—surrounded by the charm of a traditional farmhouse

    The Superior Plus Japanese-style room comes with its own private dog run facing the inner courtyard. A reed ceiling and substantial wooden beams create the calm, distinctive atmosphere of an old Japanese farmhouse.



    Whether you choose our Detached Special Japanese-Style Room—where you can enjoy both hot springs and bathing time with your dog—or our Superior Plus Japanese-Style Room—perfect for relaxing amid traditional character—you can spend a wonderful holiday with your dog along with an exclusive private dog run in either option.

  • You can now access the courtyard directly from the Superior Japanese-Style Room!

    A ramp/step has been installed on the courtyard side of our Superior Japanese-Style Room. You can now step directly from your room into the courtyard, making your stay with your dog even more relaxing and convenient.


    With a ceiling finished in reed (yoshi) and striking, substantial beams, this calm and refined room embodies our hotel’s concept. The room features twin beds (120 cm wide each) and a 180 cm-wide sofa that can also be used as a sofa bed.

    Drinks in the in-room refrigerator are complimentary. In the lounge, you can also enjoy complimentary drinks and treats for your dog. Dog amenities include paw-wipe towels, pet toilet sheets, a water bowl, food bowls, and pet steps.

    *Please note: There is no bath in the guest room.
    *When staying with 3 guests, 1 guest will sleep on the sofa bed.

    Whether relaxing in your room or spending time out in the courtyard, please enjoy an unhurried stay together with your dog.
