* Parking is free only when using our facility (Tonoshiro Rent-a-Car). If using other rental cars, please use the nearby municipal Yaeshima Parking Lot.
* In-house loungewear is one-size-fits-all. Children’s sizes are not available, so please bring your own.

  • Stargazing Walk Shuttle Service

    Ishigaki Island is a certified Dark Sky Reserve! How about a stargazing walk and a commemorative photo session?

    After dinner, there’s still plenty to enjoy.
    Ishigaki Island is also a “Dark Sky Sanctuary,” where you can admire a stunning night sky—home to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. Please use our convenient Shuttle Service by car from the Facility to popular stargazing spots.

    * A commemorative starry-sky photo is available for an additional fee (sent by email or provided on a memory card).
    * The service may be canceled due to rain or cloudy weather (and during full moon to half moon periods).
    * This is not a guided tour, so please enjoy using a stargazing app, etc.
    * There are three main stargazing spots:
    B Course: Around Mirumiru Honpo Main Store (up to 1 hour)
    A Course: Around Nagura Bay (for stays of 3 nights or more; up to 1.5 hours)
    S Course: Tamatorizaki Observatory OR a secret spot (for stays of 4 nights or more; up to 2 hours)
    * Hours: 20:00–5:00 (within 1–2 hours)

  • Shuttle Service for Tonoshiro-kan

    From the airport to downtown, Tonoshirokan offers a free Shuttle Service for stays of 2 nights or more with 2 or more guests! (Reservation required)

    A one-way taxi fare from Ishigaki Airport to downtown is approximately JPY 3,500. We offer a complimentary Shuttle Service for guests staying 2 nights or more (2 guests).

    * The airport Shuttle Service is available only for guests who check in and check out in person. (Arrival: from the afternoon onward; Departure: until the morning. Outside these hours, please inquire.)
    * We are unable to store luggage or valuables, as we cannot assume responsibility for theft, damage, or soiling.

  • Tonoshiro Rent-a-Car "Haimurubushi-go"

    A rental car is also available on-site during your stay (Reservation required).

    A rental car is essential for sightseeing on Ishigaki Island!
    However, the Accommodation and rental car offices are often far apart, and the procedures at rental car offices near the airport can be a hassle—leaving you exhausted as soon as you arrive...

    Our Ryokan has an on-site rental car service, so we offer Shuttle Service from the airport, and you can start using your rental car right after arriving with a quick procedure of about 10 minutes.

- 7 minutes on foot from the Remote Islands Ferry Terminal.
