  • Comfortable Rooms, a Full Onsen Experience, and Dining

    I stayed in the single building. The Room was spacious enough for one person, clean, and very relaxing. The Onsen baths each felt different, and all of them were wonderful. The herbal sauna was a comfortable temperature for me, and I felt refreshed from the inside out. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I could only use the indoor bath once due to my schedule, but it was also very pleasant, so I’d love to stay again and enjoy it next time.

  • Excellent access and outstanding medicinal baths.

    Soaking in the medicinal bath really helped me unwind! It even seemed to ease my sciatica. Next time, I plan to enjoy a long soak on my own. Great quick access from Tokyo—about as far as Ito Onsen (a bit farther than Atami). The medicinal bath is excellent.

[Ashinoyu] Hours: 6:00–21:00 Herbal Bath, Tsuru Bath, Mera Bath (Hydrogen Onsen), Open-Air Bath, Cold Bath, Herbal Mist Sauna, Footbath [Uchinoyu] (Guests Only) Hours: 15:00–23:00 This indoor bath uses the same No. 2 hot spring source as the Mera Bath in the large public bath. It is a guest-only Onsen located next to the Hotel entrance hall. The property has two private hot spring sources, and the water is an alkaline simple hot spring. The bathing areas are cleaned daily to maintain cleanliness, and the Onsen water is refreshed regularly. At Ashino Onsen Hotel, guests may use the day-use Onsen (large public bath) free of charge from 8:00 a.m. on the morning of check-in until 9:00 p.m. on the day of check-out. Please note for your check-out day: if you leave the property for sightseeing off-site, this free access will no longer be valid.
