Nold Forest House Accommodation for a Comfortable Stay in the Forest of Nasu Highlands

For environmental reasons, disposable amenities (toothbrushes, combs, shower caps, razors, etc.) are not provided. Additionally, pajamas are not available, so please bring your own. Our accommodation offers a "stay like living" experience. Please note that this is not a full-service Ryokan with on-site staff. Basic necessities are provided: - Towels (bath towels and hand towels) - Washer and dryer - Refrigerator and freezer - Toaster - Oven microwave - Rice cooker - Coffee grinder, dripper, coffee beans - Kitchen tools - Basic seasonings (salt mill, pepper mill, olive oil) - Hairdryer - Shampoo, conditioner, body soap *Please note that there is no TV to ensure a relaxing stay.* 【About Bedroom Privacy】 The bedroom does not have doors; therefore it is not a completely private space. Thank you for your understanding. 【About the Wood Stove】 The wood stove is available for guests staying between October and April. If you wish to use it during your stay, please review the usage guidelines sent after completing the reservation and register a fire safety manager in the guest list. Guests using the wood stove are requested to place 3000 yen in the collection box at the accommodation as fees for firewood materials and cleaning costs. Please do not use unseasoned firewood or other fuels in the wood stove. The firewood stacked in our garden was cut down in December 2023 and will be dried for approximately two years before becoming usable—thank you for waiting until then. 【Regarding Insects】 As we are located in a nature-rich area, insects may enter from time to time. We kindly ask for your understanding as we cannot address inquiries regarding this matter. 【BBQ Guidelines】 While BBQ equipment is not provided on-site at our facility: You may bring your own equipment if adhering to these rules: 1．Avoid leaving odors indoors: Store used equipment outdoors. 2．Cleaning greasy grills or plates: Use indoor kitchen facilities since outdoor water taps aren't connected to septic systems. 3．No open flames allowed outdoors directly on terraces/gardens; elevated grills must be used instead. 4．Dispose of charcoal/ash responsibly by bringing them back home using personal extinguishing containers without leaving residues inside/outside premises. 5．Charcoal handling cautionary note - Never bury partially extinguished coals underground due risks involving spontaneous combustion hazards! 【Fireworks Usage Policy 】 Handheld small-scale fireworks only permitted under conditions below: • Conduct activities southwardly within designated circular log-arranged zones outside gardens avoiding terrace burn marks entirely prohibited otherwise! • Bring personal buckets pre-filled beforehand since none supplied locally onsite yet utilize standing faucets nearby whenever necessary accessing water resources safely/effectively throughout events held responsibly overall ensuring post-event cleanup measures thoroughly completed verifying extinguishment status prior disposal bins securely placed accordingly preventing accidental fires amidst surrounding dry leaves/chips scattered naturally occurring environments nearby areas concerned utmost care diligence exercised always foremost priority maintained consistently!
