We provide a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches from a traveler's perspective, along with suggestions to fully enjoy sightseeing in Sakurajima and Kagoshima. At "Guesthouse Sakuragetsuso," we offer exclusive rental bicycles (3 cross bikes) for our guests to experience the ever-changing scenery of Sakurajima that can only be seen by staying here. Additionally, at our café & bar, we serve specialty coffee from Hokkaido ground from beans, high-quality Kagoshima tea unique to Japan's top tea-producing region, and delicious shochu selected by our Kyushu-based owner. Comfortable bedding, air conditioning in all rooms, free Wi-Fi, and an array of Kagoshima tourism magazines and brochures are available for your convenience. We support your journey not only for sightseeing in Kagoshima City or on Sakurajima but also as a base for exploring Yakushima Island—a World Heritage site. Approximately 17 minutes on foot or about 4 minutes by car from the ferry terminal.
