Sakura Shimanami Hotel Onomichi Ekimae

We stayed here for a girls’ trip to cycle the Shimanami Kaido.Since we went straight to Onomichi after work, it was a huge help that the Hotel is just a short walk from the station. After checking in, we walked to the shopping street for Onomichi ramen at night—so delicious! There’s also a relaxing space in front of the Hotel where you can unwind while looking out at the sea, so we bought canned beer and enjoyed it there. The next morning, we grabbed bread from a bakery in the shopping street and had breakfast—perfect.There’s also a rental bike shop nearby, so the location is super convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable, and LOVOT Sakura welcomed us in the lobby—so cute!We checked out the next day and headed out cycling. They also kept our luggage at the front desk after checkout, which was really helpful. Highly recommended Hotel!I’d love to stay again.

The spacious Room left a strong impression. There was a table by the window overlooking the sea, so it was perfect for having tea or doing makeup—the atmosphere was wonderful. There is no large public bath, but both the bathroom and toilet were very clean. It’s also right near Onomichi Station, so the location is excellent. We chose a no-meals Plan, but we were very satisfied because we could explore the area and enjoy local food such as Onomichi ramen.Cherry blossom paintings featuring the Hotel name were displayed throughout the building, which was also lovely. It felt like an upgraded trip that exceeded the price. Thank you very much.
