From the Kanto / Shizuoka / Nagoya area
From Maibara, take the Hokuriku Expressway toward Fukui.
Exit at Kinomoto Toll Gate and continue straight on National Route 303 to Wakasa Kumagawa-juku.
Approx. 1 hour 10 min from Maibara

From Osaka / Kyoto area
From Kyoto Station, go via Kawabata-dori and head north on National Route 367, then turn left onto National Route 303 to Wakasa Kumagawa-juku.
Approx. 1 hour 30 min from Kyoto Station
*If you are renting a car, it is convenient to pick one up near Kyoto Station or in Tsuruga.*

■By public transportation
From Tokyo: approx. 3 hr 30 min by train + 30 min by local bus
Take the Shinkansen to Kyoto.
At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kosei Line and get off at Omi-Imazu Station.
From Omi-Imazu Station, take the Wakoe Line local bus bound for Obama and get off at “Wakasa Kumagawa” bus stop.

From Osaka: approx. 1 hr 20 min + 30 min by local bus
From Osaka, take the JR Tokaido-Sanyo Main Line Special Rapid Service bound for Tsuruga.
From Omi-Imazu Station, take the Wakoe Line local bus bound for Obama and get off at “Wakasa Kumagawa” bus stop.
