Sanza-Kumagawa

Dinner is served in a BBQ space resembling a restaurant located at the edge of a hill with a panoramic view of the mountains. Enjoy rice cooked in a traditional stove accompanied by the bounties of the sea and mountains of Wakasa and various side dishes. Everything is provided, so you can come empty-handed. For breakfast, relax and enjoy while admiring nature from your Room.

At the shop inside the Center Building Yamabushi, you can purchase our original products. Bringing the culture of Wakasa into a new form. We add our unique touch to products made at our own food processing facility and those made by local producers. Enjoy simple luxury at home.

At Kumagawa Stays, where our sister property Yaokumagawa is located, you can see traditional streetscapes. The landscape, which preserves traditional townscapes, conveys the bustle of the past as a historical resource representing Fukui. (Selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 1996, recognized as a Japan Heritage in 2015) Kumagawa Stays, where many travelers have rested their bodies, offers a leisurely flow of time. Blessed with culture and nature, Kumagawa Stays is still full of charm that attracts many people.

We also offer activities to fully enjoy the mountains. Canoe or SUP across Myojin Lake right after descending the mountain, and race through the mountain trails on a gravel bike. We provide the tools, so you can come empty-handed. The base is located about 5 minutes down the mountain from Yamazakura River.
