Niigata East Hotel

I needed to extend my stay at short notice for work, so I chose this Hotel because it seemed to have good access from Niigata Station.The Hotel is located in a quiet residential area near the tracks in front of the station, and it has a calm atmosphere. The front desk staff were very kind, and the Hotel has a unique, nostalgic feel.The Room was spacious enough, and the bed was double-sized and very comfortable to sleep in. The Facility is simple with nothing unnecessary. Although it does show some age, the Room was clean and comfortable.In the morning, you can pick up two pieces of bread and a drink as a light breakfast at the front desk. There were about five different kinds of bread to choose from. The drinks were black coffee, coffee with sugar and milk, grape juice, and apple juice.It felt reassuring—almost like being at home—and I was able to rest very comfortably. I think it’s a wonderful Hotel that you can use without hesitation when stopping by Niigata. Thank you!

My first solo trip.The moment I entered the Room, I thought, “So small,” but maybe that’s normal...The Facility was simple but sufficient, and I had no particular issues with the sink, shower, etc.Even the faucets were polished beautifully—I was genuinely impressed.I was also quietly happy that breakfast came with bread and a drink.However... the reason my overall satisfaction is one star lower:On a humid night after the rain, when I checked in later than planned due to train delays,the air conditioning in my Room wasn’t working!That’s the only disappointing point.
