Hanatei, a Takeda townhouse with a row of traditional buildings, accommodates only three groups per day. The names of each room are "Ten," "Sora," and "Sen no Kumo." While preserving the traditional Meiji-era townhouse design, we have prepared a comfortable flooring-type bedroom. The baths in the "Ten" and "Sora" rooms feature Onsen, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing soak. We offer a journey where you can "live in Takeda for one night."

Introduction of the Accommodation
Takeda, where Terakoya "Hanatei" is located, is a castle town of "Takeda Castle," known as the castle in the sky. With a long history and its location in the inland area of Hyogo Prefecture, the town has not been hit by major earthquakes, allowing old buildings to remain scattered throughout the town. The walking path along the Maruyama River is also recommended. After enjoying the somewhat nostalgic scenery, why not climb up to the "Takeda Castle Ruins," which closed its curtain in the Sengoku period and is rich in history? From Hanatei, the hiking trail from behind Takeda Station is recommended if you are on foot.
There are three types of rooms renovated from Meiji-era townhouses. "Ten" is a maisonette-type room. Relax on the first floor and sleep in the bed on the second floor. Enjoy a slightly different travel experience in the atmosphere of a Meiji-era townhouse. "Chuu" is a two-room suite type room. While savoring the charm of a nostalgic old folk house, the interior has been transformed into a comfortable space with beds and flooring through renovation. The entire two-story house is reserved for one group. We have fully renovated a cute Showa 30s townhouse. For those who feel uneasy when traveling and want to spend time as if they were at home, this is perfect.
The dining area Machiya Cafe [Terakoya] has been renovated while maintaining the charm of a Meiji-era townhouse. We also sell Japanese accessories, Japanese sweets, handmade desserts, and miscellaneous goods. During the Matsuba Crab season, you can enjoy a large 2L crab hot pot and authentic Tajima beef steak from the main store Kinosaki Onsen "Oyado Hakusan" at a more affordable price than the main store. Day-trip lunches are also popular.
Meals (Breakfast)
On the second floor of the directly managed bakery café "Lupinus Corner," enjoy a semi-buffet style meal at the table seating area. We offer a variety of homemade breads, one Yoka pork bacon cutlet open sandwich per person, Asago vegetable salad, Asago vegetable soup (weekly), Yoka pork miso soup (weekly), assorted mixed rice, fruits, and various drinks.
Meals (Takeout)
The café "Lupinus Corner" on the 1st floor of the directly managed bakery. Takeout is available every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (9:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and on Monday and Thursday (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
Bakery Lupinus Garden is also available for guests with dogs. If you take out bread, drinks, etc. from Bakery Lupinus, you can use Lupinus Garden behind Takeda Machiya Terakoya.
