Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/24/2026Because it was inexpensive, I expected an old, smelly Ryokan, but it was a fairly typical Ryokan. The Room was decent. Amenities were standard and provided. The large public bath: the open-air bath was nicely warm. The indoor bath was lukewarm, but since it was summer, that temperature was fine for me. There is a jigoku-mushi (steam-cooking) kiln and I wanted to try it, but as I was traveling alone, buying ingredients would have been more than I could finish, so unfortunately I gave up. Coin-operated laundry (washer and dryer) costs 700 yen and is located outside. After 10:00 p.m., it becomes pitch-dark and I couldn’t see the wooden step platform; I hit my ankle and scraped it. They should install sensor lights or similar along the path to the laundry area.
