Our property uses Miura Soft Water with near-zero hardness*, gentle on your skin and hair. *Hardness: 1 mg/L or less Soft water changes how your skin feels after washing. One cause is soap scum, which forms when hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium ions) bind with soap and sebum. With “Miura Soft Water,” where these minerals are removed to nearly zero, soap scum that can trigger skin irritation hardly forms—leaving your skin feeling moisturized and silky smooth after washing. Soft water also helps bring out glossy, beautiful hair. The secret to smooth, shiny hair is the amount of calcium: the more calcium in the water, the harder hair tends to feel. While this is not an Onsen, please enjoy a unique bathing experience created by “hinoki” and high-purity softened water.
