Enjoy the 100% natural flowing Onsen and the exquisite cuisine of Kakuman to your heart's content.

  • We stayed for one night and used a Japanese-style room as a family. There were a few issues, such as creaking sounds from the tatami or floor and a door that didn’t close properly, but the meals and the Onsen were excellent. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and we used the private baths in the Onsen, which also had six different types. We were very satisfied overall.Above all, the staff service was wonderful. We would definitely stay again if we have the chance!

  • After the earthquake, I wondered if traveling toward Kumamoto would be a burden, but I saw a news report saying the Aso area had little damage and was struggling due to many cancellations at Hotels and other accommodations, so I decided to go.It was my first time staying at this Hotel, and it was truly stress-free and relaxing. There are six private baths, each with different water temperatures and layouts, which made them fun to try. The water was excellent as well. As for the meals, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were very delicious. The Kumamoto specialties hit all the key points—great selection. For alcohol, not only beer and highballs but also many varieties of shochu and sake were available, which I really enjoyed. The staff were efficient; dishes that ran low were replenished right away. Empty plates were cleared promptly, so there was never any trouble when going back for more food. I definitely want to visit again many times. As an aside, nights in Aso were pleasantly cool—almost a bit chilly.
