Yunohama Hotel

We stayed for one night with breakfast and dinner included. We originally planned to stay with No Meals Included, but after reading the Reviews we changed to the two-meal plan. Just as the Reviews said, the crab, Korean dishes, and breakfast were all amazing. The portions were more than generous, everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied.The owner told us what time the sun would set, and we were able to watch it from a spot just a short walk from the Hotel.The washing area in the bath was tatami-matted, which felt surprisingly comfortable.The Hotel itself may be a bit old-fashioned, but our Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Music that people in their 40s and 50s likely listened to when they were younger was playing throughout the building, which I personally really enjoyed as well.As mentioned in other Reviews, the owner was very friendly and easygoing, so we had a great time.Using points let us stay at a great price—excellent value for money.This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again with breakfast and dinner included when visiting Yamagata.

Although it is described as a Hotel, we made a Reservation because it has fewer than 10 Rooms and offers free-flowing Onsen.There are many Accommodations of various sizes nearby, and this was our fifth visit to Yunohama.Large Accommodations often feel geared toward the masses, while smaller ones can feel cramped,but here the Room did not feel small at all, and with fewer than 10 Rooms, the Onsen was almost like having it to ourselves.We did not have meals since we arrived the day before work,but we felt this is an Accommodation that provides warm, attentive hospitality.The beach is just about a 20-meter walk away, so you can also enjoy sunsets unique to the Sea of Japan.
