Kawada Onsen La Pause Kawada
Fukui Prefecture/Sabae CityLapause Kawada is a stay-type amusement accommodation located in the Kawada area of Sabae City. In addition to soba-making and various experiences, you can enjoy dining, bathing, accommodation, banquets, BBQs, meetings, and gatherings for all purposes. Surrounded by the rich nature of Kawada in a stunning location. Enjoy moments of hospitality unique to each season at Kawada.
There were several bathtubs, and the open-air bath was especially relaxing. At dinner, we enjoyed Echizen grated soba, and the sweetfish tempura—leaving a slight bitterness of the innards—felt perfect for early summer. For dessert, we were even served delicious Fukuian Marseille melon. Breakfast also featured a variety of Fukui specialties and was very enjoyable, and the milk pudding dessert had a refreshing finish. At breakfast, milk, apple juice, iced coffee, hot coffee, and more were available to drink freely. Natto, nori seaweed sheets, and furikake were offered on an “only take what you want” basis. Since some people don’t eat these depending on their preferences—and at other places I’ve wondered what happens when individually wrapped items are served but left untouched—I thought this was a great way to avoid waste. I didn’t need them because there were plenty of side dishes to go with two bowls of white rice. I’d love to visit again in a different season.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 7/2/2026I used to visit the onsen here for day trips, so I decided to stay overnight this time as I wanted to enjoy the onsen again after a long time. Both the indoor and outdoor baths were excellent. The onsen, being a relaxing spot for locals, gave me a nostalgic feeling. For those who prefer a quieter experience, I recommend bathing late at night or early in the morning for a more peaceful time. I will definitely come back again!
