• We stayed at this Hotel after seeing the Shibazakura at Lake Motosu. The next day, we visited Heidi’s Village. The Room was Japanese-style, with two futons laid out. It was great that we could use both the larger Onsen for day trips and the slightly smaller Onsen in the Hotel. The water felt like it would be good for your body. For dinner, we went to the Chinese restaurant in the Hotel. For breakfast, we bought freshly baked bread at Michi-no-Eki Kobuchizawa next door and ate it in our Room. We had a comfortable stay.

  • My wife and I stayed on a one-night stay with dinner and breakfast Plan. We were able to use both the guests-only indoor Onsen bath and the day-use bathing Facility. The water quality was excellent, and it kept us warm for a long time—wonderful Onsen. If I had to mention one thing, I’d like the provided shampoos on the day-use side to be a bit higher grade. This isn’t about the Facility itself, but some regular sauna users talked loudly among themselves, which made it hard to relax. The Room had high ceilings and was spacious, but compared with modern Hotels there were no charging outlets by the bed, so it felt a bit dated. The bed also felt slightly too firm. Dinner was Chinese cuisine and was very delicious. We could also add items from the à la carte menu, so we were very satisfied. Just one point: rice is cooked individually using solid fuel, but when we followed the instructions as given, quite a lot ended up scorched—charred in a good sense, but in a bad sense there were parts that were too hard to eat—so I think this should be improved. Breakfast was served on the top floor, and we enjoyed an amazing view while eating. The meal itself felt like a classic Japanese set breakfast. At both the front desk and the dining venue, the staff’s service was excellent—polite without being overbearing or too minimal. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.
