  • Luxurious Bath Time

    Since the full renovation, every facility has been spotless. I was satisfied with everything, but I was especially surprised at how spacious all four private baths were—and they were impeccably clean. The water was excellent, with no unpleasant chlorine smell overpowering the sulfur scent. The Nordic-style sauna was also very relaxing. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. This is a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again.

    I chose this Accommodation after seeing photos online.Although it’s located in a residential area, each private bath had its own unique features and was excellent.The meals were also delicious.It’s an Accommodation I’d like to visit every year.

Local cuisine

~Local Cuisine Unique to Yunishikawa~

It is said that the Heike refugees who lived in hiding in Yunishigawa enjoyed seasonal ingredients—wild mountain vegetables and mushrooms, river fish, and venison and bear meat—prepared with great ingenuity. This culinary tradition has been passed down to the present day as “Heike Cuisine.” We also offer a variety of à la carte specialties unique to Yunotoki, including Tochigi’s famous yuba (tofu skin), venison sashimi, deep-fried Japanese giant salamander, and our signature Issho-bela fish.

The lounge offers self-service coffee, tea, and Japanese tea, as well as magazines, paperback books, and manga.     ■ Dinner: kaiseki cuisine filled with Tochigi’s bounty

    A kaiseki course featuring Nasu Sangenton pork shabu-shabu as the main dish.
    Enjoy carefully selected local ingredients chosen by our head chef, including Tochigi specialty yuba (tofu skin) and seasonal kamameshi rice.
    To finish your meal, we offer our special “Dashi Chazuke” free of charge (8:00 PM–10:00 PM). Savor every last moment of your journey.
